I do not recommend this CVS. Called for help with an emergency fill and the lady on the phone was extremely rude and wouldn't recommend what I should do. Went to the CVS on Dobson and Warner and they actually showed some compassion and gave me multiple suggestions on where to go to get an RX for them to it. read more

Let me tell you I will say they are probably understaffed and I absolutely hate those auto pay machines and the regular part of the store but I will give you five stars for Anthony , the pharmacist and his staff they were wonderful, kind friendly, approachable, cared about any additional questions I had took the time to explain Irons and went over things with me. Despite there being a couple people behind me, he did not make me feel rushed. He made me feel important, and I will definitely come back to this location. I've had several negative experiences at the Mesa location, but this one here in the pharmacy is a 15 stars lots of parking private lot and a very clean store. . And definitely remember to look out for those clearance stickers. I got two things of iron at 75% off and only paid $2.75 for each bottle of 60 iron supplements. Having worked at a pharmacy I understand being understaffed and busy. The problem with this particular pharmacy however is just complete lack of sense of urgency. They don't hesitate to send you away and come back multiple times without regard to your time or honoring their own promised times. 000 Stars! This pharmacy is an absolutely painful experience. It's a continual battle to get Rx. Doctors call and fax Rx and they don't get filled. I call, wait forever and then they pick up and hang up, so I need to call again. 15-20 minutes at a time. I also get a harassment of text to fill Rx even though I already requested refills. I get wrong dates told when a refill will be excepted by insurance, so then I need to call. Guess how that goes. Sometimes, I feel I'd rather be sick then deal with this every month. read more

We got there at 8:50pm (they're open until 9?) The store was locked. As we pulled in, we saw a young man collecting signs/flags from the parking lot. We concluded that he had to clock out at 9, that CVS wouldn't pay him overtime, so his only option was to lock the store while he went outside to collect the store's moveable property before 9. If you need a pharmacy - as in a place to fill prescriptions, don't go here. They're too busy giving shots to handle prescriptions. They don't contact your dr for refills even though they think they have and there's no way to reach them. They don't answer the phone because they're understaffed and the one person there is now giving shots all day. 3 different times I tried to pick up scripts (since they don't answer the phone) and their app just shows in progress. 3 different drs never got the refill notices from them. Ive transferred everything but one script that has to be filled by CVS. My script has been stuck in limbo for a week. I need my medication!! read more

There is someone on the pharmacy staff at this location (OR at the corporate level) who is not choosing to follow my repeated requests about no automatic refills. I've made special trips in to speak to the staff in person and asked them to remove the automatic refill request from my records only to have it happen again, and again after a few weeks. I am perfectly capable of asking for a refill in time. If I request the refill then I can fit it to my schedule. One of my medications makes me sleepy. For me to meet someone else's demand can put me at risk in the drive to the pharmacy. None of my medications are life threatening if I should go beyond a refill date. The annoyance I feel with the pharmacy as a result undermines my good will toward them. read more

Ugh, the worst! Pharmacy takes FOREVER no matter what time of day you go. It used to be good, but I don't know what changed. There's been so many times I had to leave because I didn't have the patience to wait 30min for the person in front of me. I just go for a quick pick-up for my meds, it takes me 10min. And they always have my prescriptions wrong or early, just a mess. Even the bottle dates are screwed up from time they filled to time I picked up. I get constant reminders to go pick my meds up too early. And they won't group them together, so I have to go multiple times a week sometimes to get all my meds. Get it together, please. read more

Disappointed that the manager spent several minutes watching videos for a missing make-up brush for a teenager and said, "No, it was in the bag." He was unwilling to replace it. So, an $8 make-up brush on a $60 receipt just cost him the customers of a family of 8. And the original cashier was rude to my exchange student until I stepped in - she wasn't much nicer to me. At which time I was told to deal with the company of the gift card and I did only to be told to return to the store for a refund. I'm so confused why they even bother to have a phone line to their pharmacy when no one ever answers. Last time I waited 45 minutes and still no one answered. If they don't have enough staff they need to just shut down the phone line altogether. I can't call ahead to speak to a pharmacy staff member to find out the cost of a medication before I come pick it up. Half the time the drive through is closed as well. It's such a poorly run operation. I hope things improve but it's just gone so downhill over the last few years. read more

