So be sure to know what you want. She is fast- but not in a sloppy rushed way, more like she knows what she is doing! There is no gap between your eyelid and the fake lash( which a lot of techs can leave and it looks bad). I drive the extra 10 minutes away from Heights to go to her, and if she moved further again I would still drive to her. She does this,because she can't be responsible for another stylists work . I will say this .. if you need a refill after only ONE week .. you have a terrible stylist or you have put something on your lashes that you weren't supposed to . I voiced about 3-4x that this was my first time, but did not get any after care instructions on how to take care of them at home, Ded took the time to explain what I should expect, do, not do, and how to. Dede has been my stylist for over a year now. She does an amazing job and always tells you exactly how to care for your lashes. She has great customer service. I went to a different stylist one time throughout the last year due to a mix up and instantly missed Dede. She always puts a cover on your forehead so she doesn't touch your forehead with her hands. She tapes one eye at a time to alleviate discomfort. She always makes sure to turn the light off before you open your eyes. Can I give 0 stars? I wish I could. I contacted Dede today, Sunday, asking her if she had any openings for a one week refill for a new customer. Her response was I have an opening at 4pm. I responded thank you and showed up to the appointment. When I got there she tried to hoodwink me by saying, "I don't do one week refills on new customers." At that point I showed her my text...clearly stating that I was a new customer needing a one week refill, and her response that she would take me at 4 PM. At this point, she adamantly combatted that she only does one week refills on regulars so I would have to pay $50 for a 2 week refill instead of $35 for one week. If you get eyelashes done, then you know that it is absolutely ridiculous to pay for a 2 week refill when all you need is a few eyelashes filled in if it's only been 1 week. Now if she had examined my eyelashes and too many of them had fallen out and she had said "this is truly a two week job" then that would be different. But she was so intent on baiting and switching to get that extra $15 and for me to pay more money that she not only lost a potential new customer but also shows absolutely no integrity. If anything, she should have said I don't normally do a one-week refill on new customers but I understand that I did not put that in our communication, so I will do it this time and moving forward please note my policy. Instead she went back-and-forth with me about it until I said "no thank you" and walked out the door. At that point she told me that she would call her lawyers on me if I wrote a truthful Yelp review about what happened... so you all be the judge on the type of person/character/customer service you want to have working that close to your eyes.
