As this is Tempe, the home of the "beer-soaked ASU undergrad", there are numerous choices. Between 7-11, Frys and JP's Food Mart, the retail outlets, as well as the Q and Brew along with Monkey Pants, Yucca Tap Room and Time Out Lounge, the choices are abundant. JP's Food Mart is apparently intended to be the non-corporate Quickie Mart in the area. There are numerous munchie choices of the 'prepackaged' variety, as well as cold soda, juice and water offerings. The beer selection ranges from low to high-brow. Prices are representative of most offerings in the Valley...between 10 and 20 cents cheaper than the 7-11 on the corner and more oriented toward single item purchase instead of the six-pack offerings at Fry's. Probably the biggest consideration: the hours. Sunday nights apparently have the most flexibility...generally closing 12:30 am...with Fridays and Saturdays around 1:30 am, while Monday-Thursday maintaining through 2 am. Maybe the clerk has plans on Friday, Saturday and Sunday...? As I am presently working in South Tempe until 12:30 am, it is significant that I might be able to find a beer to carry home about 12:40. Will keep you informed about the bars in the area as they become relevant. BTW, credit and debit cards are assessed a charge for purchases below $6.50...so beware.

It was not a cheap order and I felt terrible. I was so happy he reached out and called me on my screw up! I called him told him right away I would pay the tip and I would drive down there the next day. He promptly informed me that would not be necessary because had already covered my tip. I am so sorry to that driver as that made me look awful and I'm forever thankful for this display of customer appreciation. I can guarantee they will continue to get my business and hopefully that driver will deliver exclusively to me moving forward. I promise she will be well tipped moving forward. Her cell phone was off so I got worried and just decided to called the store. The employee Andrea answered and was so unbelievably sweet and offered to look around the store for her. When she saw my Grandmother wasn't there she even offered to check the surveillance footage. Turns out my Grandma stopped at a different store first and walked in as Andrea and I were on the phone. I called them days ahead of time to refill my eliquis. The automated system said both my scripts would be ready for pickup by 10:45am 10/15/26. One med, diltiazem , they couldn't get. One of the most commonly RX'd meds on earth and leave it to garbage Walgreens to not be able to source it. Now the eliquis, when stopped abruptly carries the risk of a rebound clot that will kill you. I explained this to the 5 year old on the phone and she could not have cared less. ZERO F's GIVEN. Walgreens is trash, the 20 year old children they employ to get your medication care more about their eyelashes and what Javier is doing while she's at work being an idiot then they do keeping you alive. Typical.
