I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience at Bay Parkway Pharmacy today. After arriving and scanning my app for medication pickup, I waited over 40 minutes despite making the staff aware of my presence. During this time, Monica, who was working at the cashier, behaved in a completely inappropriate and disrespectful manner. She repeatedly walked past me without acknowledgment, and I overheard her and another staff member, Abdel, making dismissive and offensive comments about my wait time. This level of disregard for a patient is unacceptable. To make matters worse, after the long delay, I was informed that they could not locate one of my medications, and I had to leave with only two out of the three prescribed. This is concerning, especially when patients depend on timely and accurate medication dispensing. Unfortunately, this is not my first negative experience with Monica. I have been a customer at this pharmacy for 19 years, and since she began working there, interactions have consistently been problematic. Her attitude is unprofessional, dismissive, and not reflective of the standard of care patients deserve. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses both customer service and operational issues. Patients should feel respected, heard, and cared for--not ignored or disrespected. read more

Not my favorite CVS but it's the closest one. The store seems to be always understaffed. The line to check out is always ridiculously long. I've never seen it shorter than 8 people. Nowadays, everything is locked up so you have to call an associate to help you open. It's tough because sometimes I just want to browse, maybe look at the ingredients of different items but since it's all locked behind, make a quick decision and pick one. Also a lot of stuff is not stocked at this location. It would be helpful if they implemented self check out machines to make the line go faster. The line is definitely the worst part. I've came at different days and different times and each time the line is long. If anyone knows of when the line is shortest, let me know. I don't like it but I come anyways. Terrible CVS. There was only one guy behind the register while there was another lady employee just watching him struggle. He had to ask her to step in to take the customers and when she did, she had an attitude and was probably taking a personal call as she had her cellphone on speaker. Extremely slow customer service and everyone looks miserable working here. read more

Great little cvs. It is very busy but the lines move quickly. Expensive items or possible items that are often stolen such as ice-cream are locked away and require a key but service is very quick and there is someone to unlock very fast. Don't let the checkout lines scare you as they go very fast. Great employees and they deal with a variety of personalities. read more

I came here to find a hard to get item that Walgreen/ Duane Reade did not have and Amazon was selling only in bulk. Luckily this CVS had it. This was my first time here, the employees were helpful, greeted me and worked efficiently. The store looked well stocked, there were several employees on the floor and the lime to check out moved pretty quickly. The prices on what I needed were fair and they followed all COVID-19 pandemic protocols that can be expected. I would recommend them for your immediate needs. read more

I had only two items to ring up. Front line was busy so I went to the back since the pharmacy wasn't busy. The pharmacy tech refused to ring me up cause I didn't have a prescription. All I was getting was Tylenol and a freaking Pepsi! What type service is this. I understand if I had huge cart but that was complete bull. I was scammed. Yesterday I went to CVS to get a 25$ apple giftcard. I purchased the car and the receipt said it was valid and when I went outside of the store the card wasn't working and it kept sayings it's "not valid" I went back inside and they said they can't do anything about it and told me to call apple support. When I called I was on hold for hours and nobody picked up. I was so upset that I probably got scammed by CVS. DO NOT GO IF U WANNA GET SCAMMED!! read more

This is one of the locations with "drive thru" COVID testing. It's not a drive thru at all. Sure, there's a parking lot, and like two spaces dedicated for parking. But they've set up a shack, where you have to call the phone number, and then you go in with a paper bag with the PCR swab/vial, and they tell you what to do on the other side of the plastic. It's quick and you swab yourself, but drive thru is very much a misnomer. You can make an appointment online, but there was absolutely no line for walk-in's. Plus, it's all free. I wish CVS did antibody tests though. read more

In the passing of my travels on St. Patrick's Day 2012 where CVS was readily within access on Brooklyn's Bay Parkway. I needed a Sharpe pen for autograph signings in preparation of my attendance at a live band performance. This CVS is low on stock as their stationery department has many holes for "time to reorder" signage was visible. Albeit, what this CVS was lacking in stock compensated me to be very accommodating. Rude, rude, rude and ignorant. I was at the check out, to pay for my purchase, and before the cashier rang me up I was asked, "Do you want to save 10 dollars on your purchase today?" And I politely replied "No thank you." So he responded "oh you don't want to save 10 dollars." And I said "no , I'm good." And he said to me, "Ohhhhh you don't want to save 10 dollars?-you must be rich! You must be rich (repeated 2 times) I ignored his comments because I understood that he is an arrogant individual. . I kept my head down. And then he said , "oh if you're rich I should come live with you?" I really did not appreciate the commentary and I don't want to be harassed at my local CVS store. Since the 18th avenue location has closed down --I have to (unfortunately) come to the Bay Parkway location. I will no longer fill prescriptions at this location. I have been filling my scripts here for over 2 years and, in the past couple of months, have had an issue with one of the pharmacists (the rest have been great and I'm sorry one person is reflecting so poorly on them). I have a prescription for Adderall, which is a scheduled II controlled substance. Because of this, I have to get a new script each month from my doctor rather than getting refills. A couple of months ago, the pharmacist wouldn't fill it; she said that because it hadn't been thirty days since my last script, I would have to come back in two days. As per NYS LAW, they can refill my script if there are less than seven days left of the current medication. I filled my last script on March 12th; today is April 9th. I stated this to the pharmacist, who looked very confused. When I repeated myself, she hesitated before saying she couldn't do it. I took my script back and told her I'd go to a pharmacy that honors the law. I give 2 stars rather than 1 because, in all fairness, she was polite while refusing to fill my prescription. I didn't get her name but she is a young, petite, Chinese woman. One of the older pharmacists should really give her a refresher course in how things operate before they lose any more customers. read more

