New Years night was our first time here. Lots going on that night and glad we tried some food as well as drinks. Service was above and beyond. Our bartender was phenomenal and extremely kind and professional. Didn't catch his name but since quite a few regulars know him so well, I'd assume he will be there and loved by all who go. I'd say the lounge is best for drinks overall and the convenience of location. It's right by Rodeo Drive and in such a nice and walkable area. I had a pretty tasty drink, looked over the menu to find the name but it slipped my memory. Was champagne with a citrus twist and a sugar rim. Highly recommend. We got the hamachi which I also couldn't find on the menu. Also, we ordered the truffle fries and forgot to not only finish them but also take a photo but they were okay. Service was the highlight overall!

I'm giving this place 3 stars but I could understand people giving more. The atmosphere and service is great. The food is a bit disappointing. Only things I really really enjoyed was the spinach, souffle and double shot espresso macchiato. Spinach and espresso were best parts. Kebab was nothing special to me and surprisingly neither was dry-aged ribeye. Maybe I should have gotten porterhouse, or maybe steakhouses aren't for me since I'm often disappointed.

I went to a b'ness event at nearby Greystone Mansion, and the evening needed a boost. We ended up going to CUT Lounge for an afta party in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Its across from CUT Steakhouse. We ordered cocktails, but the ladies also ordered some food: Cheese and a grilled cheese sandwich. I wasn't hungry, but the ladies said the cheese was just OK, but the grilled cheese was amazing!: 3 Stars for the cheese, 5 Stars for the grilled cheese sandwich. Regarding the ambiance, its very bougee in here. Its a great place to take a date, before or after dinner, or, ahem, to close a deal (hehehe): 5 Stars. On the other hand, the service could have been more attentive. Nonetheless, our waitress stepped up her game as the night went on: 3 Stars. CUT Lounge is a fun place to start, or end an evening. The ambiance is impressive, and some of the food is excellent.

This place is sooo cute! It's very classy and elegant inside. We came here on a Friday night around 9pm, and it was open seating. There were a lot of open tables as it was pretty empty. It got pretty busy as the night went on though, and I'd say it was about 80% full by the time we left. Service was on point. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food: Great food worth its price. The food menu inside the lounge isn't extensive, but thanks to other Yelp reviews we were able to order things that were off menu. We tried the truffle fries ($22) which had generous portions of truffle. It was delicious! We also tried the sliders ($19) which had wagyu beef, I believe. We all loved it! We were also given some sort of edamame appetizer compliments of the chef, and it was great. Drinks: Drinks were a bit pricey ($19+) but hey it's Beverly Hills. The quantity is small, but it's pretty strong. We ordered about 5 drinks across 4 of us and we all liked them. Location: Inside the hotel. Had some trouble finding the place, but it's inside the hotel and right across CUT (the actual dining room). Overall spent around $180 including tips for some appetizers and drinks. Quite expensive, but definitely worth the price!

This is actually a pretty cool place to hang out. Located right next to The Cut by Wolfgang Puck restaurant, this I remembered used to be strictly a bar with miniature lounge chairs and tables. What I remembered was that it was for people that are waiting for their Cut restaurant reservations. People can chill and have a few drinks. That was 11 years ago. I recently went back and realized they separated this portion of the space and make it a cocktails/bar lounge. As you can see, those drinks are in a big oval glass that resembles an oversized wine glass. The one thing I noticed off the bat was they were offering a modify meal menu at this lounge where it was strictly a quick drinks or some nibbles on the menu in the years past. The modify menu does include several steak dishes, but not hard to get exotic steaks you could be ordering at The Cut. I think they changed it up so that they can get some hotel guests or tourists who couldn't get into the Cut without a reservation, but willing to take a gander on some dishes in the Lounge. I actually enjoyed a few of their drinks and love the laid back vibes that was not stuffy or pretentious as I thought it might have been a decade ago. Times change as it gets more competitive in dining circuits. You want to keep as many potential diners in your place as much as possible. This is one revision I am glad The Cut had made. Bravo on this.

