First, they dumped materials in the street with no warning cones. The sheriff came to my house and told us to move it because someone ran into it. Custom Outlooks refused to move the material. The next day they demolished existing turf and made the pile in the street twice as big. They installed many travertine tiles that were broken, chipped, or cracked and have refused ( 6+ calls over 30 days) to fix. read more

Jesus and his team were amazing! I saw all the IG adds for their packages and thought it was too good to be true so I held off but then after seeing them for days I finally reached out! They came day of and provided a quote on the spot, even told us they could start next week. This was jaw dropping since others told us it would be 4-8 weeks out and we just didn't have that time to wait. Sadly the rain delayed our start but over a 2.5 day period they put in 16 hours of hard work and gave us a beautiful backyard! All the guys were so nice and friendly and you could tell they were proud of their work! They even gave us some good ideas for lighting and the future bbq we want to do! I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and will be telling all my friends about them. Requested a quote from this company and they seemed to communicate well at first and scheduled me for a quote day of. They then canceled the quote less than 2 hours before the appointment. That wasn't that big of a deal, but they came by for the quote two weeks ago and I've heard nothing. Reached out once and they said they'd look into it. Reached out second attempt and no response at all. Meanwhile another company I requested a quote from, was responding within 24/48 hours to answer any questions I had. I work in the industry and even if we don't have something available, it's our standard to respond to every client within 24/48 hours to ensure they know we are seeing their communication and give them some kind of update or ETA. My issue isn't the time it's taking for the quote but rather the lack of communication which indicates lack of professionalism. read more

We found Custom Outlooks at the Landscaping Home Show. We were impressed by their turf samples and pergola in their booth display. We signed up for a consult and hoped that they would call to schedule a consult, as we had tried with 3 other companies to give us quotes to transform our backyard. They called 3 days later and scheduled a consult for a couple of days after that. They came out, gave us a quote, we signed a contract with them and it is one of the best decisions we've ever made. We have never before had workers of this caliber at our house. They showed up every day at 0730 and left at 4pm. They were kind, respectful and hard- working. Their work is quality. Do not use this company for your landscaping needs! Unfortunately we did and we seriously regret it. They were contracted to put a putting green in our backyard. Joseph Benites came out to give us an estimate and stated that he would make sure that we were happy with the work when it was completed. First thing I questioned was the fact that they had the fill dropped off in the street and we weren't even told of a date that they would be here to do the work. It was more than a week before they came and of course we had rain in between so it was washing away down the street. When they finally arrived to do the work they didn't bother to go over the design shape with me, they were just going to match the rectangle area that was currently in place when we actually discussed with Joseph that we wanted curves in certain areas. The "workers" actually tried to tell me I couldn't have that because they weren't told about curves. I told them to call Joseph and if there was a problem he could call me but I am getting the design that we agreed to pay for. So they managed to get the shape somewhat correct and they had the fill in the backyard and said they would be back to finish the next day. Well that evening we had that torrential down pour of rain and everything was just drenched so I figured there was no way they would be able to finish with the fill and put the green in place. Well obviously they don't know the correct standards when putting in a green. You don't do it when the soil is wet!!!!! They showed up at 6:30 the next morning and "finished" installing. I thought ok they will come back to roll out the lumps when everything dries out. For 5 weeks I have tried to get them out here to roll it and every time I am told they will be here they do not show up or they have an excuse as to why they didn't show up. I have a very lumpy putting green in my backyard now and they don't care. I am filing a complaint with the ROC compliance department. Please, if you really want to have something nice for the money you pay for landscaping DON'T USE CUSTOM OUTLOOKS!!!!!! read more
