This is probably THE *Worst* CVS pharmacy I've ever been to. You would think that I would receive better service on a relatively non-busy weekend morning, but alas, the pharmacists and technicians I spoke to were just plain unfriendly! The worst offender was probably the larger Asian lady who acted like I was a nuisance instead of a paying customer. C'mon girl, don't roll your eyes and give me that "holier-than-thou-attitude-because-I'm-the-pharmacist-who-holds-the-keys-to-your-medication" shit. The staff here are just amazing with their customer service. My go to CVS if your a couponer or want to save some bucks. Manager is super nice as well. They will help you find stuff that you need if their store is out. Kinda small store for being a "24 hrs" and self check out lane is missing. Hope they will get one soon. It will be easier and convenient for shoppers. read more

This is the worst place to go. If you want anything to get done you should just go somewhere else.. I went to urgent care and was told my pharmacy would receive my Rx. I went in to urgent care in the morning and went to cvs around 7pm . When I arrived they told me they didnt receive anything. When I called the urgent care the girl she seemed surprised. And stayed she will fax them again. Today again at 7pm I called cvs to see if my Rx was filed . And to my surprised they haven't received anything. The only reason I go to this CVS because it is the closest pharmacy to me since Savon's closed down. I have dealt with it for years, but after tonight's lack of security I am willing to drive to CVS in Monterey Park (and deal with that horrendous parking there) or go to Target's Pharmacy. I don't know if they fired the security or something because there used to be a security guy who would guard the front door. The past three visits (including tonights) there has been creepers in the store. I had a guy LAY down behind me while I was looking at hairspray, then FOLLOW me to the candy aisle which is front of the register. The employees just look away and when I ask for security, they nearly nod and walk away. One of the other customers nicely back that guy away from me. On top of that, if your skin tone is light or mediumish, you are not going to find any foundation here. The only color they have in stock on most days is fairest one and dark colors. I bought Olay before for my mom and it was expired, forcing me to drive to Rosemead to return it. The pharmacy is okay because they will tell you to eat the medicines with food. However, if your insurance changes your prescription to mail-order only, they will not inform you. You will come to pick up your "automatic refill" prescription and they will tell you to mail-order it (which takes about 2-3 weeks). That is horrible for people who need their prescription! I wish I could give it ZERO stars. We came here to get a prescription filled about an hour before they closed but they needed to call the dr to get approval. The pharmacist named HOWARD was EXTREMELY EXTREMELY rude. He didn't want to call, he was slamming things and huffing and puffing as he was doing it. The other customers in line had a look of disbelief on their faces. All I have to say is people come here to get prescriptions filled and it's already stressful enough. To have HOWARD huff and puff, slam things around, shaking his head does not make the customers feel any better. It's just sickening how he acted. This is not how a pharmacist should act towards people. We stood there in silence as we watched Howard's temper tantrum. Unbelievable. You'd have to think that if calling a dr set him off like this imagine what sets him off outside of his job. Poor poor customer service. Never have I ever felt so welcomed to shop at CVS. Upon walking in we were sincerely greeted like they were excited to have us there! They weren't fake but just the most helpful staff. Sometimes I think that chain stores like CVS, Safeway, etc. are just there and you don't expect above and beyond customer care, but my goodness this CVS definitely makes me want to come back and stay loyal! The pharmacy seems to be very unorganized. It's always a hassle trying to pick up the same prescriptions every month even though they're the same ones I pick up every month! They also have an automatic phone call that tells me my prescription is ready even when it's not. It's incredibly annoying. I will say that some of the people that work there do try really hard to help and have great customer service, but overall this place makes such a simple thing so incredibly frustrating to do. read more

I went to store 5047 today. The pharmacist was wearing a mask and gloves. Two other employees behind the pharmacy counter were not wearing masks or gloves. One of these two pharmacy employees wiped her nose twice with her bare hand and then handled my prescriptions. Then, I went to the front counter where two other employees were not wearing gloves or masks. Unconscionable. Very reckless, irresponsible and dangerous. I am contacting the NYS Coronavis hotline, the NYS Department of Health, the NYS board of pharmacy licensing, and the media. I was very, very angry at their negligence and malpractice. Going to transition from filling my prescriptions here and shopping in general despite how close I live to this location. Just as corrupt as my insurance company. Was paying $250 month through insurance for a medication for my daughter. Month after month they said "do you know the cost is $250 for this?". Of course I said yes because this medication is for my daughter. Mentioned this to our doctor and he flipped out. All I had to do is get a GoodRx coupon and purchase without insurance for $35/month! Are you kidding me? They said nothing month after month as I was paying $250 each time I went in struggling to pay for this. Took coupon and prescription to Ralphs and getting 3 months or $75. I am a transplant patient and need anti rejection medication every day. Insurance switched to CVS this year. Every prescription is a battle to get filled. Took over an hour on the phone for each of my anti-rejection meds filled, then when I went to get a refill, they cancelled one order without telling me and delayed the other prescription by a week because they were "too busy". Horrible customer service at this pharmacy. I have talked to three different staff members there - and they were ALL rude. I went there to pick up my prescriptions. And when I got there, they told me that I was not able to buy my medications because the pharmacist was out to lunch - even though my medications were all processed and ready to be picked up. They said that I had to wait 30+ minutes for the pharmacist to come back if I still wanted to my medications. Really? This place is filled with BAD ATTITUDE staff. My experience with the pharmacy department is not good. I give them a one-star rating b/c as I observed the workers working, they are very unprofessional. The completed prescription bags in baskets are all disorderly thrown in (looks worse than my messy car trunk). I witnessed the worker tossing the bag he had just finished into the basket, which seemed to imply he didn't care much about it. Of course I did an online complaint to CVS over a month ago but have not heard anything back. Other people are right about their shitty customer service. I came by yesterday around 12:30 to dropped off my prescription and they said it will be ready at 3. Okay.... I understand if it's really that busy so didn't really mind coming back. However, when I came back and my prescription was incomplete. I realized that one medication was missing after I received it and opened the paper bag. I went back and the girl told me that they don't have the drug and don't know when they will have it. She said she have check other cvs but she doesn't have time right now cause the pharmacy was busy... Seriously??? You guys had 2 and a half hours to fill my prescription and didn't even let me know that one of my medication was not available until I went back. So I asked if I have my prescription back, and she said no. I was only able to get a copy of it with a cvs stamp and "COPY ONLY" written over it. I went to another pharmacy but they said they can't accept my prescription if it's already filled. I would have to either bring the original one or get a new prescription. I just wished cvs told me that they don't have all my medications when I dropped it off so I could have took it somewhere else. But they didn't tell me until I came back and told them that I was missing part of my medication. I advise you yelpers to take your prescription to Lucky Pharmacy down the street instead, the staff there are nicer and it only took them 10 mins to fill my prescription. read more
