Just here picking up a script thru the drive-thru. They had a bit of an issue hearing us through the speaker system but they found everything. Overall pretty quick and the drive-thru is nice because we didn't have to get out of the car. BTW, this location is open 24 hours a day at the pharmacy as well as inside the store. read more

I take my grandma here to get her medicine but they always make her wait a very long time. They will say 20 minute wait and then 20 minutes pass and still not ready then we have to wait an hour when they could have just told us one hour in the first place. The lines are usually long and they tell us they are understaffed. They really need to hire more staff here and better communication. read more

So does my wife without her prescription. the Walgreens we normally go to is closed, transfer me to this one that doesn't answer their phone. Will tranfer all scripts in the morning. This review is for a Pharmacist, not the store itself. Won't get into the details of my prescription insurance company, but they totally screwed up. My daughter needed her med refilled, and we were unable to do the mail order. I was told they could send it to Walgreens, but when we showed up, there was no prescription on file. MOHAMMED was on the phone with my insurance for about 1/2 hour getting it all straightened out. Even though we ended up needing to pick up at a different Walgreens, he made sure we were able to get the prescription filled and took care of us. He was truly our saint today! read more

Stay far away from here. The person working the window will tell you that your insurance doesn't clever prescriptions and try to charge you full price. WOW Amazing pharmacy! I had my doc send an order to another location "Guadalupe and Ellsworth" on Friday and called few hours lady and the pharmacy said will not be ready until MONDAY and rushed me off the call and I was so shocked it would take days for me to get my meds since I was very sick. I called this location on a Saturday AM and spoke to a amazing sweet lady that worked in pharmacy and she was shocked to see the pharmacy I placed my order never placed the order and said she can get it done ASAP and I drove 30 min away sick to just go to this location and the staff was fast and so nice! I even had a 2nd order the pharmacy told me they can take care in the next 15 minutes and I was so happy I got my meds I was so sick and all the staff at this location was amazing! read more

I ordered an Rx here over the app mid day and paid for same day delivery (stated 7pm cutoff). At 5PM app still said waiting for courier. I called and spoke to pharmacist who said delivery could not be made same day. I explained i had already paid and was well before cut off. When i was connected with the manager -he was rude an unapologetic about failing to meet their commitment. In fact he did not see it as a commitment at all. I stated that we were still before the stated delivery and wanted my paid delivery same day. His response... cancelled the order entirely and told me to go somewhere else. Done. Safeway was awesome. The staff at this pharmacy is consistently amazing. I have been going to this Walgreens for years, especially the pharmacy because of how well I'm treated. I am always treated with the upmost respect no matter how busy they are. The pharmacist is always so helpful with a great level of knowledge. The technicians always have time to explain anything I've ever asked. The cashiers, the front line even when they are treated badly because of so many reasons they have always treated me professionally, respectfully, and they always greet me with a smile even when they are getting people's bad days dumped on them. Unfortunately I continually have issues with this location. Drive thru window clerk, male, was extremely rude. Additionally, they never have my monthly prescriptions in stock which causes a delay in taking my meds. We are leaving Walgreens for a non large drugstore with hopes of having a positive experience. I am so happy with their dog toy selection. I honestly didn't think of Walgreens for toys to be honest, but I saw them and brought two home for my doggy. She loved them! I came back for 6 more, they are buy one get the next one half off, and I sure did. They are really sturdy. My experience with this pharmacy was frustrating from start to finish. I needed a prescription transferred from California to Arizona, as I'm here helping my dad who's been in the hospital. I called on Thursday, November 21st, to request the transfer and even drove through their drive-thru that day to update my insurance information. I was told the process would take 1-2 days. By Saturday, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called to check the status. The woman I spoke with claimed there was no record of my request and instructed me to call my California pharmacy to initiate the transfer. When I did, the pharmacist there explained that this was incorrect and not the proper protocol. Frustrated, I considered finding another pharmacy or a homeopathic solution. Later that day, I received a text saying my prescription was ready for pickup. When I arrived, I learned they don't even accept my insurance--something the employee who took my insurance card on Thursday should have flagged. Instead, I waited three days only to be told I'd have to pay a higher, non-insurance price. Thankfully, the man working Saturday evening took the initiative to call CVS, which does accept my insurance, and successfully transferred my prescription there. While I appreciate his help, this entire ordeal was poorly handled, and I wouldn't trust this pharmacy again. read more

