My Switch OLED was busted I had a warranty I was ping pong around each location from Natick Mall even a man named "Manny" was useless and rude! Dude didn't wanna help me at all can tell he hated his job and also kinda had B.O. but anyways I went to this location and Dan helped me super quick and explained things as he was doing them. First off, I want to address some of the other reviews. What on EARTH do you expect for traded in 360 games? It's an old system with old games that barely anyone wants. Try selling them to Amazon or eBay and tell me if you make more than what GameStop offered. Some of you all need a reality check. Anyway, every time I go in here the staff is super friendly and helpful and always makes small talk with me about certain games I like or am buying or trading in. They also have always apologized if there happens to be a long wait. And yes, sometimes this does happen cause if someone comes in trading in 25 games they have to check 'em all out and scan them in, etc, etc. The ONLY reason I'm taking off one star is because of their Cricket service. My mother is elderly and can't do a lot of things on her own. My family had purchased her a Cricket phone from Gamestop and we were told we could go in there and pay the bill whenever it came up. Okay, sounds good. So, one day I was in charge of making the payment for my mother. I went in there and out of THREE employees not one of them knew how to accept a cell phone payment... for a phone they sell.... almost exclusively in the area... that was purchased there... really? THREE employees? Not one of them knew how? Just a bit of advice but if you can't offer the services you advertise (AND SELL) then you just shouldn't do it all together. I am not an avid gamer, so I usually feel out of my element GameStop. However, the staff here are really helpful and make you feel comfortable. I bought the new xbox this past winter from a GameStop and slowly been adding pieces to my entertainment system. Today I reserved an Xbox One media control from the GameStop mobile app. I got a really fast response via email alerting me it was ready. I walked into the store about an hour later, and it might have taken 5 minutes to wait in line, pay, and go on my way. I'll definitely return here. read more

I went into gamestop to purchase an xbox one instead of purchasing it online. My reason for this was to ensure I had all the information via customer service. I spent the extra money on a Halo edition one. Being a casual gamer I don't read gaming blogs/news (hence why I depend on in store advice in order to make purhcases). I traded in a 360 with 2 controllers and purchased an extra xbox one controller in order to play this new game with my boyfriend. At no point was it mentioned that this game has no split screen at all despite us excitedly talking about playing together. Do not count on the employees to inform you on critical information or to help you to find a resolution to it once you realize it on your own. I am dissapointed in both gamestop and halo and will no longer be spending money on either since this purchase wasted way too much money on both. read more

I went there to take a look at Black Ops and to return something and he wasn't the one that helped me but I watched one of the employees (it was at 11am and the guy had kind of long hair and glasses) and he was AMAZING. The best customer service I've ever seen trying to make sure each client left completely content and doing such a great job, not pushy at all. I was actually hoping he would be the one helping me out because he was so nice and I wanted to ask him a few questions and he seemed pretty knowledgeable. I hate to go against the grain here. But. My wife and daughter bought me an Xbox One console here for Father's Day. They were told, not once, but twice, that the console came with Forza pre-loaded. It didn't. Would they have bought it anyway? Maybe. But the pre-loaded game sealed the deal. When I went back to ask, they told me that this version of the console doesn't come pre-loaded with any game. And they didn't know why my family would have been told that. As long as I was there, and still fuming about the bait & switch, I asked them to take a couple of Xbox 360 games in trade. I was looking at something to take with me when I heard the offer. $3. Yeah, no typo there. These were some of the most popular games for the 360, so I understood when they said "Well, we have like 30 of these." But then I looked at the same games they were selling pre-owned, $20-$40. That's a great profit margin, if you own the store. Not so much for me. I'll gift them to someone and get more out of it. The MANAGER wouldn't allow my mother to return an Xbox without an hdmi cable, and we get that, of course, but she said "look, I'm a widow with three children, I just want to return this" and he said "my moms a widow. Nobody cares." Who the fuck does that? If you're reading this I hope the regional manager fires you. read more

Great experience I walked in with my two boys, 3 and 9 years old. The manager and his two associates, let us know all the sales that were going when we walked in. We were there to pick up a few ps3 games, but also wanted info on the Nintendo switch. My son Really would like one , but I wanted to check it out first. I spoke with the manager while my boys played the floor sample. I asked the manager a ton of questions and he had every answer. He was also carrying a tablet around with him, and using it to showcase new games for the Nintendo switch. Very impressed I am in retail as well and a few months back we were given a tablet and this is exactly how I do my job. None the less we left with 3 games all waranteed and a great deal of information. We will be back in a few weeks for the Nintendo switch. This will be our go to spot whenever we need a video game system or games. Keep up the great work guys. Thank you read more

this place really sucks when it comes to selling or trading your games you dont get dollars you get pennies and then they sell them overpriced pre-owned scratched $40 even $60!! games xbox 360 controllers $40 used! walmart sells $35 BRAND NEW! ...there consoles say refurbished NO THERE ARE NOT! i got an xbox 360 took off the face cover there was the sticker of seal meaning they never opened to clean or put new thermal compound they thing was sooo dusty and actually had to take it all apart i didnt wanna go deal with them and i think i wont ever again go there do yourself a favor buy from CL or go to REPLAY'D store and stop helping these scumbags they are total RIP OFF!! read more

The customer service here is incredible. We go here at least twice a month and the employees are always friendly and seem genuinely happy to help. They always go above and beyond to assist and answer questions and never make me feel stupid for my lack of knowledge about gaming. read more

My lone experience relates to a refurbished iPad purchase over the summer. The manager of the store went out of his way to make sure the exact model I wanted was delivered to his store. This was in stark contrast to many other stores that I called that day with the same request. They all said that it would be at least 2 weeks before something was in stock, and there was nothing that they could do. This store made sure one was ordered and delivered to the store - and I had the exact iPad I was looking for 10 days later for 60 dollars less than the Apple refurb price. read more

To put it simply, Dan (the store manager) is the man. He traveled to a near-by store, during his break, to find me a refurbished PS4. He could have easily just gave me a list of the near-by stores that may have them in stock etc. However, he went the extra mile and it was much appreciated. Bil, the newest employee, has an encyclopedic knowledge of games and he's also super friendly. I live in Milford, NH where there's a gamestop five minutes from my house, however, I'd rather wait until I'm in the Framingham area to visit this location. read more
