This is my favorite CVS. The black lady in the pharmacy has been there a long time and she is always so nice and I appreciate her customer service and care. Today I went in and had a great experience with the cashier and no wait. I was also able to use my coupons and save a lot of money. I love that about the CVS app. I wrote a bad review last time and it seems like they have fixed the solution. I'll be back and thanks for taking care of me. Plus the store looked very nice. Thank you CVS Carlsbad! read more

Consumer deception / unethical sales scam. Bought home health aid (Shower bench). Assembled, decided too large and NOT USED. Disassembled, returned to original plastic and box exactly as packed at factory. Refused return by CVS employee citing "California law does not allow returns of home health aids." Not posted in store or in the aisle, and NOT a California law. Posted at CVS website as THEIR policy...and they can refuse "any product return". But is that posted also? No. Why buy anything from CVS with such a broad policy not protecting their patrons - who are also trusting or vulnerable patients??? Wow. See my video. And buy your health aids from Amazon prime. I'm out $89 not counting tax with a ton of other scammed customers from all their locations who fell for the same ripoff. What else have they refused to return, and to how many? Too bad I won't know who the owners or shareholders are when they come to see me during their STEMI code to save their life in my Cathlab...Or maybe I do. read more

passport photos? save your time and energy. go to USPS! the ladies that work there are miserable. i walked in at 8 am and there was a line. the family in front of me was sweet as we chatted while we waited. when it was their turn one lady w the nastiest attitude said "you're here again?" to which the family stated they have been coming back as customer service directed them to return for their photos. it was my turn and as i walked up, i asked if i was able to get my passport photos taken. the lady then sighed and rolled her eyes stating "i don't do that and the person who does is going on her break in a couple of minutes." i was obviously thrown off w her attitude so i asked if taking photos which is only 5 minute process can be done and she said "you can shop around until we're ready." i understand you hate your job but it is too god damn early for you to ruin everyones day. a simple "i'm sorry the photo associate is on their break." would've been just fine. not "they're going on their break in a few." w a sigh and eye roll. get what you give. the wrong person would've done more! every time i go there, there is ALWAYS something w these damn ladies. read more

Okay, it's time I say something. Always giving them the benefit of the doubt but their customer service is incompetent. Avoid this pharmacy. It's too hard to have basic conversation with customers for the employees that work here. If you need something from a locked cabinet, need help finding something, questions regarding their photo department, having issues checking out cause their systems are down... they don't want to help. Unfortunately I've been going to this location for a few years and it's gone completely downhill. Shoutout to the lazy and crappy attitude employee who should not have a job that interacts with people, Erin. Just awful. The manager, Matthew Guzman... no better. I hope corporate implements some staffing changes for the better of the company. read more

The pharmacy is supposedly out of Cefalexin, an antibiotic, per their text. I am calling them now and they simply do not pickup. The store often closes randomly and puts a sign on the door. I reached out to the area manager who never called me back. This is a BIZARRE location. read more

I think CVS is pretty good always gotten my prescriptions delivered in the timely manner. I've had a slight stroke and I'm unable to drive right now and they accommodated my needs quite well. I've also had caregivers that have been able to go and pick it up for me, which has been also very helpful and I would recommend Meridian home health for that. read more

Service here is terrible. There's a reason why there are so many bad reviews. I am a regular at this store. I live right around the corner. Went here as a walk-in to get a covid-19 booster. Even though there are signs all over indicating they take walk-ins - they do not. Even though nobody is there for a vaccine and nobody is waiting - and yes, they had inventory (I confirmed)... they will not take a walk-in. Went to Walgreens in Oceanside - no problem. I waited a little bit - but, they managed to be helpful and customer oriented. Even though there credit card systems were down creating chaos - they still helped me. Got the booster. No problem. I highly recommend not wasting time at CVS. They are not customer helpful at all. Needless to say - I will not be going to CVS for anything. Have moved my prescriptions - we all deserve to get good customer service. read more

Get a clue CVS. Your pharmacy is a disaster. There is always a line and it takes 10-15 minutes to process a single customer. I hate going to your pharmacy. Fix the frigging problem. Wether it is a POS system problem or something else, just get you management ass over there and figure it out. Damn it. I am still in a long line after 15 minutes. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Angry customers waiting - Drugstores Near Me - Carlsbad, California

Not open 24 hours... We're here at 11pm and it's closed there is a note about prescriptions on the door. It's kind of sad to see these third world signs in Carlsbad. I read CVS is having problems. I'll try to update on Google since it still shows it's open 24 hours. Time to switch to Walgreens I suppose. 10 people approached the store , read the note and went back to their cars in the time it took me to write this review... read more

