On Friday, December 22nd, 2023 I had the most horrific experience with my Dog Dallas. I took him to Rexy and Roxy's Buckhead, to get groomed at 7:30am. I was VERY specific online in the profile that I had to create, as well as in person the morning that I dropped him off, that I ONLY wanted the hair around his eyes and butt trimmed. When I arrived to pick him up at 3:30pm that afternoon, after just having a 90 minute full body massage, I was a bit out of it, and was in shock when I saw Dallas. He had been shaved down to his coat!!!! I was rightfully upset and expressed my concerns to the SUPER unprofessional, Manager, on duty! She did not apologize nor refund my money. I went the next day, and showed the SUPER unprofessional attendant, "Deshawn '' and he took photos of Dallas and asked me to "give him a few minutes" so I stepped outside. I came back in and he said that he called "Mia" and she said "you were rude yesterday" and he could not do anything. I was only "rude" AFTER she was blatantly nonchalant with regard to what they DID to my dog. It is WINTER and they (Courtney Fields) took all his fur off and WITHOUT my approval. So much so that his ears are no longer covered, and his sweaters DO NOT FIT HIM. In addition the cut IS VERY uneven, especially around his eyes and neck. My poor baby. Mia is incredibly rude and they have not issued my refund. I have attached before and after photos of my dog as well as the filth that was around the front office area. SO DIRTY!!! If I requested a FULL refund of $66.00 by the end of business on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023, and have not heard from anyone. DO NOT GO HERE! I am going to file a civil complaint in Fulton County if I do not get my FULL refund. read more

This place was SO nice. Aja and Rowdy took such wonderful care of my pup Rusty and were SUPER professional and nice. I thought the facility was absolutely beautiful too. Rex & Roxy's is awesome!! My dog has boarded here twice so far, and I'm looking forward to bringing her for some daycare playtime too. My dog has some separation anxiety and every other place she's stayed, when I check the webcam all I'd see is her moping in a corner. At Rex & Roxy's she looks so happy! I love that the dogs have easy access to indoor/outdoor areas, rather than just having scheduled outside time. It was so fun to watch the webcam and see my girl so comfortable, tail wagging, engaging with other dogs and getting pets from staff. It's refreshing to see staff members who really care and seem happy to be there, I think it makes all the difference in the world. We LOVE Rex & Roxy's!!! Can't say enough good things about this place! It is clean, the staff is extremely friendly, and they have cameras!!! We take our 2 year old GSD, Deuce, at least 2 days a week and he loves it! All big dogs so he fits right in! They allow the dogs to have nap time, and in the summer they have kid pools for the dogs to cool off. We have a few dog daycare spots right around the corner from us, but we drive the 15 min to go to Rex & Roxy's because we love it so much!!!!!! Shout out to Bonita who is absolutely amazing!! My dog just started going to Rex and Roxy's, and we both love it! They have cameras so I can watch him while I am work. My co-workers even like checking in on him. I also love that there are two seperate buildings for the petites and the big dogs. I know that Petie will always be with dogs his size. When I took him yesterday for a day of play, there were probably only 20 dogs there. I was so pleased that it was not a huge crowd, and felt like Petie received some really great attention. Rex and Roxy's is the only boarding/playcare facility I send my dog to. The entire staff is caring and attentive toward the pups. This is evident in the verbal and written feedback you get when you pick up your dog. Additionally, you can watch your dog throughout the day which is always a fun distraction. We have recently been using Rex and Roxy's a lot since we are in the process of selling our house, and it is fantastic knowing I don't have to worry about my little lady. She had blossomed socially since coming to R & R and is a more confident and happy dog. The facility is super clean and never smells. Thorough dog baths can be included for an extra fee. The staff are friendly, fun, and attentive of all my dog's personality traits. It is clear that every single person working here absolutely adores dogs and I have seen them treat every single one as if it were their own. My dog is the best reviewer for Rex & Roxy's. He goes completely bonkers every time I grab his collar in the morning and say, "Let's go to daycare!" Once my car turns onto New Street, he becomes very excited. He is always overjoyed to barge into their lobby and run down the hallway to the play area. He comes home every evening exhausted. Almost every day I get an update from the staff on cute and funny things my dog did that day. All the staff know him very well. This level of attention for both me and my dog keeps me coming back. I used to take my dog to another doggie daycare close by, but after some concerns with that old place, I switched to Rex & Roxy's and I have not regretted it for one second. I have been taking my dog to Rex and Roxy's for the last 4 years. It is by far the nicest place to board your dog or take your dog for a "day of play". Any dogs first visit, they do a doggie temperament test confirming that the dogs will get along with each other. They check for fleas so your dog never comes home with "unwanted pest". They also check all vet records ensuring that all dogs have updated shots. Recently, it was time to have my dogs shots updated and they took my dog to the vet, had her shots updated and gave her a bath all in the same day before I came to pick her up. The people at Rex and Roxy's genuinely "care" about you and your dog. This is almost impossible to find anywhere else in Atlanta. I am moving soon to the Perimeter area and they are located in Decatur. Rest assured, I will always take my dog to Rex and Roxy's for boarding and doggie day care. We love Rex & Roxy's. We are fostering a big puppy named Presley, and needed to get him some more exercise. We brought him to Rex & Roxy's, as it is recommended by Animal Action Rescue, the rescue we work with. Presley loves his time at playcare. He can't wait to get in the door in the morning. The people who work there are helping us get him adopted by taking beautiful photos and posting his photo on their FB page. We watch him on the cam, and can tell he loves the other dogs and the people who take care of him. I can't recommend them enough. read more

