I am in love with this company! I am a new mom to 2 six month old kittens and I wanted them to stay in their own environment. I emailed CutiePaws and set up my meet and greet. DeDe was so great, she even had a bit of catnip on her shoe. She got right on the floor and let them come to her. (My babies can be a bit shy). Told her what I needed and that was that. I was gone for 2 long weekends and since they are still babies I had her come twice a day. She was fabulous. She sent me tons of pictures and they looked so happy. Cayla, Heather and Dee Dee have always been there for us - we were delayed in travel a couple days by weather up north during the holidays but one text to CutiePaws and Dee Dee was there for us. A horrendous experience! I had CuitePaws pet sit for my dog and 2 cats. I came home at 9 pm after being away for 17 days and there was dried up dog poop in the corner of the room, urine everywhere of various ages, including two places on the wall and baseboards, and tiny bits of paper everywhere. The newspaper was still in the driveway. My new hardwood floors are stained and will have to be refinished. It is not clear if the pet sitter came as often as she was supposed to. The owner has not returned my phone call, although she did respond by e-mail. I have canceled all my future appointments with them. I have never had such a terrible pet sitting experience and I am concerned about what my pets had to endure. read more

Where to start? Horrible. Heather set me up with a sitter named Tina. At first all was good, they had accepted my late request for care of my three dogs. Two seniors, one deaf with cancer and who has difficulty standing on her own. My dog was in no condition to be boarded. I would not have left her if it wasn't an important family event. Tina was still at my home when I came in and despite mentioning the poop (dried and cold) in a bedroom she left without cleaning up. Then I found dried urine in my closet, diarrhea spots in my bathroom and diarrhea in my shower. In the sick dogs room there was urine, clumps of her hair everywhere, she was wet and one leg was very fatigued and she was holding it funny. I made it very clear that someone should be in my home every three to four hours. I voiced my opinion on this again when they outlined the number of visits but they assured me it would be enough. She complained of the urine smell. The mop was dry and the other supplies for cleaning were untouched. Yes, it's going to smell if the dog has accidents you don't properly clean. Yes, she smells of urine but at her age and condition we do not bathe her every time she has an accident. I contacted Heather she did not respond and still hasn't. All Tina did was avoid accepting any responsibility and lay all blame with me. I made one mistake - I did not change my sheets before rushing out the door. I accepted responsibility and apologized but I cannot say the same for Tina. I paid $310 for their services. Two overnights and three full days. I paid $9 more per visit than I pay my usual sitter - she was also out of town. I was upfront with Cutie Paws and hid nothing about her condition but they failed to make my pets and me comfortable and cared for. I have a lot of cleaning to do today....great Labor Day. read more
