Everytime I used the self checkout line, I've had to ask for assistance. All the employees that came to my aid were knowledgeable, friendly and handled my concerns well. I don't go into Walmart stores other than their Market Stores. I'm not bougie or better then anyone who does go into Walmart but because I've had the worst luck each time I've entered them, I am just not a fan and refrained from going inside of one at all cost.! Speaking of... whatever happened to them delivering to your house and putting it all away for ya? Remember that advertising? They have the pickup parking in a designated area with numbers in the parking spot that you'd pull into. Once there you would call the number posted and let them know which spot you're in and they will bring your groceries out and load them into your vehicle. Very organized system!!! I am weird. I like checking out other local places when I am in different cities. The other reason? I like to buy cheap snacks so I can nibble on them in the hotel room as well. Where else but good ole Walmart? Atmosphere - 3/5 - This was an older Walmart. The parking lot is dimly lit, and it is not 24 hours like most Walmarts. Could be COVID related. Staff - 3/5 - Does anyone really find staff in a Walmart other than at the register? What did I get? Just basic snacks (gum, starburst, chocolate, and chips). The prices here were a little higher than in Dallas (just FYI). Would I come back? Absolutely. I know my Wal-marts, and if anything, there are signs to point me to the place. I bought 4 Flowflex Covid-19 Antigen Home Tests at Walmart at 3460 W. Chandler Blvd. There was no signage at the location of the tests indicating that the sales were final. One test kit was packaged without the nasal swab so brought it back to the store to exchange the test. The customer service person and her manager said that the sale was final and indicated on the receipt the Return & Exchange policy. They did not care that there were no posted signs stating that all sales are final. At this point all I can do is file a Consumer Complaint for poor business practices with the Arizona's Attorney General's office (which I believe that they have more important things to do), write this review, and/or file a complaint in the Small Claims Court. read more

I bought an item via Walmart.Com. It was defective. I printed the return barcode and the instructions said to bring to any Walmart for refund. I went to Walmart on Chandler 85226. This store had the computers go down, come back another day. I come back and the clerk said I need to put it into a box. Ok come back another day boxed. A woman who works at the optical center has a big attitude and advised me of possible refusal of service for an honest mistake. I am in need of an eye exam and I found a couple of good reviews for a doctor that works at the WalMart optical center. I called and made an appointment. I arrived on time for the appointment only to find out I went to the wrong Walmart. The woman at the location where I went looked up my appointment in the system and told me I had scheduled the appointment at the Chandler Mall Walmart on Chandler Blvd. I called the optical center at the Chandler Mall location to explain what happened and to say that I would not be going to the appointment. The woman who answered the phone said that the person who was scheduled after me had cancelled their appointment, and she asked me if I wanted to take that appointment. I declined for a couple of reasons. First, I wanted to go home and figure out at what location the doctor with all the good reviews works. Second, the Chandler Mall location was out of the way for me. And third I had an appointment later in the morning and I didn't know if I'd be out in time. After I declined the appointment the woman got a major attitude with me. She said, "Just to let you know...." and went on to say that after two "no shows" they can refuse to see me or make me pay at the time I schedule the appointment. As I was driving home it occurred to me, how was I a "no show" when I called to explain what happened and cancelled my appointment? Isn't a no-show someone who just blows off the appointment? I could have very well blown them off and just gone home. But instead I paid them the courtesy of calling them to let them know what happened and got a lot of attitude and told I warned of being refused service. read more

This is in reference to delivery service. It's bad really bad. I signed up for a 30 trial Tuesday, after my 1st delivery I canceled it. I do not have time to waste calling their CS dept in some other country to tried to get what I paid for, then Walmart has the nerve to email me thanking me for a tip which I never authorized. I would never tip for the service I received. You literally took a pic you could see nothing, claimed that is where you put my groceries. I called cs got a guy that was rude but I also couldn't understand half of what he said so I ask him to transfer me to the USA which they are supposed to be required to do if you ask he said no you call back maybe you will get someone so I called back got another guy that was basically the same. Called back again got a women name Maria although she had an accent I could understand her and she was very helpful. The I had to call again because I was missing an item, got another girl who was also very helpful but I don't think she was in India or "South America" as I was told. I had a Thanksgiving grocery delivery set for last night, 21NOV, at 9pm. Walmart uses door dash and I received a text from door dash advising Latoya had just delivered my $100+ groceries. Went to my porch-nothing. Walked to neighbors downstairs and all of them in my current building=no groceries on anyone's porch. Called door dash. Spoke to a rude lady who advised door dash is NOT RESPONSIBLE for misdeliveries?? What?? She told me that it is Walmart's responsibility, not theirs if groceries are misdelivered. Wow...YOUR DRIVER .. but put it back on the store that gives you their delivery business? I asked her to call Latoya and find out where my groceries are and I will go get them. Once again she told me if I have any issues I had to call Walmart and she couldn't do anything. Thank goodness for Walmart customer service agent Maria! She could hear my frustration and quickly helped me set up a refund and reorder the exact same groceries with one click of a button on their website! Went in today with my three year old so that he could look at all the Christmas toys that were out. This weekend is Veterans weekend, and being a service member, I am appalled at the way my son, and I were treated. We were followed throughout the store by plain clothed loss prevention employees. After a while, I