This was my go to neighborhood pharmacy store until today! I had such a unbelievably horrible experience. Today i walked in for baby medicine for my son and the security tells me to leave as soon as i walk in, he gave me no chance to even ask why this is unbelievable i have never been treated this way. Also for the record i had a dam mask on, there was no absolute reason for this. STAY AWAY!!! I sat in the drive thru fro 20 minutes.The always VERY rude woman at the window told me it was not ready. It was called in on 1/10/19 by the doctor. When the pharmacy contacted me they said that they were putting them back on the shelf. I said I ONLY wanted the Ilevro.and would be in on Saturday. It was now $3.80 for less than an once of product, which was $1.25. It also was to be a generic. When I tried to call the pharmacy, I was hold for over 22 minutes. This is a constant issue. The pharmacy is always understaffed, and I have talked to 3 managers about the rude woman at the window. As I have spent a lot of money and wasted dozens of hours in long lines in and out of the pharmacy, and am now on hold with your customer serve phone line for 19 minutes, I am totally disgusted with CVS and it's operations. read more

Pharmacy needs to hire more. Not enough people working to fill prescriptions and our community is BIG, that rely on pharmacies close to home to be open 24 hrs but not have us wait TWO days for it to be filled. And by two days I mean I dropped it off yesterday 7 pm and the pharmacist told me they couldn't fill yesterday 'due to them being way too busy and in need to catch up' (BUT WHEN ARE YOU NOT BUSY?!?!) and now the next day waiting in line for 30 min to pick it up AT 7 PM! Had to come to this location to pick up an RX for my mom that other pharmacies didn't carry. The place was packed but the pharmacist filled the RX is 30 minutes for me knowing that I was sent there from another store. The store itself, UGGGGH! Dirty! The area and the parking lot, sketchy! Ladies, bring your man with you if you have one, thats all I have to say. They could use more workers or help in the pharmacy too, this is a very busy location and the pharmacist seemed overwhelmed. read more

I'm only giving them one star, if I could write a review without one I would!!! I just left this pharmacy because I took a prescription in to be filled and the girl at the counter said it was going to take an hour to fill. I asked why and she said because there's prescriptions ahead of you. I canceled it and came to the pharmacy in Burbank on Hollywood Way and the girl here asked me are you dropping off or waiting. I said waiting and she said we'll have for you in 10 minutes. That's how it should be!!! Sad I leave in Arleta and I have to drive all the way to Burbank to get my medicine!!!! This place is terrible. They are always ridiculously busy and understaffed --helping both customers waiting inside the store and driving through the window for prescription pick-up. I was put on hold for 15 minutes this weekend before I hung out. Took about 10 minutes to get help when I called back a second time and then I was hung up on before all of my questions were answered. This is horrendous customer service. Avoid this place at all costs. There are several pharmacies around this area that I'm sure would be more than happy to save you the headache. read more

The parking lot isone sore spot for me. I've had to stop by this location twice since my folks live close by and twice my car has been dinged. I should have known better. Way too many cars in that tiny lot. The store never has enough counter help and the photo lab sucks. Try the Walgreens up the street. So much bigger, more selection. Great cosmetics department ask for Maria (@Walgreens) Overall this CVS has probably seen better days. Now that the RX wait times are ridiculous because all the Express script stuff I'm happy to move all my prescriptions to a better and more practical pharmacy for me. read more

I don't know what's going on with this pharmacy but I have problem after problem!! The wait time both in the store and on the phone is ridiculous....at least 15 minutes every time. Orders forever being messed up, refills not being followed up on. I am constantly on the phone with them every time I need a refill authorization. I feel I'm doing half of their job for them. I've never worked in a pharmacy but there HAS to be a better way of running this one. There are far too many employees to be so backed up. read more

I've been coming here for probably over 10 years. It's not an ideal neighborhood. I'm 100% sure this place has been held up several times before because of the constant changes in their security format in the store. I've seen cop cars in front of the store several times over the years. It's not the cleanest CVS either. This place even caught some major fire damage before. And, there is Almost ALWAYS someone asking for money LITERALLY right outside their sliding door (homeless or otherwise). I thank God nothing has ever happened to me before. And YET, I keep coming here even though I've moved because I've gotten to know one of the workers here and it's actually a decent CVS where I know where almost everything is: Drinks, Tissues, Make-Up, Cough Drops, Ice Cream, Laundry Supplies, Magazines, etc. Plus, I'm a regular because there's a laundromat next door that is never really packed with people. Plus it's open 24 hours and the CVS nearest to me is not. Also, they have a better selection than the 24 hour Walgreens nearest to me as well. read more