For a second I had a flashback and thought I was in my 20s trying to get in a club downtown , The way I The way I was treated like I was trying to enter a secret members only club. I checked all the available information on app and website, it said open 24 hours store and pharmacy open 24 hours I drove 20 minutes from Escondido to Carlsbad as I'm walking to the door I see a gentleman knocking in an aggravated manner on the glass door which resulted in a 6 inch crack opening of the sliding door , a lady poked have her head into view , as she hid the rest of her body . Before I stepped off the black top and on to the curb closer to entrance, The body language suggested she must've said something to the man that made him pace away towards vons , looking very annoyed. When I made it to the walkway infront of store entrance, . I soon understood why the previous man has walked away mumbling under his breath. i tried to catch the ladies attention and let her know All I need is something from the pharmacy , OTC medication , and instead of getting an explanation or any instruction of how I should resolve my issue and what is The new process for customers/PATIENTS, should I have called ahead to pharmacy and tell them I need Pepto-Bismol. I didn't even get an acknowledgment or one-word response. she just started closing the door as quick as possible without saying a word to me, I quickly tried telling " OTC medicine Pepto-Bismol " for my wife's upset stomach. Praying that there would be decency and they could take my money and go inside by what I needed and bring it back outside to me if customers weren't supposed to come inside at this time. I thought this was a pharmacy And the listing on the apps and the websites Clearly said 24 hours. . I just hope the people that show eup after me unaware of the open 24 hours lie, didn't have more urgent matters like RX refill or a new dr. prescribed medication to call ahead and wait for curbside drop off of their RX medication. or any accommodation or service or even respect that . Regardless I didn't even get an explanation or even and effort to HEAR my emergency need for a digestive OTC medicine, much less think to talk to me and give me An explanation or other places or what time I should return. This lady had the sliding door open manually , no more than 6 inches . Holding it in a way like she was there quick draw to close it before I could really get up look at her name tag door ask for answers and I had only delayed her 1 second pleading for someone to grab the OTC bottle and I'll pay and stay outside . That made the lady Hesitate and look over to Someone seemingly next to her , that I couldn't see. But whoever it was must have quickly gave her the signLike a bouncer at the club giving me a thumbs down and before I could ask if there is a pandemic procedure or something I should know So that if I need medication from my neighborhood pharmacy again this won't happen and I can follow the process they would wantmove to slam the sliding door shut in my face without even giving a response or reason to why I couldn't get an OTC medication what is the store full of employees and pharmacists. I couldn't see which coworker was hiding i couldn't see looking there's film on the windows and signage but to her side was either A coworker or supervisor that was hiding like a coward , I was shocked I have walked to my car and tried to call the pharmacy and ask if I could get an order of Pepto-Bismol or whatever and pay at the door however weird way they were trying to do business but I figured out they weren't trying to do business and they were just like the high-end club and I guess I wasn't on the list to get in thetic how can you even have health care in the name of this business read more

CVS Pharmacy - Store. Hours their own app. And website LIES. they saw me walking from my car to entrance , they slammed the door and hide from customers - Drugstores Near Me - Carlsbad, California

The line doesn't have to be long to wait a long time to pick up a prescription, and PLEASE hire a high school kid and FIX your website.

The worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I honestly can't believe how incompetent they are, today I am dealing with the 3rd SUPER lame thing they've done and they always try to not take accountability. I will not give them my business again, it's just not worth it. And the pharmacist is just kinda rude and not understanding. Avoid this place. read more

I really hate this CVS in my new neighborhood. Since it's near me, I tried transferring all my prescriptions here, but half were mysteriously lost and no one here had any idea how to fix this. I eventually transferred everything to Carlsbad Village Pharmacy, a great little Mom-'n'-Pop not much further away. CVS couldn't begin to list my prescriptions to help, so I had to write up my list by hand. Sometimes a doctor's office accidentally sends a prescription here. CVS never calls me or mails me or texts me to say my prescription is ready, so there's extra mystery added here. And when I find they sent it here, I have to stand in a very long line at the CVS pharmacy window before hearing they have "no record of your prescription" and that's it. I ask if they can check any further and they say "No." When I just come in for OTC items, I often leave without finding what I need. I'm in the store right now, and I notice the "Bandages" shelves are almost entirely CVS products. I finally found Nexcare Tegaderm bandages under "Itch Relief"! Oh, and diabetic supplies are under "Wound Care." This pharmacy is like a ghost mall store. I'd go elsewhere all the time, but CVS has most of the pharmacies here. Hooray, Southern California! read more

This is literally the WORST pharmacy I've ever been to. Not only were they extremely rude to me, but to everyone I overheard them speaking to. When trying to call them - they either hang up or route you to a voicemail for truck deliveries. Do better. read more

By far the worst pharmacy. Way understaffed and they lie to you about your wait times for medication. They will tell you 30 minutes but anticipate waiting over an hour. Also, if your doctor calls in your prescription they likely won't have listened to the message. They need new management and better organization. read more

Hey look, I have time to write a review as I wait for the self check-out to summon an employee with its flashing light. The self check out next to me is doing the same thing. And the real person check out line is about 20 people long. I have the impression that other than in the pharmacy, that one employee at real person checkout is the only employee in the whole store. At 5 PM. On a weekday. And you want to know why so many people don't get a flu shot and fall incredibly ill each winter? That 5-second procedure required 3 employees and 45 minutes to complete. I'm eating snacks while I await employee assistance. I think that's ok. I could die of starvation while stuck here. read more

