Today was not a good experience. Went to pick up my son's medication and when I got home I noticed they gave us amoxicillin but it's powder, both bottles. So when I called she said oh we forgot to mix it up you have to bring it back. It's freezing cold outside so now me and my sick child have to leave out again. Also there are no measuring cups with any of the medications we received. read more

The personnel are not trained to be customer friendly! Too many other places to spend my hard earned money. It was an imposition for the cashier to wait on me. No smile. No greeting. No thank you. I know why this place has such a low rating. Everything under lock and key. Not a great shopping experience or atmosphere. read more

This is my local CVS, and it's been quite some time since I've visited.. I saw the reviews and was pretty skeptical, but I was just picking up a prescription... The store was clean, although not well stocked.. The front-end associate was stocking when I entered and spoke once he saw me.. Now let's talk about the pharmacy.. I called yo see if the 3 prescriptions were ready yesterday. Although they had been submitted 24 hrs prior, I was told to come around 4:30.. That time didn't work for me yesterday, so I went past today.. The pharmacy tech that greeted me was very nice and efficient.. she made me aware that she didn't think my medical card was on file.. I was asked to move to another window where I was greeted by the Pharmacist Fabrice.. Let's wrap this up and say - if I can help it..I'll never go back.. Very rude & aggressive.. it was as if I agitated him by being there.. read more

I called the pharmacy 3 times. The first time, I waited on hold for 10 minutes. I called back and used a different set of menu choices to get to the pharmacy...and waited 6 minutes. I called the main store and asked to be transferred to the pharmacy...and waited 6 more minutes before hanging up. That's over 20 minutes without ever talking to anyone in the pharmacy. What. Is. Going. On?!?! read more

I had a prescription filled in December 2022 w/1 refill remaining. The label stated the prescription had be filled by December 2023. I called the pharmacy to get the refill and they tell me the refill is invalid!!! I hate going to this pharmacy. 1. You spend at minimum 45 minutes in the drive thru. 2. Once at the drive thru window, I never saw the person, but through the speaker the make voice asked if I was there to pick up or drop off, name etc. He then gave me the total. 3. Once he appeared at the window he slid the tray out to collect the payment, did his thing, put the prescription in the tray to slide it out back to me and walked away!!! No greeting, no thank you for your patience.....NOTHING!! This is typical in this day and age!!! Customer service is a blast from the past!!! read more

Once again today I called the CVS Pharmacy located 5603 Baltimore National Pike, Baltimore, MD 21228 store #4079. I called to inquire about this message & waited for 29 minutes and no one picked up the phone to say please hold...nothing; therefore, I hung up the phone. I immediately called again but I decided to say the providers prompt and low and behold a female answered that had an African, Jamaican or Trinidad accent. I asked, "Who am I speaking too?" Her response was, "pharmacist!" I then asked, "What is your name?" She responded, "pharmacist! This line is for providers! So why are you calling?" I then responded, "I was on the phone for 29 minutes and not no one picked up but I'm recording this call..." The person then slammed the phone down in my ear. This should be grounds for disciplinary action. I refuse to let these wicked people run me away from this pharmacy. People like this should NEVER have jobs dealing with the public. This was rude and unprofessional to say the least. Look at the screenshot that I provided via mobile app. I was asked to call. Of course we all know that the all mighty pen is mightier than the sword. I called and filed another complaint to the District Manager Brian Brusoe & the CVS complaint line (800)746-7287. read more

CVS Pharmacy - The grate is closed at 3pm and they turned away lots of customers. They close whenever they feel like it. Lunch 1:30 to 2:00p - Drugstores Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

This has one of the worst Drive-Thru medication picks up. They take like almost a 2hr break and closed on the inside also. Then it takes almost an hr in the Drive-Thru to pick up medicine. If you don't like your job apply for another one. Should have better customer service an training for their employees. Some of them have attitudes. read more

My doctor faxed over a new prescription twice and I tried on Friday and put my phone on speaker and waited 1 hour to see if they received it as nothing showed on my app. So today I tried again to call as nothing had changed on my status. On the speaker again and hung up after 45 minutes. I have to start the medication before surgery on Tuesday. On Monday morning I will be there in person to get help. This will be the last time I will be there read more