Hate this pharmacy. Even after ordering online and receiving a confirmation that it's ready for pick up, my prescription is NEVER ready. On top of that, there is never any attempt at customer service or communication of a realistic wait time - 5 minutes really means 20 or 30. There is one younger pharm tech who is always pleasant and helpful, to both Spanish and english speaking customers. If not for the convenience of location, I would never come here. read more

And I don't know where to start, but I can tell you it's the lowest CVS you'll see because of the area, they don't care about the customers there, typical mentality of corporations "junkies and homeless around and mostly working to poor class people, more than enough for them". So.. Most of the workers are great, there is no bad employee there as far as I noticed in 2 years since I moved down the block. But I have noticed one thing, The Pharmacy is very busy they don't have enough employees, they pull cashiers out the register just to help out at the pharmacy. The store looks good sometimes but it could look like hell in minutes. The area has a drug problem, a lot of junkies around, I don't like my wife there alone at anytime of the day. Druggies wonder around stealing things and they don't try to hide it either they will look at you in the eye and give you the "what you going to do about it?!" Pharmacy has HORRIBLE customer service! One of the employees told an elderly lady in Spanish "What do you want now?" (Ahora que quiere). I had to argue with Evelia, who was rude to the customer I'm front of me, just to get my prescription. She said I had already gotten it filled at another location. I had to ask to talk to her supervisor for her to be told to call the other store and get it cleared up. Never coming back. read more

worst cvs pharmacy ive ever been to. DO NOT GET A FLU SHOT from here and the PHARMACY PHARMACIST AYOUB SUCKS!!! He doesnt prioritize the customer. he was the very first one who asked us what we're trying to get from pharmacy and we told him we were just trying to get a flu shot... we told him 3 times since he didnt hear the first time we said it. he directed us where to go and at that time we were the first and only one asking for a flu shot. he kept looking at us cause we were in line for a little while. he told us to go to the first window to get rang up for the flu shot. so we did. he was assisting a customer after we went to the first window. i understand he was helping a customer, he looked at us when we went to the seats we were told to fall in line to get the flu shot and we were told he will see us in 15-20 mins. we got rung up at 106pm we were waiting until 144pm and we were told he went to lunch because he "wasnt aware" of us needing a flu shot. so at 144pm we were told to wait until he fi ishes his lunch and he just clocked out too. I have an issue with the customer service the Pharmacy. This is the third time this incident has occurred. I refilled my prescription through the automated system over the telephone; I enter a pick up time and date. I come pick to pick up my prescription and its not ready. You would figure someone from cvs pharmacy staff would pick up the phone or text me asking i call to speak with pharmacist or tech to let me know my medication wasn't ready or available. I take the same medication and I've been coming here for eight months, you figure the staff would have some common sense to have in stock and clearly they don't. After I get my medication I am NEVER EVER coming to CVS. read more

Iv been to many cvs stores but this one needs serious work done! They need more employees to start off with. Pharmacy department definitely needs to hire more employees! They get frustrated with the amount of work they have and customers get frustrated by the amount of time they are wasting just to get their medicines. I didn't catch this cashiers name, but here's the receipt so it can help me get her FIRED! I walked to the register, she didn't even greet me. She just asked CVS card with a nasty attitude, she began the transaction and she for some reason asked me to hit the green button. I did just that, this girl had the nerve to roll her eyes at me and hit the screen witch had a green button as well. She said button not the screen, idiot. I then proceeded to tell the that she has a horrible attitude! She had the fucking audacity to say "I know I do". Who does this girl think she is! And why is she working as a cashier if she can't deal with customers. I asked for her manager which was right next to her and he did nothing! He just said "I'll take care of her" NO ! I am very upset. I would've jumped over the counter and took care of it myself if I would've know that the stupid manager wasn't going to take action with his worker. Save your sanity and go somewhere else!!!! I'm a professional driver and I needed a pit stop this evening and to get another drink. The 2 guys working there very rudely refused to unlock the restroom stating that it was in the pharmacy and the restrooms were closed. The restrooms are actually located in the back corner of the store aside from the pharmacy just after the breakroom. Thank goodness this was not an emergency for these guys truly did not care about anything other than themselves. I would never return to shop here for even a piece of gum. read more

