We walked right in and were immediately greeted. There wasn't a wait, so my son was able to get started right away. Everything written is just my opinion and what I saw while being with my at this place. The wife has gone here a few times and thought they did a good job. But she has gotten into coloring her hair a very bold color. She decided to see if she could get them to do the job for her and brought along a box of the dye. She knew they may or may not be able to use what she brought in, and that was fine and maybe they would have something close. The first lady looked at her and said you know that this is basically fabric dye? She then called another employee over who said by using that type of dye, none of our dyes will properly work and I am not comfortable using a bleach on your hair..... The dye she brought in clearly said no bleach hair dye kit. Neither were very friendly in my opinion and the wife just figured they just didn't want to do the job. She went to to another salon and told them what happened. The lady laughed a little and said we can't use someone elses dye, but that is not fabric dye and I have no idea where that thought comes from. She then showed my wife a color that closely matched. She bleached her hair and did a very thorough job of applying color. The wife was beyond pleased. read more

A little over a year ago I went to this hair place to get a quick hairstyle. The recent reviews looked decent and I came in as a walk-in. I got sat down pretty fast but the place was pretty empty so that is not saying much. I asked for a 1-inch hair cut with long layers which was popular at the time and something similar was displayed on the website so I assumed this would be an easy request. I walked out with uneven layers that looked completely random and had to go in the next day to get it fixed, something I have NEVER had to do before. Even after it was fixed it was still far from what I asked and did not even look good. This was such a bad experience that I waited a whole year to get it cut again because I trusted no one with my hair. Flash forward to today. I needed a new haircut quickly for my dance showcase the next day. This time, I went to a different stylist and made sure to correct any mistakes I saw to prevent mistakes. I came home and YET AGAIN the style was messed up. I asked for a 1 INCH cut and it was completely slanted. I did not realize stylists could not cut a straight line. The stylist even checked again to make sure it was good and still did not fix it! I am so disappointed in this management and do not even feel like returning for it to get fixed because I know it will still look bad. To those reading this, I would go anywhere else before coming here again and I 100% do NOT recommend it. I truly hope that the stylists learn how to cut hair and don't make this mistake again. I have always been picky about who cuts my hair...Well my old hair dresser was just too far away after we had moved, and I was also looking for a place that was open on a Sunday. My husband and daughter always went to Cuts By Us, so I figured I'd give them a try. The first thing I asked when I walked in is if they were any good with curly hair. They said yes, and they weren't lying. . Celeste cut my hair EXACTLY like I wanted it. She was super easy to talk to and I didn't feel rushed or out of place. Totally professional place and the prices are really good! I went back to Celeste to have my color done and I've referred everyone I can think of to go. It's pretty awesome when you can take your whole family to one place to get their hair done! I would recommend anyone to go see her or ck them out! I'll be going back for another cut soon! A gentleman named Louie cut my hair. My hair was long and one length. I needed a change. I asked Louie to cut my hair short about shoulder length with layers throughout. Louie did exactly what I asked for. He did an excellent and exceptional job! He was very thorough, took his time, and showed me the back of my head with a mirror so I could see the way my hair was laying. He will definitely cut my hair again! Thanks Louie! read more

I was hating on my hair and happened to walk past this Cuts By Us on my way to Publix. Sign said walk ins welcome so I walked in. 30 minutes later I was walking out with rockin hair. I regret not getting the name of the stylist because she did a great job, got my hair all trimmed up and looking good. It was just what I needed-and fast without spending a lot. read more

Cheap salon; cheap service. You get what you pay for and they are very slow. No stars. I put my name on their list and waited 40 minutes only to have them take a customer who walked in 35 minutes after I checked in. Rude service and equally rude customers. Apparently short is the new long! I told my stylist that I like my hair at the top of my my eyebrows, over the top of my ears and to leave it thick. First thing she does is trims the sides of my head to half an inch, then she lops off the front of my hair to match, about an inch above my eyebrows, all while joking about how bad barbers are about cutting hair short. Oh but she wasn't done, out came the thinning scissors! My hair is so short now it won't even lay down, and on top of that she asked if I was going to tip her. If you're thinking about leaving your barber to try this place, take my advice and go get the same haircut your barber has given everyone else for the past 50 years. I had a horrible experience last week with an older man by the name of louie vial or vlal. I was alone in the salon with him and a mid aged man with a beard that I guess worked there immediately when I got in the chair he starts pushing his big old belly into me and was so close he was literally breathing on me. so I immediately I scooted forward. It was inappropriate. and he meant it to be. I did not know what to do but I was disgusted by him, he started touching my hair all weird like running his fingers through my hair. I just wanted out of there but having my sons military graduation to attend- I really needed to get my hair fixed, His demeanor was creepy the whole time and at the end he did not charge me- but asked for a hug instead, I was so scared realizing it was just me alone there I gave him a pat on the back and moved toward the front of the salon where the windows were. Worse of all I contacted corporate without a response. I told them it was all on the surveillance cameras. them fearing a sexual harassment law suit I'm guessing deleted the video as what else am I suppose to believe at this point. It's to bad b/c prior to this I had a great gal named celeste cut my hair and she was great. now I feel I cannot go back to the salon due to telling on this weirdo. what happened was completely inappropriate. I just hope there are not other women or children whom are not reporting this person. I learned I will never let a man cut my hair ever again, unless he is gay. read more

Today I went there and it had a sign that said $12.99 for adult haircuts and when we went to check out they said that we had to pay $26. We waited one hour and it only took 10 minutes to cut my hair. I think that because I am foreign that she charged me so much. read more