Come back here and you do it." Then the guy tells me to get out when he still hasn't handed me my prescriptions that were phoned in two hours earlier. Literally the worst pharmacist experience of my life. UNREAL. No way customers should be treated like this. Loud, argumentative and rude staff. As a pharmacy technician, a significant part of your job involves customer service. You will most likely be the person who replies to emails, answers the phone when customers call, and greets them at the counter when they drop off or pick up a prescription. Why is this Walgreens Pharmacy still operating? Why is the same 1 star reviews for the same problems NINE years ago still occurring to customers today!? Changed to this pharmacy 2 months ago and I do not recommend. I will be changing back to the previous Walgreens location I went to. 1. The first Rx I had filled I was shorted 30 pills of a controlled medication. I was able to pick the missing medication up after speaking to the pharmacist when I noticed 10 days later and they reviewed on their end and confirmed they did indeed short me 30 pills! This is extremely concerning! They initial the bottle and the print out to confirm quantity. Obviously not. 2. Every single pharmacist, tech, manager, etc has a their own policy. None of them follow the same rules and they all tell you something different. Something that 1 pharmacist did last month the next one has an entirely different one. 3. I wish I had the woman's name that I have spoken with over the phone a few times when calling the pharmacy and dealing with in person. She's white, probably late 40s early 50s, light brown, curly hair, She is very rude and short every time I've spoken to her like god forbid a customer have a question or need help. I asked about their store's policy (because they all have different policies) and apparently this location is a free for all and every employee can make up their own policies to follow as they want. I wanted to make sure that my meds would be available and in stock to pick up when it was due and so that I was not out of my medication... just like any of my other routine meds. I was shut down and told they would not fill early. That's not what I ever asked. I simply asked if they would have in stock so I could pick up on the date that they are able to fill. I don't think that's unreasonable. If they only refill 1 day prior (Day #29) and that happens to fall on a Saturday or a Sunday and are out of stock - you will have to wait several more days for them to order your medication and have it filled. I told her that I was trying to avoid a delay or being without my meds as there was a time my meds were due on a Friday but because they didn't have in stock on Thursday and didn't submit the order in time ... AND it was a 3 day weekend, I had to wait 5 days before they would have in stock so I was out of my meds for 4 days which caused me unnecessary side effects and withdrawal. She had the audacity to argue with me and tell me that wasn't possible, that never happened, and the only reason there would have been a delay is if there was a manufacturing problem. Seriously? Why are you even arguing with me about this??? 4. They don't even answer their phone. They pick it up without saying a word, click the hold button and put the phone down. Every time that it rings again prompting the pharmacy to answer they still don't - they don't utter a single word and they do the same thing over and over and over. This happened to me 15 times before I got so fed up and hung up. I drove down to the pharmacy because I got an app notification, text message and email saying it was ready to pick up. I get there and they said it's ready but they won't let me pick up until the next day. Huh?? Typically when you get those notifications saying it's ready then it's READY yet you won't know unless you physically show up. Russian roulette. Hope you have no plans because you'll be devoting several days to trying to get your meds filled and picked up. Management needs to shut this entire location down, hire new staff and train them properly. There's absolutely no excuse for this location to have the same problem it's had the last NINE years! read more

I was charged $100 more for my prescription cause the guy used an outdated discount card- but insisted it was done correctly. Unfortunately, I agree with the reviews about the pharmacy. Service is unfriendly and they were not helpful. While picking up my son's prescription, the cost was significantly higher ($150 more) than the price last year. The woman I spoke to was eager to move onto the person behind me and kept asking if I was going to get the medicine while I was trying to figure I why it was so expensive. I did not have this experience at the Walgreens at Guadalupe and Alma School, and I highly suggest going go a different location or switching pharmacies all together. read more