I ordered my medication to pick up the day before. When I showed up at the pharmacy, the tech told me I have to wait for them to process my medication. There is a reason why people try to order medication on line in advance to avoid the wait time. But unfortunately, I still have to wait for them to do it. I would have gone to my regular pharmacy instead. I only ordered the medication here because it's close to my work and I can just get in and go. read more

This CVS Pharmacy sucks!! I dislike this CVS, I remember using this pharmacy years ago and it wasn't bad like it is now. First of all there's always a long line inside the pharmacy as well as the drive thru. Your prescriptions are never ready on time. I can never go and just pick up a prescription hassle free, it's usually something to do with my insurance information.They always find a problem related to insurance. Stay away from here. Idiots everywhere. Came in at 10:30 ish AM. They said return at 1pm. I arrived at 1:09, prescription want ready yet. They said return in 30 minutes. I didn't return until around 2:30, more than an hour later. Went thru the drive thru this time, the guy said still not ready. So I'm here t 5pm, drive thru AGAIN. This time the lady with stars behind her right ear says the register isn't working, I've got to come inside. So I come inside. After a 40 minute line, I find out 2 of my 3 presvriptions are ready, so here it's now 6:11 and I've still yet to get my last prescription. Oh, by the way the blonde lady at the indoor register said the drive thru register is working, and the lady with three stars behind her ear is full of shit. Don't rely on these idiots no matter what. They know how to fuck up your day. Literally. I'd do 0 stars if possible. Gonna need to smoke two cigarettes at once when I'm out of this idiot pit. Who licensed these idiots anyways?? read more

Solely a CVS pharmacy review up ahead: This place went from being OK, to bad to freaking shitty. I find myself here very often for their pharmacy. The pharmacy used to be reliable. They now seem extremely overwhelmed (I think because they are no longer open 24 hours). I have had the misfortune of either filling or picking up prescriptions and waiting 30 minutes at the least (after they've just looked you in thee eye and say "about five to ten minutes"). I don't know why but this place is always PACKED. There is only one person (don't know his name but has spiky hair) who is always helpful and always smiling. Everyone else seems stressed out and upset about how busy they are. They're probably understaffed...either way the automatic refills I have are NEVER ready on time and sometimes we get medicine automatically refilled when we don't need them.They have a drive-thru service which is useless. If you dare pull up to drop off or pick up at the drive-thru make sure you park your car and turn off your engine because they make you wait a very long time. This pace gets 2 stars because the store itself isn't that bad (aside from long check out lines). It's convenient cause it's open 24 hours but it ends there. read more

If I could give 0 stars to the pharmacy I would. The employee at the pharmacy desk was by far the rudest, most uncaring, inconsiderate person I've ever dealt with at a pharmacy. In reading any positive reviews about the pharmacy here, I would have to guess they are friends of the employees. One of my daughters prescriptions was not covered and I was not informed before arriving, I tried calling before going in and there was no answer within 20 minutes of hold time. The girl at the desk gave me zero information about this, she was very short... usually you are given the cash price or told they can reach out to the doctor to ask about an alternate medication but no, nothing. She told me there were no alternative medications. She acted like she hated being there. I then asked about the second medication and it still wasn't ready after about an hour and a half so I had them cancel the request. The pharmacy has a drive thru that should be open but was not because the lady said they were too busy but there was no line of customers waiting. I had my daughter with me fussy with fever from an ear infection and they could care less. I then called the doctor this morning and asked to send it to my usual pharmacy, Walgreens in Arleta and they had the first medication ready within 20 min and the second that was not covered being changed to an alternate prescription that is covered, which the CVS employee at the desk said didn't exist when I asked. CVS, although this location is not in the best area, customer service still matters when you are still making the same money off these customers as an upper class area!!! Hire better employees who aren't so rude and inconsiderate. read more

OMG!! If I could give -zero stars I would. This is the worst pharmacy in the valley!! They take forever to fill prescriptions and even if you buy over the counter meds, they still take hours to put the darn sticker on it!! Transfer your prescriptions to Walgreens on woodman and van nuys or anywhere but here!! And use GoodRx for discounts on prescription meds not covered by insurance. So you don't get ripped off by paying high costs on meds. read more

Came here every day for three day to pick up my prescription and each time I came back and they said it wasn't ready. Even though I got a call from them saying it was.