Great lounge! Perfect spot for a date night that provides the lounge vibe with great drinks and full CUT menu. I have been to CUT several times but this was my first time at the lounge and now it's going to be my usual spot when wanting an elegant and comfortable vibe. The lighting was just perfect, dim but not too dark. Since we were in a date night, we wanted a more comfortable and intimate atmosphere but also wanted to indulge in a steak meal. Here you can order off the full CUT menu so we chose the caviar appetizer, steak samplers, brussels sprouts and baked Alaska dessert. The caviar appetizer was delicious, high quality caviar on a perfectly mild bun with cream fresh. The wagu in the sampler melts in your mouth. The baked Alaskan is a show.

We celebrated our last day for 2015 here with our friends! To be thankful healthy and happy together! This bar is just cool with good food and awesome drinks! Great place to get together and enjoy the night! It is expensive however, but then again you are in Beverly Hills and it's at the four season! So roll out and have fun! I always say yolo! Look at my pictures for food comments!

Lovely bar located inside Beverly Wilshire Hotel nestled next to Wolfgang Puck's Cut, Sidebar is a swanky hotel bar where you can enjoy a cocktail or two or three....(who is counting?) You get the amazing food from cut combined with insanely good cocktails in a relaxed environment. They have a nice selection of wines, with a knowledgeable staff to help you find the perfect one, as well as great cocktails. They also provide 'bar snacks' upon arrival supper yummy selection of spicy and salty goodies perfect balance for drinks. Side bar offers happy hour deals and worth trying out since cocktails are not cheap here. Happy Hours are Monday through Friday, 5pm until 7pm While it is a bit pricey, it is also an experience and a fun place to come with friends, on a date or for business drinks. The service is a very friendly and attentive.

Why do I always come back to #Yelp a bar or restaurant right after losing my babies - sadly this time, my 2008 #Audi A4 - the one I call #Audu got totalled four weeks ago :( Anyway, how ya'all been...yep it's been a cold minute but am back. #SideBar is my Friday wind down from a stressful week spot. I already have a #melancholy spot for the #BeverlyWilshire Hotel on account of my favorite movie EVER - #PrettyWoman being filmed mostly at that location but then, the ambience when I walk in, makes my stress fall of my shoulder. I usually get there after 9pm, so the DJ is playing my fav tunes already. Lately, the crowds not as packed as it used to be which suits me just fine but the quality is impressive. Made a few good biz and personal friends there. Sit at the bar, or the high chairs in the island or reserved couches in the lounge area and you still get a good view of the room. The cocktails are to die for! Seriously, they are so strong you just might...None of that watered down "you need glasses to find the alcohol in your cocktail" stuff. Yes they are pricey but hey, you in #BeverlyHills #90210, what do you expect! Being the teetoler that I am now, can only tell you what my dates say but they have a nice selection of #GingerBeers that I partake in. I love that even before you order drinks or food, they slide a tray of assorted exotic nuts and olives into your peripheral arm reach. Now the food - you know #Cuts owned by funny sounding renowned #Oscar #AcademyAwards #Chef #WolfgangPuck is right opposte, and rumored to have an ownership interest in SideBar so the food - appetizers or entrée has to be #OscarWorthy! The selection of appetizers is called "Rough Cuts" and gives you a window into Wolfgang Pucks world renowned culinary skills. So eat, drink and dance the night away and before you know it, it's Saturday already. Just please don't get so carried away that you step on those freshly broken in #Converse sneakers of the tall dark mysterious gentleman dancing next to you - yes that's me! Until next time ya'all - be sure to apply more grease to your elbow! Namaste ;-)

The place definitely gives off those Latin vibes and you feel it once you arrive. As for the food, my boss ordered appetizers for the table, which were shrimp tacos, flautas, and empanadas which were all very good! My favorite were the flautas with guac. For my main dish I went with the Chilean sea bass with a side of broccolini and rice. That sea bass was phenomenal! It had a nice sweet glaze on it with a very slit crisp texture on the top. A lot of alcoholic drinks were ordered from Moscow Mule to Espresso Martini to some cocktails that are more personalized at The Phoenix. Food was good! I personlly had the sweet thai chili crispy wings and had dabble from the pretzel and crispy cauliflower bites. The place was honestly really really fun! I loved the vibe, the bartenders were really accomodating and the drinks + food were all delicious.