I am reviewing because there seems to be SOOOO many critical reviews about this pharmacy. I moved around here almost a year ago and changed my CVS pharmacy to this one. I have not had any issues. They have filled my RX within 10 minutes of dropping off and they have also informed me when they were backed up and it would take a bit. You can't expect IMMEDIATE service when they are backed up. Just because there aren't patients standing in line - doesn't mean they don't have work to do. read more

Location: On the corner of Rt 40 and I believe Johnny Cake Road right across from Mr. G's. So, my only reason to review is because of its whole 24 hour vibe. So y'all should know by now, I am a horrendous allergy sufferer, and DOH I forgot that I ran out of meds. Well CVS to the rescue! A quick stop before going to work will definitely do the trick. People in here are friendly enough, I'm not sure if it was too early, (it was about quarter til 8a), but it just didn't appear as though the sales associate was too thrilled to help me out. Ah well. It's still 24 hours. If I'm ever in a pinch, I'll be back. read more

Everytime I go here... No fail... It's the longest line ever. Whether they have 6 workers behind the counter or 2...no matter what time of day..they forever run the same...backwards and slow. The people are nice enough but they need someone to train on efficiency. At this point it's my fault because I keep returning. However, the convenience of transferring prescriptions over from State to state is easy and helpful due to the amount I travel. And literally, this is the only CVS that I have an issue with. read more

I wish I could take away stars the Pharmacy don't even deserve 1 bloody . The pharmacy is terrible and waste our family's time. You can have a prescription sent in but the staff will loose it. They are very good at covering by saying "Your prescriptions isn't ready yet but will be soon" or "We need just a few more minutes to finish your prescription up." (because 8 hours isn't long enough). I know they lost it because by the I get the prescription in my hand and walk to my car we get a text message from the CVS app saying it's ready for pick up. I should have gotten this alert hours ago. We're stuck because our insurance requires any medicine we get for than 3x to get at CVS but it's just a shame they can't fix the store. read more

The cvs pharmacy located at 5603 Baltimore National Pike, Catonsville Md has the worst employees. If you call, don't waist your time because they either don't answer or answer and hang right up. They are Ssoo unprofessional and they really should be investigated by the board of pharmacy. They over there playing God with people's lives, holding their medications and they make so many mistakes. I hope i will never have to deal with them again read more

Store 4079 5703 Baltimore National Pike - After calling Monday- Friday and being give one excuse after another I visit the store today to pick up a prescription for my 90 year old parent. At the drive through I was told my parent's profile at no time ever listed a prescription for high blood pressure. I went home got the empty prescription bottle and went back. The young lady who wait on me remembered me and when she started to tell the male in navy scrubs he cut her off saying "I don't have time for the tell her to go to drop off. The fem in the white lab coat ask for the patient information and asked me when would I like to pick it up. I told her I would wait and she said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I went back to pick it up where I was told again that the did not have any prescription refills for the patient. I said I was just here and I talk to her. the female in the white lab coat got the patient information in and said we don't have that medicine in stock i thought we did but we can order it and it will be should be ready for pick up Monday after 5:00. They lie all week about and I don't believe they will have it Monday. My parent will have to go the week without their prescription not because we didn't request a refill in a timely manner but because the people that work in that pharmacy are rude unethical liars. I will be changing pharmacies first thing Monday morning. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever encountered. ive been going through health problems and had to get various prescriptions this week, and every time there is a problem. they wont take paper perscriptions given by the ER, (even the ER was confused as to why)I had to call the ER and have them send it electronically and they still only filled out one of two that were sent over. and now they are having "issues" with my anxiety medication, had to send it back to my doctor or whatever. I have never had so much trouble at any store ever! and as someone who has issues with anxiety that affect my heart and can cause fainting spells from panic attacks, i find it completely unexcusable that my doctor said the medication should be ready for pick up yesterday and yet the pharmacy didnt even send it back to them till today! they did not even look at it when it originally came in! and my doctor didnt even know that it was sent back when i called them today! this should have been taken care of yesterday and yet it took me going in person and calling multiple times to try to figure out whats going on for them to finaly say something! this place would get negative starts from me if that was possible. read more

8 times out of ten you get a pharmacy tech with an attitude or they act like they don't want to work there. Phone service sucks and they are slow even when there isn't a long line. If you have new or different insurance and your prescription is already ready they have to re-run/re-process your prescription well this means if you were already in line you now have to go and stand in another line to re-explain and wait. It is ridiculous..the whole process of standing in one line only to be told go to another line after the fact just makes it even worse. Bottom line get people that want to work, like their job and have customer service skills. read more

