Try selling them to Amazon or eBay and tell me if you make more than what GameStop offered. Some of you all need a reality check. Anyway, every time I go in here the staff is super friendly and helpful and always makes small talk with me about certain games I like or am buying or trading in. They also have always apologized if there happens to be a long wait. And yes, sometimes this does happen cause if someone comes in trading in 25 games they have to check 'em all out and scan them in, etc, etc. The ONLY reason I'm taking off one star is because of their Cricket service. My mother is elderly and can't do a lot of things on her own. My family had purchased her a Cricket phone from Gamestop and we were told we could go in there and pay the bill whenever it came up. Okay, sounds good. So, one day I was in charge of making the payment for my mother. I went in there and out of THREE employees not one of them knew how to accept a cell phone payment... for a phone they sell.... almost exclusively in the area... that was purchased there... really? THREE employees? Not one of them knew how? Just a bit of advice but if you can't offer the services you advertise (AND SELL) then you just shouldn't do it all together. Stick to video games.

The owner is a pretty nice guy, offers cash / credit for trades that are decently reasonable. He doesn't seem to clean or test any of the inventory, but had a scenario where a game was defective and he let me swap it for something else. One thing of note is it's only open on weekends for a handful of hours, so just plan ahead if you want to check it out. Also make sure you have cash, as they don't accept card payments. Some decent prices on most games are generally around PriceCharting (owner always doublechecks on that if he didn't mark it up yet, but will give better prices than what's on there so that's great). Worth checking out if you're in the area!

What a great little shop, it's been a pleasure to watch them grow…read more I'm far from a "frequent flyer" here but I stop in on occasion and see a lot of the same faces. It seems they offer a great sense of community and engagement with their regular clientele; it's always nice to see such a well loved shop. Every time I'm in, it seems like there's something new (products, events, etc). The staff are familiar; they used to run the other comic/game/collectible shop in town, before it started going down hill I'd assume. When I've asked for something they don't have, they've always ordered it for me or referred me to someone else who DOES have it - these guys aren't looking for sales; they're looking for happy customers. I hope to see the store continue to grow; I don't play table top games but I love graphic novels, comics, and all things nerdy, and they've made forays into just about every realm of geekdom. Not at all corporate; 100% community. If you're in Maynard, you simply must stop in.

They wouldn't accept the job since the console had been opened in the past citing 'liability' concerns. The receptionist was rude and condescending during the encounter. I called another repair shop shortly after and they said they would take the job no problem and were able to essentially diagnose the problem over the phone (a solution consistent with that I explained over the phone). Perhaps Replay'd should adjust their policies and their attitude towards potential customers as they never know what opportunities may be lying on the other line.

The selection is the definition of "a little bit of this and a little of that" because he is most likely to have games for the mainstream systems but the amount might be limited the more rare and niche it is but that is not the fault of the store. The value is a little over normal market price but that is okay compared to many other stores I went to which were more expensive. BUT the big problem I have with this store is the hours. I know the owner is having some medical problems but I think that these hours are way too short! I recommend moving the hours from 3-6 if you want to get the most customers in my opinion because you can get student customers who come from school after 2:00 and workers who finish their 9-5 jobs.
