Zafars is a hidden gem literally. The road to get here it's right next to the U-Haul store. I probably have driven past this road 1000 times and never even knew that a place like this existed at the end of a uneven paved street. What an amazing place located in new Windsor. I had no idea that this place existed. A family member told me about this place and I have to try it. They have bulk quantity of everything from eggs to French fries and they even have a deli counter. The building itself looks to be fairly new construction. Overall I almost don't want to yelp this place because I don't want too many people to know about it. But places like zafars deserve recognition. I will 100% be back here. After getting the item off the shelf for me, he asked if there was anything else I needed. I did self checkout and when I was finished, I realized one of the items didn't ring up at the price I thought. I went up to customer service to inquire, and the woman walked over to check the shelf price with me. It was my fault - I picked up an item that was not included in the sale. So I asked if I could switch my item, and she said of course. She walked me back to customer service, did the two price adjustments, all with a smile! I apologized since it was my fault, and she said it was fine - and she even thanked me! The fact that all employees and customers were wearing masks just made the shopping experience even better!