had enough, and I called out one of them. I asked him why was he following us, as I know when I'm being followed. He preceded to ignore me, so I walked up to him, and asked him again. The embarrassed look on his face said it all. He explained, "I wasn't following you, just looking around." I told him that I've had enough training being in the military, I am always aware of my surroundings, and his fake "shopping" was not fooling anyone. Unsurprisingly, after I confronted the employee, he was never to be seen again during my time in the store. I made a complaint to a manager named Alex, and to his credit, he was very empathetic. Ordered curbside pick up last night, when I arrived today I was the only one parked in the reserved areas, so keep in mind they weren't busy. I had to call ten times before anyone picked the phone up to give them my location number, keep In mind it took me 15 mins just to get in contact with someone on the phone and then nine mins later two girls come crawling to my car on their cell phones pulling the two dog food bags I had ordered, which they have no care in the world on urgency it was oblivious. Since Walmart closed the store that was close to my home at Chandler Blvd and Kyrene I've been going to this store near the Chandler mall. I only buy about a dozen products from Walmart on a regular basis, and that's only because they sell these products at 10 to 25% less than the other stores. The problem I have with this store is that 3 or 4 of the products I go there to buy are frequently out of stock. There are 3 items that I have purchased from Walmart for several years that have not been in stock at this store for over a month. This tells me that the management at this store is completely incompetent, and the department people are even more braindead. If they can't keep the selves stocked with the products that people obviously want to buy, then they're failing at their jobs. Maybe she sensed I was having a rough day (and I would have totally understood if she sent me away), but she happily agreed to get me what I needed. I'm sure she was anxious to get home, but I do appreciate her above and beyond Customer Service. It is a very rare find anywhere these days and I was shocked to find that inside a Walmart. We head up to the self check out after about 20 minutes of shopping, scan our items and our total comes to $125 for 14 items. We pay and get our receipt and the lady who watches the self check out lanes asks us to see our receipt so we kindly hand her our receipt, she looks it over as she's telling us we didn't pay for the shower caddy that we had and we showed her on the receipt we paid for it, she then tells us she is having another woman come and check our receipt. Uhm ok... So another lady walks up checks our receipt and tells us we're all good to go. As we're walking towards the exit door we are run up on by john and he yells so loud " LOSS PREVENTION JOHN STOP STOP " my husband and I look at each other obviously so confused and John tells us give him our bags and walk to the register by self check out. He then proceeds to dump every bag onto the ground still shouting that he has us on camera stealing and not scanning items and we're trying to explain to him that the items we have we paid for. He's scrambling thru our shit and reading the last 4 numbers on the barcode of each item loud as fuck to the girl at the register as she looks at the items and after what felt like 15 minutes of him intentionally embarrassing us the girl says to him "I have 14 items and they have 14 items..... so now I'm pissed and ask for my receipt back as he is still telling us he has us on camera stealing and asks us to go to his office. I said do we have to and this man sitting on the bench yells out " HELL NAW YALL AINT GOT TO " we grabbed our bags snatched our receipt and walked the fuck out. I hate wasting time on reviews and complaining, but the sad decline in your store's quality has forced me to bring it to your attention. Your toy department simply sucksss now. You used to have a healthy, well-stocked section and happy, willing employees to help. But now, you have a rarely ever stocked, receive one item a week type situation, and the once nice person in charge of that area, Amy, is now simply a moody, snarky employee who will slam a box of items in your face and walk away. I know where her resentment came from, as I personally saw various managers scold her for helping customers with items on the floor. That scolding is not only unprofessional to do in front of customers, but you are purposefully creating a hostile culture for both your employees, and now your customers. I actively avoid that area now whenever I see her stocking as I don't feel like being scowled at by a walmart employee on my regular trip to my local store!!!! This is ridiculous!! You make customers NOT FEEL WELCOME. Everyone within the toy community (yes, we all talk) has noticed and it has clearly cost you money. Change this asap!! Change the culture!! Went to walmart yesterday while I was there shopping i saw 2 associates just standing around not really doing anything i realize they were kinda kids probably do not get paid enough per hour. So why really work...but then the one kid. Omar with orange colored hair walked away and picked up a basket ball and started bouncing it and dribbling it in the aisle I was in and the ball got away from him hitting me and then bounced off me and onto a shelf knocking down merchandise onto the floor.he walked past me got the ball then walked away towards the sporting goods area. I used the grocery deliver option from this store and both experiences has been nothing less than horrible. The first time the delivery driver put my groceries on the street and refused to help me so I had to get my employees, I had missing and broken items. I reported this to he store but I received nothing. The other on 08/19, I did a grocery delivery once again to my job. No one ever showed up. I called the store no one tried to assist me to locate the items I paid for and kept me hold for an excessive amount of time until I finally hung up. I called back and immediately requested a manager and I spoke to Shane and told him about my experiences. He informed me he will be processing a refund for both orders at 4am because I was unable to cancel them on my side. I had to call the customer service number the next day to actually get assistance because my order was never cancelled. I did a live chat with a csr regarding my refund status but he wasn't helpful either. I have screenshots and recordings about this whole situation. I will never use this service again or go to this store. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! read more