Five stars for the service. We were there on a weekday for lunch. The servers knew my friend by…read morename...they were attentive and friendly, but not overly. Not snobby, just super nice. The food was good too. Coffee came with a small Madeline. Fresh pot and strong coffee. Refilled with a few check ins. I ordered the butternut squash soup...it was delish and beautiful to look at too. My friend had the Cobb salad, he was happy. He asked for the chopped egg on the side, no problem. We had a leisurely two hour lunch, seated in the area as you enter off the elevator....no city views from seated with striped umbrellas that were kinda worn and dirty, but it was comfy and casual garden-like setting. I did not see the pool beyond since we wanted to stay in the shade so if there were city views from poolside, I didn't get a chance to climb the steps to explore that area, which you can't see from our section. The restroom was only a table away hidden by greenery masking....the hand lotion smelled nice, it was clean restroom but not overly fancy. There was a shift change. And our server introduced the new waiter. Nice. Dessert was the recommendation of our server....he was right, the key lime brulee was 5/5. Light and refreshing, not overly sweet. But it was the service, 10/5. They represent The Pennisula well.

This visit was last summer, so we took advantage of their seasonal Aloha menu. I started with the Shake Your Coconuts cocktail - bright blue, tropical, and instantly transported me to the Islands. We shared the Pupu Platter so we could sample a bit of everything, and every bite was delicious. The standout for me was the grilled seabass. It practically melted in your mouth. The rooftop setting was fantastic - perfect temperature, great ambiance, and a relaxed, vacation-y feel. Our servers were attentive without hovering and made the whole evening feel special. Will we go again? Absolutely. It's already on my list for next summer.

Ok I love all the Hillstone Group restaurants!! This was my first time eating at The Honor Bar and…read moreit was 5/5!! I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich without the bread, devil eggs, and kale salad!! And OMG it was very good!! Even without the bread it was still on point!! The slaw was very tasty and yummy!! Kale salad with the peanuts was perfect! For my drink it ordered the Turnball Cabernet red wine that was suggested by Dylan and it was very good for my palette. The service was great! Dylan was our sever and he was very nice! And personable and easy going. Our order was not incorrect and it came out fresh and hot. But of course that's nothing new with Hillstone restaurants, they are all phenomenal!!! It's also located next to their sister restaurant South of Beverly. The Honor Wine is right next to it as well. It's dark and gives semi-upscale vibes! It's not that spacious since it's a bar so it's usually a long wait. I recommend coming early or trying to do reservations. This place is good for date night or a drink after work. I will return when I can!! I was not disappointed with my experience or food!! They have street parking and valet for $20! -Marshay D.

Now, the place is super small with weird seating. I like the dark vibe it has going though. The most frustrating part of it all? Servers came off super pretentious and would intentionally walk by your table without looking to avoid you asking them anything. Moreover, the place doesn't let you make many changes to your order. For example, if you ask for easy rice on the sushi, they will say no. If you ask for them to put the avocado on the side due to an allergy of one member of the group, they will say no. Our items came out SUPER slow, and this was after waiting a while for a table. The sushi is subpar - heavy on the rice and not enough fish. However, the coconut shrimp roll was good. That all being said, I'd go back and deal with it all again for the chicken sandwich and the burger. Both were a bit heavy on the bread in comparison to the protein, but delicious nonetheless.
