Not only is he great on leash now, he has passed his Canine Good Citizen test with flying colors- all thanks to John. I have 3 dogs in total, and all of them adore John. Had the opportunity to speak with John Anthony on the phone about my dog and he was able to guide me through my situation and give some great advice. I have a German Shepard & Pitbull Mastiff mix and he has severe separation anxiety. I've tried everything in the book from cbd to trying to detach to exercising him a lot. He has tried several attempts to break into the house, since he is an outside only dog, and just wants to be I inside. Unfortunately we are not able to have him inside, so this along with some other factors has caused him to have severe separation anxiety. John advised that I try positive reinforcement rather than detachment and we have seen great results! He recommended that I make his kennel a safe place and always make sure my dog knows the kennel means well. He now eats in his kennel, receives treats in his kennnel, and understands it is a place of comfort and not punishment. We are going to continue taking Johns advise and giving him positive reinforcement rather than trying to punish his behavior he can't control. Thank you John Anthony for the help!! read more

I have a 19 week old German Shepard, and we are trying to socialize him, he is very timid and shy... we had a rough experience at a dog park for his first "socializing" he helped me immediately when i was so torn on what to do next because Roman was so scared, and overwhelmed with too much stimulation. He gave the best advice to take him back to the dog park, 750ft away, but not in the "park" with a treat in hand but placing it between your third eye center so he will have confidence and look you in the eye. We did this, it took him a few tries of competitive motions, but the next day, and today we took him around Greenlake almost 3 miles, and he was strolling with confidence, even day 2 of the walk he started approaching other "big" dogs which he was terrified at the dog park 2 days prior. Thank you Anthony, you are amazing and really helped us! Think we might do a virtual training here in the near future!
