I've used like 10 other dry cleaners and no one is as good as Power Cleaners! Also, Power Cleaners offers a pickup and delivery service which we use all the time. They deliver/pickup from a large geographic area so even if you live farther away like in Newport Beach, you can still get their service super easy without leaving your home. One place I went to quoted me $95, but they didn't sound confident that they could do a good job, so I went to Elena. Her quote was slightly higher, but her confidence reassured me and she had a very welcoming and friendly presence that made my concerns feel heard. She ended up finishing the dress a day earlier than we agreed upon and it fit like a glove! No sign at all that it had been tailored. Left feeling super upset by this guys work…read more He was recommended to me and when I originally dropped off my dress, my gut feeling was to take my dress elsewhere and I really wish I did. Not only is he way overpriced, he seemed like he charged me an arbitrary amount, especially for the work I asked for. My other alterations guy down the street would've charged half. He had me try on my dress and in the 30 mins I was talking to him, I got eaten alive by fleas or mosquitos or something in his dressing room. I was bit all over the place and the scars are still healing a month later. I also was uncomfortable by his presence and do wish I had someone else in the store with me. He gave off creeper vibes. He told me it would take about a month to get my dress back. My request for alterations included adding a mesh lining to make the skirt of the dress less see through, and he told me I had to supply him with the materials. I don't get alterations done a whole lot, but I had similar work done with my original alterations guy and he didn't ask me to supply him with materials so I was not only confused by the absurd request cuz I don't know anything about fabric, but he also charged too much money and he really ended up barely changing anything. The skirt portion is still mostly see thru. He added cups to the bust, added mesh lining to the skirt, both of which I supplied the materials for, and I asked him to simply change the tassels on the dress from the side, to the back. I showed him an example of another dress and asked him if he could recreate the way the tassels hung as best as he could. I understand it wouldn't be exact, but close enough would've been fine with me. He did not deliver. I had to call him to ask if my dress was ready. My other alterations guy would've called me to let me know it was done. And he would've been a lot quicker about it too. When he took my dress out of the bag, I immediately hated it. I was already feeling so anxious about this random guys work, and my gut feeling was right. He didn't do what I asked him to, on top of that he sewed the mesh on the dress back on incorrectly. I only have 2 weeks until my event, so now I'm left figuring out how to make the corrections on my own because I definitely don't trust him to correct the changes, but also I just wouldn't ever go back here. I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. $180 is honestly a scam for the crap job he gave me.