This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy that I've ever been to! It's so bad I can barely give it one star. I've been there three times and each time they give me the runaround. I went in on the weekend and dealt with a floater pharmacist to get my prescription. He promised he would call my doctor and get my prescription sent over. I went in the next day they tell me that that guy never worked there before that I made it up! Are you kidding me, these people are crazy!! The permanent pharmacist then finally sent my doctor a request to fill my prescription. I go in the next day only to find out that they're out of stock and no one notified me. CVS defrauded me! I purchased a $15.49 jug of laundry detergent and a $5.29 box of Cheerios. I had a coupon for the Cheerios good for $1.89, a 40% off coupon, a $3.00 "Extra Bucks rewards" coupon, a $2 Extra Bucks rewards coupon, and a second $2 Extra Bucks Rewards coupon. Somehow, my total before tax was $9.67! I did not know that at the checkout because I am set up for my receipts to be delivered to my email address. When I got home and discovered that it was impossible for my total to be that high, I responded to the customer satisfaction email that CVS usually sends following a purchase. Within hours, a rep from CVS emailed me, asking for a daytime phone number. I responded and also sent a scan of my coupons. Three days later, no response from CVS. CVS has now instituted a policy on diabetic test strips for non-insulin dependent Medicare patients where they will not dispense more than 100 strips for 3 months regardless of how many the doctor says are necessary. This amount is the Medicare baseline but Medicare's rule is that if the doctor says more are needed, Medicare will pay for the amount necessary for the patient to follow the doctor's order. I spoke to Medicare this morning, the DME claims representative told me they are getting a lot of complaints about this policy. I just transferred all my prescriptions elsewhere. So far, this CVS has been the most efficient and communicative pharmacy I have had since I moved to AZ. I was using another pharmacy that I'll leave the name out, that was slow, never had my meds ready on time, and then had an issue filling a prescription that my doctor from Vegas would call in for 2 YEARS! The pharmacist stated he wasn't comfortable filling it, but had no problems for 2 years. So I transferred all my prescriptions to this CVS and they are great. They are friendly, accurate, and if any issues they call you. Very glad this CVS does such a great job, especially since it's so close to my house. read more

I have been going to this pharmacy for a couple of years, but I am going to move all of my prescriptions. I must get 10-15 texts a week even when I have already picked up the prescription 4 minutes ago. I stopped the texts but now I am getting phone calls 3 already today which I will move all of my prescriptions immediately. Most of the people who use to work there have also left. In addition I will save a lot of money (my fault) when walking around picking up items while waiting for a prescription. I am very disappointed that this location stopped carrying the 24 oz tall boys of Bud and Bud Light. How hard is it to keep 6-8 of these hanging on the inside of the cooler door where you still sell other beers? Awful customer service. The cashier at the cash was apparently the supervisor, name Sara. She was very rude to me and my child. My daughter was returning something to the cash and she told her if your are not buying it then give it to me. I ended up buying the item since it was just a fly swapper . I really want to feel bad for the pharmacy staff but I'm too frustrated. They run 5 days behind on refills. You get put on hold for hours when calling to make sure prescription is ready since I'm not receiving texts ( turns out I'm not receiving texts because my prescriptions never get refilled). I had to go five times two weeks ago and I had to insist to get my prescription done while I was there to finally get it. The pharmacist was there on his own on a Saturday. Was handling drive through, in person and the phones. He looked exhausted but was very courteous. (I received a random text hours later to tell me my prescription was ready. Like...I know. I have it.) Had to pick up amoxicillin for my daughter who had a wisdom tooth taken out two days ago. Not ready day of. Not ready second day. It's amoxicillin PLEASE this is needed. I went here to pick up my meds., and get a few shot. When I got their they had not opened yet but right at 9 I went to counter and they push my med. Refill to the top and gave me my shot and I was done within 15 minutes. On Monday and Tuesday there is a guy named Nick to help antone with enrollment questions. Being on SSI and new to Az.