Out of the 5 unenjoyable visits the service here is beyond dookie. The customer service is rock bottom and the waiting in the line is unbelievably worse. I think by the time you actually make it to check out, your body doesn't even need the prescription anymore... also my pictures that I ordered apparently just vanished and my only option was a refund :/ read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced in my life. Just calling to talk to a pharmacist can be up to a 10 minute wait or you are just disconnected for some reason. I've seen 10 people standing in line with just one teller. I was told that there are multiple "floaters" for pharmacist so they all have there different say so on when prescriptions can be filled. And it can take the teller up to 10 minutes sometimes just to deal with a customer. Do NOt go to this pharmacy unless you have plenty of time on your hands. read more

I made an appointment for a flu shot on line. There are available open times to choose from. I chose 6:45 pm. I arrived at 6:35 and waited for someone to acknowledge me which didn't happen until 6:50. I filed out the check in information on line to make things faster however they made me fill it out AGAIN. After filling out the information they asked me to take a seat and someone would be with me soon. I waited and waited and asked twice if someone Waze going to see me soon. I waited until 7:18pm and then left!!! I will not be going back to that CVS again! read more

If you need a COVID rapid antigen test for travel, the CVS Minute Clinic works well (they also do PCR tests). The antigen test was pretty simple - they verify your info, take your temperature, give you the nasal swab and tell you what to do. The lady running it was very pleasant and made the process simple. No cost for the test using insurance, with phone results within 2 hours, and written results within 3 hours that can be uploaded for air travel. read more

I stopped by today. Purchased something I needed and felt the need to go to the bathroom. So I see this lady who worked here and asked her politely if I could use the restroom. She looked at me as if I gave her the ick and turned her back on me before I could finish my sentence. She said she would get the key. I asked someone else for it and the gentleman nicely went for the key. The lady didn't end up grabbing it. Is it because I'm not your race Karen? Anyway. There was absolutely no one at the register for minutes. And there was a huge line at the pharmacy. I see that's a tendency here. They clearly don't care about their clients. read more

Manager Jennifer was not helpful when I asked for assistance with worker Mathew stating there was no restroom to the customers due to COVID. Went into cvs this afternoon to return pamperin as I'm allergic to it and a blue nail polish. The little immature Mexican kid. Didn't get his name was busy scanning his 20 candy bars in self checkout. I was standing at the register with my receipt but missing the box to the pamperin and I had my receipt he says rudely what do you need I said I would like to return and then do an exchange of my nail polish he rudely says " we don't do exchanges" that's funny because your website states otherwise!!!! Little boy. He kept scanning his candy not once did he even look at me so I could get his name. Then he finally came up to the register I gave him my receipt he says again rudely you don't have the box I said no I can't find the box but I have my receipt oh we can't refund it what am I suppose to scan how about the receipt jackass!! I told him I was going to call corporate and I will. There was 2 whole customers me and this other guy. And he was rude to them also. I came home found the box went to another cvs and boom they refunded me and I was able to get the nail polish I wanted without an argument. This guy is an ass!! At this Carlsbad location!!! Won't ever go In there Walgreens's is a lot nicer!! F cvs!! read more

What is wrong with this place?! Zombies masquerading as employees. No one can help, no one knows anything, no one can say thank you, no one even knows that there are customers in the store. Then had such a complete blank stare that I questioned whether she was human. Hello!!! Management!!!! Your store sucks and will never be back! I'm sure I'm not the only one. read more

Finally engaged employees at this store. Darla is that Auntie you don't want to cross. Darla is friendly and efficient and the only employee besides the pharmacy, that keeps everything in order. There are days when my inhaler is really low and I think I can make it thru the night. The customer service at this CVS pharmacy is abysmal. On one occasion the tech told me that he'd be right with me, but then left me waiting for over 10 minutes. Another time I dropped off a prescription and they never bothered to contact me to let me know that they couldn't fill it. The last straw was that I had an issue with my prescription and the pharmacy staff played dumb and said that there was nothing they could do. So I went to the nearby Walmart pharmacy and the pharmacy staff gladly helped me resolve my issue. read more

This current CVS location needs to be closed. Whether that's for just a time. When they fix things or fully. I walked in one day and the entire store smell absolutely horrendous, not just bad but horrible. I had to walk out within five minutes otherwise I would've puked. There was a HUGE hole in the ceiling that could be leaching mold or any sort of other bacteria or dust that could be up in the ceiling, And that whole is obviously where the odor is coming from. I understand that we're in a pandemic right now but this should be considered to be unacceptable. read more

Yikes. I love to affirm good service, and do so over and over on Yelp. Unfortunately, this is not one of those times. I had a serious problem with drug coverage though I had paid premiums, filled out paperwork, etc. The staff at this pharmacy really was pretty awful. I can certainly understand that they might not be able to solve my problem, but after hours on phone with insurance companies, medicare, etc. the very last thing I needed was a sour and totally not compassionate approach to my problem. Just act like you care, even if you don't. Its customer service 101. read more