UPDATE 07/05/16 Wow. I am astonished by the lack of communication and professionalism here. A snarky, green-haired employee (Brittany) sent me a message (using the management teams' names, yet the owner had no idea it even happened) asking me to "reconsider" my review and combatted every single claim I made rather than attempting to satiate my dissatisfaction as a regular, paying customer. What the hell happened to the age-old "the customer is always right" saying? Additionally, the owner wasn't even aware that the employee made such an unprofessional move- yet another red flag of the lack of communication here. When our pup was picked up today, the owner told my SO that she didn't make comments or messages on Yelp? #clueless Not to mention their outright lying and outlandishly immature and unprofessional comments! (See below). If I was any prospective customer, even seeing the facility regarding a customer in such a manner is quite the red flag. There's more...I was left a pretty disgusting voicemail where they even were trying to throw attorneys in the mix? Personally, I found the "attorney" move HYSTERICAL- as I am a law student and I know that I am protected by my first amendment right to freedom of speech!! Additionally, let it be known that nothing in this post is slanderous or of malice intent. I am sharing my true experience and sentiments, as is intended by the format of Yelp! Needless to say, we parted ways. Not because of my dog in anyway (I have voicemail from Brittany explicitly citing that Titus was not the problem), yet comments below want to say that my dog was let go because of "rough play". It makes me sick to see that they are using a dog as a pawn in their scheme here, where they supposedly "care" about their dogs. We were never, EVER, not a single time, notified of ANY behavioral issues in ANY capacity!! The only mention we got was that he could use basic training, as he is a puppy and can be somewhat hard-headed. If this was really the case, wouldn't it have been noted in the required temperament test, which he did indeed pass?! Not to mention, our guy is the biggest cuddle monster on the planet & is beyond super friendly, four-legged and two-legged beings alike. Do I sense some breed stereotyping here? I will stand by my sentiment that Titus never was, never will be, and never could be the "bully" he has been portrayed and frames as by this disgusting facility. Pit Bulls are already falsely stereotyped all day long--such a loving breed doesn't deserve to be used as a tool to disprove another's sentiments! I am disappointed by their attempted coverup of a truly substandard experience :( They are not willing to accommodate you, nor do they care about your business. We're on to better places! You should be too. If you're stumped as to who's side to believe, let the whole ordeal be enough of a red flag---STAY AWAY! ------------------------------------------------ At first we were really happy sending our 2 year old pit mix here, but after a couple months we were not on board with changing policies and didn't feel as though our dog was being treated as well. The policy regarding naps (which are from 10:45-2) is not only excessive, but the drop off rules working around nap time is a huge nuisance. We have used to two other day cares in the past where daily rates were comparable ($20 range) and they were not created for 3 hrs+. Today we picked up our dog and he had a large knot on his head and smelled of urine- changing providers needless to say. On the flip side, I will say that the employees have always been very cordial and really are familiar with your dog(s).The pools are a great plus in the summer. We wanted to like this place, but after multiple visits where we encountered a problem each time, we have decided not to return. The first time, we were overcharged, so I brought it up, but they explained that they would not refund or apply a credit. We did not argue since it was under $10. More importantly, the apparent apathy of the front desk staff concerned us. They never gave us a report of how our dog responded to staying there unless we asked specific questions and a lot of them, and even then they seemed taxed by having to answer. The last time we went, our dog came home acting odd and then became quite ill. Several days later, our other dog, who did not stay there, became ill. We feel like we gave this place the benefit of the doubt during these visits, but we just can't justify returning when we add up these experiences. read more

Our puppy, Maple, has been going to Rex and Roxy's for about 3 months now. We have used the daycare and boarding services. She absolutely loves it. It's fun to watch the dogs play on the webcams. Every time I check the cameras she is happily running and playing with the other dogs. No matter how exhausted Maple is she will keep playing if surrounded by dogs. I'm glad they get a break around lunch so they can nap for a while. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The pricing is reasonable for the services. We've brought Jasper here several times for daycare and boarding. They take great care of the dogs and are some good people! I loved that they offered to show you the building, something a few other dog facilities have not offered. They have cameras for us to spy on our tail wagging buddy from work. My dog is semi-neurotic, and once after boarding her at a vet's office, I was told she was a nervous wreck & recommended to never board her in a kennel again. The next time I went out of town (& many times since), I tried Rex & Roxy's (petites), and she did wonderfully. Every time I call over and mention my dog's name, they immediately know who I am and seem excited to have her back. I absolutely love that I can watch the webcam during the day (probably a bit too much), and appreciate that she has play time with other dogs her size. In addition, there is always someone outside with them to give the more needy dogs (i.e. mine) some human attention. read more

