While I do shop at the Lakeway location from time to time, this one truly stands out to me. First of all, the staff here is consistently friendly and welcoming. It makes such a difference when you walk into a store and feel genuinely appreciated as a customer. I also really enjoy the samples -- they always seem to be cooking something delicious, and it's a fun way to try new items. The wine selection is excellent as well, and I love that they often have wines available to sample. It adds a special touch to the shopping experience. What I appreciate most, though, is the incredible variety. This store carries such a wide range of products, and it feels thoughtfully curated. I can always find what I'm looking for -- and usually discover something new and exciting, too. The overall layout and selection just feel better suited to my tastes. For me, the HEB on 71 in Bee Cave is hands down a standout location. Great staff, great variety, and a really enjoyable shopping experience every time.

The staff are rude, and unhelpful. They look miserable and just don't care. Constantly wrongly ringing items up or forgetting to give you your bags. I've even asked them not to pack for me because I just don't get all my stuff. Really disappointing.

I had been working with fertility doctors for four years, trying desperately to have a baby. My fertility doctor said that he had done more procedures on me than on any other patient that he had ever had, and he was urging me to stop trying, which I was never going to do!!! I was 43 years old and trying everything under the sun and spending a fortune... fertility acupuncturists once or twice a week for years, abdominal massage, integrative doctors and naturopathic doctors and specialists. The first time a met Kaya, she prescribed the autoimmune paleo diet for me, which I followed exactly. The next time I had an IUI (my 13th or 14th, and after 4 unsuccessful IVF), it worked absolutely beautifully. I stayed on the diet to the letter during the entire pregnancy, and I had a very healthy, problem free pregnancy, despite a host of autoimmune diseases including type 1 diabetes, and my son is very healthy. Not one of the countless specialists, both M.D. and alternative medicine specialists, whom I had worked with before I met Kaya, had ever mentioned this diet, which was the key for me, I have no doubt. I thank God so much for sending Kaya into my life and giving me my son! I am writing this with happy tears in my eyes. I trust Kaya completely any time I have a question for myself, my son, or my 89 year old father. She told me what supplements and formula to give my son when he was a baby and the years since as he is growing. She helped my dad recover fully some years ago after a mild stroke and regular consults with him to advise him regarding supplements and other recommendations, and we are so thankful that he is doing very, very well, teaching full time, and better than ever, at 89. She helped my son, myself, and my dad through Covid scares. It was very comforting knowing that she has had vast experience with Covid patients and had an important protocol that we followed carefully to help keep us healthy through the scary Covid days. As an optometrist, I have recommended patients see Kaya, and I have referred many friends and family from all over the country to Kaya, including a friend who was similarly trying to have a baby and who has a similar, very happy success story, thanks to Kaya's help! Thank you, Kaya! We owe you a lot. I have complete confidence in recommending Kaya to anyone and everyone.

I had to look up if CVS worked with them and they did so I stoped in. I asked if they load chime cards. The cashier said yes. So I put $360 on the card. He asked for another $4.95. I asked, what is that for... he replied he doesn't know it must be coming from chime. He said It's an activation fee. I said that's odd. I've never got that before whatever... he then said he would need another $4.95. I said I just handed you $360 just take it out of that. He said no additionally. I gave him another $5. I thought it was strange. So I got on my app and asked chime. Why did you charge me $4.95? They said we don't charge a fee. It must be a third-party. I'm familiar with POS systems and the cash discount. But in Texas, you need to tell the consumer that there is a charge before the purchase... Don't blame the other company! I wasn't making a purchase, but that's not the point ... the cashier wasn't properly trained and didn't tell me that there would be a third-party fee which Walgreens does not have. Or any other that I know of. I went back in to inform them that what they're doing is illegal. They need to have a sign posted for the consumer to make that decision before being charged the processing fee. Don't lie when confronted! The manager was just as oblivious and said he would pass it on to his director. Instead of I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I was not aware of this. I will make this right in the future so no one else needs to go through this. And most of all that we are not breaking the law. Texas Law: As you could see here. In Texas, charging a consumer a "processing fee" (often called a credit card surcharge or convenience fee) without prior disclosure is problematic and can be illegal under certain circumstances. Texas law has a complex history on this topic. Under Texas Business and Commerce Code § 604A.0021, it is technically prohibited for a seller to impose a surcharge on a buyer who uses a credit card instead of cash, check, or similar payment methods. A similar prohibition applies to debit cards under § 604A.002. Violations can lead to civil penalties up to $500 per violation. My note from chime: Support I'm sorry to hear about the unexpected $4.95 activation fee. Chime does not charge any activation fees for opening an account or activating your card. If you see a charge like this, it may be related to a third-party service or a merchant, not Chime itself. Had to vent.... Enjoy my $4.95 POS company. Dumb CVS.

She got mad, irritated, or simply impatient for whatever reason -- the store was completely dead mind you -- and had another employee come take my picture and turned around and was mocking me and laughing with the other employee before giving the camera over.