Avoid this location at ALL COSTS! The pharmacy department is rude and incompetent. They will lie to your face about vaccinations availability and turn you away. How are you going to tell me you did not receive the flu vaccines when my neighbors got it at your location and YOUR website directed me to YOUR location. The entire staff lied TOGETHER, and no explanation was given. How can I trust you with filling medical prescriptions when you cannot even be honest about a vaccine? SECOND INCIDENT: A refill request was put in for my toddler's medication on line at 11:55 am. Shortly after (11:59 am) , I received an e-mail confirmation stating it was being worked on. I happen to be in the area (1:00 pm) so went to check if it might be ready , only to be told to come back in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later, I line up and was told a request was never made and there was nothing on file. What medication do you need? Are you serious? Why would you tell me to come back in 30 minutes if there was nothing on record and ignore the e-mail confirmation I repeatedly showed? Also, if any effort was put in, there was only ONE refill on the account. No attempt was made to address the error or fill the prescription on the spot. The pharmacy department is unprofessional and rude (ahem pharm tech by the name of Lily that had the nerve to tell me "that's what it says" when I wanted to clarify a dosage for my then infant) This is how you speak to a customer? Why should I dread going to my local pharmacy for medication because of incompetent workers? unbelievable!!! I wish I could give this location NO STARS. read more

CVS is my to go to pharmacy for almost for my vitamins, snacks, print-outs, some type of makeup, and school supplies. At first I was thrilled with this new CVS at my neighborhood and especially because they have a parking lot for it. But the service of this store made me give this place only 2 stars. The workers take forever at the checkout and there is not enough people working here. I send print out to this CVS one time and they took forever for the staffs to check for them and then they ended up telling me that they might have loss the package and making me print again using their computer in store... There was one time, I brought a lip-balm and when I went home..it wasn't there. Now I learn that every time I need to double check my items in the bag before I go. This CVS is often stocked and has the sale items of the week and if they dont they kindly offer rainchecks. I made return here too and the customer service here is excellent. Staff are upbeat and the check out line is never too long. Too bad this CVS does not have a self check out. Also this is the only CVS that I know of that has two coupon machines. Major plus. I always go to this CVS, Nothing special just a typical CVS. This is the only CVS that I' have ever been to that doesn't have self checkout / express checkouts.The line here is usually long because the workers are really slow. The reason for my rwo stars is because my mom went there to buy vaseline and candy which was a total of $6 bucks my mom gave them a 50 Dollar bill. and the cashier gave back my mom $4 and my mom said she gave them a $50 dollar bill. The cashier kept denying it. We got the manager and he said that he couldn't do anything about it until they close the registers. So my mom left her number and her name there and they called back at midnight the next night. And the manager said that he that they're missing $50 dollar on top of that $44 dollar they owe my mother. The manager said he'll keep trying, Honestly if he tried he wouldn't of called at midnight when everyone is already sleeping. Worst CVS ever ! This CVS is the best one i have been too in my area. They are always stocked up with stuff. The staffs are nice and friendly sometimes. The check out line is never long to wait at, not like some cvs's i have experienced. Cough Cough CVS in 18th ave haha. the head pharmacist doesn't give two shits they look at you like you're a drug addict when you're picking up your prescription meanwhile they don't know why you're getting a certain prescription, very un professional head pharmacist. It's good they have a parking lot too since I sometimes stop by before going somewhere at night. However what bothers me is that there aren't any self checkout stations. What century is this? Your typical pharmacy. The store is quiet big and filled with a variety of products you can purchase. They sell anything from holiday gifts to shampoos to makeup to drinks, etc. the place is pretty much empty half the time so you tend not to have problems waiting on the line. The employees their are quiet friendly and help you out if you need anything in specific. The place is kept clean and the floors are shiny. The price of the products they sell if typically above other stores you can visit. That is the only downfall. Either than that it's just an ordinary store .. Not worth visiting if you live far away because there is nothing special about it. read more

Usually come here on the weekends to check out the weekly deals...sometimes cvs offers free rebate stuff..how awesome is that! This place never run out on certain on sale stuff...many cvs around my neighborhood does... There is a good amount shoppers and staff working here... There is self check out machine...but omg there's always glitches through those machine you might as well go to the regular check out line... But there's always no one there.. So they pretty much make you go to the self check your line...there is a staff member working at the side of the machine... I think it's redugless... But whatever...area is clean...kinda hard to find parking here... The area has a lot of people foods hopping and it's by the park so parking is a pain in the ass ... Before you step inside be sure to grab flayer... I always forget... There's always these great sales going on check out their weekly flayers! read more