Rex and Roxy's is the best. We're new to GA and our dog was getting bored just playing with two humans and a cat. I looked into a few different places but R&R seemed perfect, and they were. The guys here are awesome, you can tell they genuinely love dogs and my dog really loves being there. Four years ago, I adopted a GSD named Toby. Since I am a working mom, I did my research on daycares in our area. I am SO GRATEFUL that I landed on RnR's page. I started Toby there the day after I got him and he stayed there until the day he was gone. He knew where we were going when we turned onto New Street and would get so excited! I could never imagine being able to trust any else with my fur baby. While Toby was sick, they went above and beyond to make him comfortable during the day and when he passed on, the staff at RnR cried with me. They loved him just like I did :) Today, I have a mix named Millie who loves RnR as much as Tobes did. They are an amazing staff...Julie, Kenny, Aja, Brittany...we love them all so much. It saddens me to see the review on here that refers to the staff (especially Brittany who really is so sweet!) as unprofessional. As a very loyal, very happy customer of over 4 years, not one person there warrants the name 'green haired monster' (although Brittany does have the most amazing green hair). As customers, we are not always right and sometimes we have to work with the company we patron to resolve issues. We brought our puppy to R&R (the side for small dogs) over the holiday when we left town. We were pretty nervous about leaving her because she was barely 5 months old and had never stayed anywhere or spent much time around other dogs. We were pretty happy with R&R. The staff are young and down-to-earth, yet clearly care alot about the dogs. When we took our pup in for her temperment test, they took good care of her and she came home happy and exhausted. During our holiday trip, she stayed there for 5 nights and we loved to check on her on the online camera (however, don't get too excited...the camera is slow and stationary so you might have to wait 15 or 20 minutes before you spot your dog in slow-motion). When we picked her up she didn't even want to come home! The staff member told us that she had made one particular friend, showing us that they really paid attention to the dogs. They followed our feeding and toy instructions and gave her an exit bath (although we were slightly annoyed that she was still wet when we got her even though we scheduled the bath early enough that they could have dried her...) All in all, I'd highly recommend R&R's for their reasonable rates, friendly staff, and safe environment. read more

We've taken our dog to several boarding/ day care facilities in the metro Atlanta area and even though Rex and Roxy's is the farthest away from us, we still take her there every time we need daycare or boarding. The staff is extremely friend and knowledgeable and very happy to do anything that will make your dog feel more comfortable. I always check in on the webcam when I take her there and I can see that Molly is playing with other dogs, drinking plenty of water, and getting lots of kisses and cuddles from staff members. The facilities are always very clean and I can see on the webcams that whenever a dog has an accident, staff workers clean up immediately so that other dogs aren't getting into it. Before I found Rex and Roxy's, I was always nervous about leaving Molly somewhere when I had to be out of town, but not any more. I know she'll be safe, well cared for, and have a wonderful time with her friends-- human and canine-- when she's at Rex and Roxy's. She always comes home tired and is always excited to go back! read more

I took my dog here a few weeks ago and was very disappointed. She came back scared and extremely upset. The people here could have cared less about her or me as a client. They do not strike me as true dog lovers. Avoid this place at all costs if you care about your animal! read more

If you do not mind your dog being put up in a cage for 3 or more hours in the middle of the day, then this will be fine for you. Personally, I can do that at home for free. The owner puts all the dogs up for this time period so she can send all of the workers home and save on the payroll. This is the only daycare in the area that does not have multiple webcams - this place has only one and this is so you cannot see your dogs when they are caged for so long. Also, the staff does not supervise very well. They are allowed to be on their cellphones and there is just one with over 50 dogs sometimes. A vet tech at a local vet office told me about a dog that came in after being attacked by 3 other big dogs and was hurt pretty bad. The part for the small dogs may be okay but the big dog side is not safe. read more

I love Rex and Roxy's! Not only are they the cheapest daycare I have found, they also are super friendly and my dog Oliver gets so excited to be there! Every time we pull in in the morning, he gets so excited and just can't wait to go inside, and every night when I pick him up he's super happy and ready to sleep the rest of the night! I love that they have webcams so I can peek in on him when I miss him, and I love that they have nap time because especially as a puppy, playing ALL DAY could be too hard on their little bodies. Also, all the employees know all the dogs within their first day playing with them. And Oliver didn't go for a few months, and when he returned the staff still remembered him and commented how much he had grown!
