I have to preface this by saying that, in general, I love H-E-B. It is by my far my favorite…read moregrocery store in the whole country after having lived in New Jersey and North Carolina. However, this is the worst H-E-B I have shopped at, and by far, my least favorite location. Maybe it's just the location, and the lack of space, but every time I go to this store, it feels like the day before Thanksgiving. There's hardly ever a time when the parking lot is not jampacked. As far as the store itself, it is just way too small and with narrow aisles, which is generally not the norm at most H-E-B's. Even though this location is the one closest to where I live, I have decided that I will never ever shop at this location again, no matter what. It is just way too compact and way too crowded. Every time I try to push my cart forward, someone crosses in front of me and I have to stop ... and then the person behind me tries to run me over with their cart. I end up having a miserable experience every single time.... ...and don't even get me started on the cashier/checkout situation. If you have more than 10 items, you're forced to go to a checkout lane with a cashier. Very often, there's only one or two cashiers available, which means waiting in line for an extended period of time. Thus, I have decided that I will shop at the locations in Cedar Park or on University Boulevard (RR) from now on. Even though it will be somewhat of an inconvenience to drive to those locations, I know that the superior shopping experience will make it worth it. I really want to give this location just one star, but I can't - I mean, it's still HEB.

Coleslaw is fresh and crisp. Great flavor. My friend got Rudy's massive baked potato, which was loaded with pulled pork on top, brisket chuncks, cheese and sour cream. The potato was just massive. What a frustrating experience at their car wash. If you use a code after buying gas, probably okay…read more But do not try using a card. It asks some YES or NO questions, but there are no YES or NO buttons. Too bad a business owner cannot be bothered to make equipment work correctly, or at least post a sign stating that it doesn't work. It looked like those two buttons had been removed. Unfortunately, this was an embarrassing circumstance, as I ended up driving through without getting a wash.
