Sometimes there is a wait for gas. It seems like this location is pretty busy as it is really the only gas station around the area. It is also in a pretty busy parking lot. They have a pretty good selection inside no matter what kind of snacks you like. Today they were offering a 7-eleven rewards card that got you free drinks and food. The issue I have is how dirty it is outside sometimes. I have been there multiple times when the trash is overflowing. Also the food area with condiments is sometimes dirty. OMG!! DO NOT USE THEIR ATM!!! FRAUD ALERT!! I have only used this stores ATM twice since I've moved here 4 years ago, I avoid this store at all costs if possible. Each time I used their ATM, a few days later there is someone trying to make a transaction at a San Juan Capistrano 7-Eleven for $200. Obviously fraudulent because I was in Carlsbad all day. POOR WORK ETHIC AND INCOMPETENT STAFF. 1. EVERY TIME I come here during the day ALL exterior trash cans are bursting and overflowing with trash. Not only does it inconvenience you if you have trash while getting gas but it also creates a TON of litter and pollution. 2. I have been refused a pizza on more than one occasion because the cashier "does not know how to make one." This is a blatant lie so that he does not have to get off his butt and make something for the customer. The last time this happened I got in contact with the manager. Almost immediately the cashier knew how to make pizza suddenly. 3. I have been here on several occasions where the entire store is just locked and closed (this has only happened at night/early morning). I come to 711 because it is open 24/7. So when I come to see it locked and closed because the employees don't feel like working a slow graveyard shift, it directly inconveniences me extremely. 4. I have gotten food poisoning from this 711 twice. Once was from their store brand 711 uncrustables knockoff and the other was from a Nakéd fruit smoothy that was no where near expiration. This is unacceptable. This 711 obviously stores unused refrigerator items in a non-refrigerator environment. IN CONCLUSION I only came here due to convenience but it is just too much for me to bear anymore. I have NON of these problems at other north county 711s. Strongly recommend avoiding this spot. I've frequented this 7-11 on multiple occasions as I work down the street on Faraday. It's a quick one stop shop for lunch. Service is pretty fast and the store is maintained very clean. If you go during lunch time be prepared to wait a bit for parking. As a matter a fact, that whole shopping center is pretty hectic. Ok so unfortunately, all of what you're about to read is true. I came in here one morning to grab a coffee. I saw one of the cashiers/owners prepping the taquitos. I then saw the worker drop a taquito on the main counter, where all the money and other transactions happen. He then nonchalantly took the taquito and put it back on the cooker. I then said to him, "that's gross". He then replied, "It's still good". So If you like your food hot & gross with a hint of coins, dirt, and dollar bills this is the place to grab your grub. Shit cashier. Very lazy and unhelpful. Saw smart water 1 for $1. Grabbed what I thought was two of the same bottle but when I got up there realized it was two different bottles. One was in the wrong place in the fridge. Went back to grab another smart water to get the special. Returned to register to have him tell me it would be $8. Such crappy customer service. I had to vomit because..., @9:04am, Saturday Oct.6, 2018. I Stopped @ this 7/11 for gas and a snack. Chicken wings weren't ready. Guy said he could have them fresh and ready In 3 mns. I prepaid. 18 minutes later, he hands them to me in a box and they were too hot to eat. FastForward 10 minutes. They were as hard as bricks. Usually 7-11's are in more densely populated areas and often times in lower income areas or just high traffic. This is the only one I know if in the middle of a business park. The gas is fairly cheap in price and quality, but remember your in Carlsbad in an area surrounded by hundreds of business. I've been held up at 7-11's, but I'm pretty comfortable in my safety at this location. They have an ATM, but no redbox, a fairly small alcohol (beer, mart liquor and wine) offering, but large wide isles and less about the baked goods and greasy food and sodas and more about packaged snacks. read more

This 7-11 is always clean, and very well stocked. Their products have very current expiration dates (EG well into the future, not the day after tomorrow) which shows that employees pay attention to cycling out their inventory. They have a wide selection of Naked Juices, and every kind of nut and snack you could dream of. I always pick up White Cheddar Popcorn, a bottle of Aquafina, and Peanut Butter Cups for my long drives back to LA, and this place is always fast, clean and reliable. read more

This location is the frickin 5 star rating of all convenience stores; from the friendly and helpful staff, to the amazingly clean store! WHO FRICKIN KNEW, a clean 7-11?!! Crazy talk, right! I'd understand if I was some rando but when I come here 2-3 times a week you'd think they would want a happy customer. I went to this 7/11 to pump gas I inserted my card entered my pin and my card was declined which was insane so I checked my acct and my acct was zeroed out. I freaked out called my bank and they let me know that 7/11 had a hold on my money for 24 hours. I don't know how that even happened. I wasn't even to pump gas!! I left and was completely low on gas here was no way I was going to make it home since I work right around the corner. They took all my money so I had to ask a family member to come back down to pump gas for me since all my money was gone. My family member came with a credit card and had to pump gas with that card. And we had to use that card. I pump gas and leave, my family member calls and says 7/11 took out 200 dollars from his account!!!!! This is insane!! I called and they said there was nothing they can do and the lift would be removed in 24 hours?! First of all why is this happening in the first place?!