The night time pharmacy staff move like snails. The drive up window was broken so I had no other choice but to go inside. I stood in line for 15 minutes before I decided to leave without my prescription. Overall, the staff here is nice and friendly. This rating is for the pharmacy only. read more

Just flat out incompetence from everyone that works at this location. Especially the blonde pharmacist. I've been buying insulin needles for my cat here for 2 years. No issues. Just cause she felt the script was too old she won't give them to me. I'm sorry lady, insulin isn't cheap out of pocket. I keep it till it's gone. read more

If you can go elsewhere, do so. They are slow and make lots of mistakes. No mistakes with the actual meds yet but only a matter of time. Example of the mistakes is telling you they don't have the prescription your doctor called to them twice. When you insist they must have it, oh yeah there it is. Happens there a lot. read more

This is location is one of the worst in customer service. There has not been a time when I have come into the Pharmacy that there has not been a problem. What makes the matter worse, no one ever apologizes for the inconvenience. read more

Literally the worst customer service I have ever received. My family is on vacation in Baltimore from Michigan when our 7yo daughter was stung by a bee (first time ever being stung); swelling & redness were almost immediate. Called our pediatrician who called in an antibiotic immediately to the closest pharmacy, which was - unfortunately - this one. Technician was rude and incompetent. She actually hung up on me at one point. Pharmacist agreed her behavior was awful but never actually apologized. It took five hours, two trips inside, and numerous phone calls to get a simple antibiotic. I'll never do business at a CVS again. read more

Idk what happened to this CVS. It used to be good. Some of the employees there are still great but some are not. Most issues are with the pharmacy. My fiance has throat cancer. This CVS was very close and like I said was good. If you know anything about cancer, it is awful. Numerous times the have not had the meds. so we learned to check to see if they had it first before leaving thinking it was being filled. This time we verified they had it. Was asked when did we want to pick it up. We asked if it would be ready and could we pick it up in half an hour. We were told yes. 45 minutes went by as we left to go to the bank and grocery store. We came back stood in line. The girl asked to help the next person. We stepped forward and she started her conversation with her co worker. She asked last name. It was given. She didn't understand him. Asked again. Still holding conversation with coworker. He stated it again and started to spell it. He knows he is hard to hear and understand since he had throat cancer. She turned from her conversation with her co worker and said...You need to slow your roll. So he handed her his insurance card so she could get the name. She went back to her conversation. Then turned and finally asked him to verify history birth date. Then said it isn't ready. Did we want it expedited? It will be about 30 minutes and she needs to check with the pharmacist to see if they even have it. We know you have it and gave extended time already. She walked over to one of the pharmacist would made a face and in a few minutes we had it. Gave us the bottle it comes in right off their shelf. So what was the wait for? And the rudeness of the clerk. I called and submitted a complaint. Got a call back from a private number. No reference to CVS. I returned the call and got an answering machine. Still waiting to get a call back. Going to Walgreens. At least they are nice even if they don't have something and you don't have to make several trips. read more

This is the second CVS pharmacy I have been to this morning. I have a killer ear infection and neither store had 3 of the 4 prescriptions I need. This is Saturday and I as actually asked if O could come back Monday (this was at the store on Edmundson in Catonsville.). This store had lees and is a similar experience. My insurance is CVS Care mark, so I have to come here. Now I have to go to Rite aid..... so annoyed. Oh and the prescriptions are poetry common. read more

Not so much about the store itself, it's about the pharmacy. The pharmacy is AWFUL! If you have to drop off or pick up prescriptions before work. Don't bother!! They will have you waiting FOREVER! Also will argue with you until you're blue in the face over a simple prescription that can be found on the shelves in the store. read more

I would rate them a zero but it does not give me that option. Customer serivce sucks to say it in a nice way. I have been on hold for almost a hour now. There is no way in hell that you are this busy. I would never come back to this location again ever. Id rather jump off the bridge then to come here again. It is one thing to have me wait on the phone but it is another thing to let me stay on hold for a hour just to get a prescription refill. That is all I want and you have me on hold for a hour that is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to say the least. I will be reporting this store. Good Day! read more