Stopped in to get a couple things. Noticed that there was m&ms on sale. After coming to the register I put in my phone number. The sale didn't count. I asked Fifi, or Phephe, I didn't ask her spelling. Said it didn't work. I tried a different number. Once again it didn't work. I asked if she had a new card I can grab and she said "no..." and went on this explanation. I asked her to remove the candy. She began to explain something about the coupons. I asked her for her name. She replied "seriously?". I was taken back. Never coming here again. Will be filling a corporate review as well of this incident. Absolutely the worst pharmacy you could ever go to. Every single time I come here to get my sick girlfriend's medicine they play around like it's some kind of game. They couldn't care less about your loved ones at that pharmacy. All they care about is themselves and doing the least amount of work as possible. Every-time i come here they say "oh the prescription isn't ready" and they will fill it within a couple hours and you should get a text. it's been 4-5 times they they have lied and don't fill it. I will come back hours later after the pharmacist said it would be 20 minutes to fill and to my surprise it's another employee telling me it's not ready but they can fill the prescription and it will just take a couple minutes. But nothing happens and we have to wait till the next day ect. And they do it again and again. and it is never ready. And there is 0 accountability if you care about your loved ones and them getting your medicine in time this is not the place to go. read more

I've been going to this pharmacy for years and their service had been average, however lately their staff in the pharmacy have been rude and extremely poor in customer service. Dont ask any questions about your scripts, they get annoyed and condescending that you're asking. Leeann, a tech, has zero active listening skills and repeats the same words no matter your clarifying questions and gets extremely rude about it. I am not making an order at McDonald's, I am asking about my medical prescription ordering and instructions. If this pharmacy wants to talk to people like they are ordering at a fast food restaurant, they should work across the street at McDonald's. AND it was 7:45 in the morning. No one should start their day off at an establishment that is rude to their customers. Life is hard enough, we just want our medical prescriptions, provided by our physicians, and just a little bit of kindness. That must be too much to ask at this Walgreens. read more

CVS by my home could not get my prescription to me when we needed it right after surgery. Today I was very concerned about trying Walgreens across the street because I too, had a horrible experience with the drive thru tech who would not release my LEGAL prescription for Ivermectin during the Covid plandemic. She was accusatory, hateful and CRAZY, telling me I wasn't taking it for the "right thing". Thankfully another pharmacy issued it with no problem, and I am happy to report that I fully recovered quickly from Covid after taking that legal Ivermectin prescription. My husband and I said we would NEVER go back to Walgreens. Well, in desperation we had our Orthopaedic Surgeon call the pain med into Walgreens because CVS could not come through with it. I walked in to pick it up and was greeted by the kindest staff as I walked to to the back. They were all incredibly helpful, asking me if I needed to find anything in particular, and I picked up the prescription with no problem. The storefront clerk was so very kind and conversational. Seems that this particular store is working on excellent customer service now. Not sure if they are still Nazi's about filling LEGAL Ivermectin prescriptions, but there are plenty of other pharmacies out there that fill those, no problem. There are so many terrible reviews about this pharmacy, but today they came through for me and I think it is important to be fair about that. read more

The drive-through pharmacy is a major joke! They have several pharmacists working and it is extremely dysfunctional. The two lane drive-thru is so unorganized. We sat in line for 20 minutes while 5 cars got serviced & rolled by in the other lane. They lost my boyfriend's drivers license and claimed they didn't have it, but they did have someone else's drivers license who was expected to come back for it, which clearly tells us that this happens often enough. Most unbelievable thing I heard to start my day off . 5:45 am on a Saturday morning . I attempt to load my chime debit card , there is absolutely no other customer in the store . I am told that it can't be done because the clerk needs a manager swipe . The manager cannot swipe me because she's in the back while the truck delivery truck is unloading . She said she was "too busy " to do that right now and for me to come back in an hour. I wouldn't come here if it wasn't the only 24 hour Walgreens in the area . That lady is a lazy blob .
