I think CVS is pretty good always gotten my prescriptions delivered in the timely manner. I've had a slight stroke and I'm unable to drive right now and they accommodated my needs quite well. I've also had caregivers that have been able to go and pick it up for me, which has been also very helpful and I would recommend Meridian home health for that. read more

Service here is terrible. There's a reason why there are so many bad reviews. I am a regular at this store. I live right around the corner. Went here as a walk-in to get a covid-19 booster. Even though there are signs all over indicating they take walk-ins - they do not. Even though nobody is there for a vaccine and nobody is waiting - and yes, they had inventory (I confirmed)... they will not take a walk-in. Went to Walgreens in Oceanside - no problem. I waited a little bit - but, they managed to be helpful and customer oriented. Even though there credit card systems were down creating chaos - they still helped me. Got the booster. No problem. I highly recommend not wasting time at CVS. They are not customer helpful at all. Needless to say - I will not be going to CVS for anything. For a second I had a flashback and thought I was in my 20s trying to get in a club downtown , The way I The way I was treated like I was trying to enter a secret members only club. I checked all the available information on app and website, it said open 24 hours store and pharmacy open 24 hours I drove 20 minutes from Escondido to Carlsbad as I'm walking to the door I see a gentleman knocking in an aggravated manner on the glass door which resulted in a 6 inch crack opening of the sliding door , a lady poked have her head into view , as she hid the rest of her body . Before I stepped off the black top and on to the curb closer to entrance, The body language suggested she must've said something to the man that made him pace away towards vons , looking very annoyed. When I made it to the walkway infront of store entrance, . I soon understood why the previous man has walked away mumbling under his breath. i tried to catch the ladies attention and let her know All I need is something from the pharmacy , OTC medication , and instead of getting an explanation or any instruction of how I should resolve my issue and what is The new process for customers/PATIENTS, should I have called ahead to pharmacy and tell them I need Pepto-Bismol. I didn't even get an acknowledgment or one-word response. she just started closing the door as quick as possible without saying a word to me, I quickly tried telling " OTC medicine Pepto-Bismol " for my wife's upset stomach. Praying that there would be decency and they could take my money and go inside by what I needed and bring it back outside to me if customers weren't supposed to come inside at this time. I really hate this CVS in my new neighborhood. Since it's near me, I tried transferring all my prescriptions here, but half were mysteriously lost and no one here had any idea how to fix this. I eventually transferred everything to Carlsbad Village Pharmacy, a great little Mom-'n'-Pop not much further away. CVS couldn't begin to list my prescriptions to help, so I had to write up my list by hand. Sometimes a doctor's office accidentally sends a prescription here. CVS never calls me or mails me or texts me to say my prescription is ready, so there's extra mystery added here. And when I find they sent it here, I have to stand in a very long line at the CVS pharmacy window before hearing they have "no record of your prescription" and that's it. I ask if they can check any further and they say "No." When I just come in for OTC items, I often leave without finding what I need. I'm in the store right now, and I notice the "Bandages" shelves are almost entirely CVS products. I finally found Nexcare Tegaderm bandages under "Itch Relief"! Oh, and diabetic supplies are under "Wound Care." This pharmacy is like a ghost mall store. I'd go elsewhere all the time, but CVS has most of the pharmacies here. Went into cvs this afternoon to return pamperin as I'm allergic to it and a blue nail polish. The little immature Mexican kid. Didn't get his name was busy scanning his 20 candy bars in self checkout. I was standing at the register with my receipt but missing the box to the pamperin and I had my receipt he says rudely what do you need I said I would like to return and then do an exchange of my nail polish he rudely says " we don't do exchanges" that's funny because your website states otherwise!!!! Little boy. He kept scanning his candy not once did he even look at me so I could get his name. Then he finally came up to the register I gave him my receipt he says again rudely you don't have the box I said no I can't find the box but I have my receipt oh we can't refund it what am I suppose to scan how about the receipt jackass!! This is the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced in my life. Just calling to talk to a pharmacist can be up to a 10 minute wait or you are just disconnected for some reason. I've seen 10 people standing in line with just one teller. I was told that there are multiple "floaters" for pharmacist so they all have there different say so on when prescriptions can be filled. And it can take the teller up to 10 minutes sometimes just to deal with a customer. Do NOt go to this pharmacy unless you have plenty of time on your hands. read more

Hey look, I have time to write a review as I wait for the self check-out to summon an employee with its flashing light. The self check out next to me is doing the same thing. And the real person check out line is about 20 people long. I have the impression that other than in the pharmacy, that one employee at real person checkout is the only employee in the whole store. At 5 PM. On a weekday. And you want to know why so many people don't get a flu shot and fall incredibly ill each winter? That 5-second procedure required 3 employees and 45 minutes to complete. The customer service at this CVS pharmacy is abysmal. On one occasion the tech told me that he'd be right with me, but then left me waiting for over 10 minutes. Another time I dropped off a prescription and they never bothered to contact me to let me know that they couldn't fill it. The last straw was that I had an issue with my prescription and the pharmacy staff played dumb and said that there was nothing they could do. So I went to the nearby Walmart pharmacy and the pharmacy staff gladly helped me resolve my issue. read more

This current CVS location needs to be closed. Whether that's for just a time. When they fix things or fully. I walked in one day and the entire store smell absolutely horrendous, not just bad but horrible. I had to walk out within five minutes otherwise I would've puked. There was a HUGE hole in the ceiling that could be leaching mold or any sort of other bacteria or dust that could be up in the ceiling, And that whole is obviously where the odor is coming from. I had a serious problem with drug coverage though I had paid premiums, filled out paperwork, etc. The staff at this pharmacy really was pretty awful. I bought an item here and asked a cashier to allow me access to a bathroom. I was told that paying customers are not allowed to use one. I spoke to the manager who also claimed the same thing. This was new to me as I have never gone to any establishment such as a grocery store that did not allow restroom access to the public especially those that pay. I can't believe that not allowing customers access to a bathroom is legal and I hope a law is made to change that. On my side I made a mistake because I should have returned my item and boughten it at the much more welcoming customer friendly Vons that was 30 feet away.
