If I could leave -20 stars I would. I went there to get a full set, I had a membership so I know the prices. The rude receptionist was the problem. I was quoted one price over the phone, once I got there she stated no one left a notes so it would be the full price. Plus I had packages unused on file. The condescending tone she use with me was not professional or was it necessary. I would suggest the receptionist receive some training on how to communicate more effectively. It was my first time getting lashes ever, and I think they turned out nice. The lady at the reception desk was nice and so my technician. The only thing that I'm unhappy with is the pricing. The website where I booked said that they have a special offer for first time guests for a full set for 69.99$ which is originally what got me to try this place out. I signed up for it and got an email confirming my offer and used the link in the email to make my appointment. I mentioned to the receptionist that I saw the offer for 69.99$ online and even showed her the website that had the offer and my email confirmation. However, the email didn't explicitly state that the price would be 69.99$ so she said it was going to have to be the 89.99$. I understand where the receptionist was coming from, she doesn't make the prices or the offers but the more I think about it, the more that bothers me. I really don't understand how they can just change the price like that when it's clearly advertised as a certain price online. I came here with my friends for lash services. This was my first time here. I informed the girl at the front that i had just taken off my lash clusters before the appointment. She told me don't worry you're fine. I continued filling out the paper work. And started my appointment. Once in the room, the lash tech (rosey) told me to wash my lashes. She handed me soap and sent me to the bathroom to wash my lashes. Not once did she off the service of a lash bath. After washing my eyes i returned to the room and she started to do my lashes. She finished my left side and began to start on my right side. She stopped and ran to the front to get the assistant at the front desk and then she came back and told me that there was a lot of glue and she couldn't finish the appointment. The lash tech then proceeded to put some chemical on my eye that burned to remove the lashes she had already completed. After telling her that it burned she continued removing the lashes and then came back and told me to wash my own lashes off. After retreating to the bathroom to wash my lashes again, whatever chemical she put on my lashes to remove them would not come off. My eyelid is still burning. I went to the front and the receptionist then tells me they will not be refunding my deposit as it was stated over the phone that there were no refunds. She tried to reschedule my appointment for a later date, but i told her i do not reside in the area. She kept my deposit and 5 minutes later my lash tech was walking out the door for the day. read more

I was so excited to get my (naturally blonde eyebrows) tinted & as well as my eyelashes tinted and lifted... I got them done my tech was very nice and fast however I walked outside $143 dollars later and instantly noticed my eyebrows and eyelashes were completely orange. I've tried everything to fix them and nothing has helped even a little. I called this morning to get some help on what to do after spending this amount of money and was told to either go to sally's or shave my eyebrows off completely. Wasn't offered a refund either. Please beware of coming here and doing eyebrow tint/or eyelash tints especially if you have lighter eyebrows & lashes. This has turned into a nightmare. Horrible attitude of manager Received service informed the tech I needed sensitive glue. sensitive glue was not used I had a reaction within 30 minutes i sent pictures of my eyes that were red and puffy eyelids to the managers email. Update: I did get them fixed but still not overall satisfied... still too heavy and they hurt my eyelids. Will be trying someone else for lashes, these didn't win me over at all I just got my lashes done today and after explaining I wasn't sure if I liked them they didn't ask what could've been done differently or anything just continued to say okay your total is..... Getting home I notice that one eye is basically perfect. The only issue I have with these lashes is that they are very hard and heavy ( I got the gorgeous BUT I've had other lashes done before and none felt so heavy and thick and hard) Now the other eye..... they look very jumbled up. The inner corner ones are sloping down and they just do not look cohesive. The girl who did my lashes, wonderful! The actual lashes themselves- could do some work. I would do research before choosing who to do your lashes at this location- If you choose. For the price, I would expect 10/10 and today my experience was 4/10. read more

Amazing Lash Studio- what can I say, I've been a loyal customer since the Amazing Lash Grand opening in 2015 and I am mystified at the management at this specific location. I spoke to a representative on the phone, Kennedy, and informed her that I still have almost all of my lashes on after 3 weeks. I was forced to make an appointment for this week under the pretense that I would have to book it as a full set. Once I stated that this was inappropriate and I could send pictures of proof, she basically was no help at all and told me that I was not allowed to have conversations with my lash technician outside of the studio (she is my friend and apparently it's not okay to talk to friends outside of their watch). I did not realize I would be treated as a child by this facility. I have personally recruited at least 5-10 people during my time at this location and would always rave about it. I will make sure to no longer recommend this place and pray that they get better management and treat their customers with respect. When needed services are rendered, I full heartedly expect to pay above and beyond for my lashes. However, if I don't need a refill at this moment and are forced to get a full set, it leaves a distaste in my mouth. Made an appointment at Amazing Lash Meyerland for hybrid lashes that I normally get done at Amazing Lash galleria, show up for my appointment and they refuse to do service or offer rate. Their response was that they discontinued that service.... then why let me make an appointment for it, come in, and then try to up charge me? When I moved down here 1.5 years ago I tried first going to Amazing Lash Meyerland for a few months and ended up with an eye infection on one occasion, a 30 minute wait for an appointment, and other issues with the front desk staff. And I've had Amazing Lash lashes for 3+ years now, and never had these issues until I went to Amazing Lash Meyerland. I made a mistake going back to them for one quick appointment. Save yourself the time and headache and do not go to Amazing Lash Meyerland, I recommend Amazing Lash Galleria! And after trying many stylists and Lash types, I highly recommend Mikala and hybrid lashes (6D mixed with the standard lashes for +$12.50)! Athena, front desk attendant, when trying to resolve an issue laughing IN MY FACE is completely unprofessional. Whether it pertained to me or not....don't do it. 3. Vanessa, manager, instead of standing by with your employees like a fish out of water with no sympathy, resolution, or at the very least apologetic mannerisms or behavior next time be proactive. Get involved. You (because you are responsible for your entire team) have wasted my time and now having driven here on a lunch break where I fit in who YOU suggested for my appt my lashes are not even done. I have been to this location several times and have had various issues (usually customer service problems), so I usually go elsewhere, even though this one is most convenient. I came in for a fill 3 weeks and 3 days after a previous appointment. My appointment was at 9 but didn't start until 9:15. (First appt of the day) Upon laying down I was hit with a strong odor of marijuana from my stylist. If I didn't need the appt I would have walked out at that. During the appt she retaped my eyes, pulling out several eyebrow hairs. (I've never had anyone retape, or pull out hair) At the end she told me I needed to book for a full set. I looked at my eyelashes and she had barely put any new ones on! Not to mention my appt was cut to only 50 min - she didn't even work for a full hour on my lashes and spent tons of time taping. The salon was also extremely loud with very loud music and people chatting very loudly in the front. Fortunately, a manager was at the front by the time I was done and was very professional in handling the unfortunate situation. She booked me a new appointment to finish the full with a different stylist - Jeremy, who did a great job. The place is very clean, comfortable, staff is very nice and friendly. The quality of the lashes themselves is not very good. Their process of gluing them is not the best quality. The lashes would stick together and would move and I had to not only brush them but force them into place. If I had never gotten lashes done I would not know. But I have had my lashes done once before this place and the lashes were better quality, they were like real lashes. They did not move out of place and did not stick together. The catch is you are on the hook for way beyond your time. First thing they do when you ask for membership to be cancelled is to actually put it on hold when you say cancel they assume hold and that means in 6 months charges will be hitting you again until you notice them and then you come back to them and say CANCEL!!! And since you did not sign something that says CANCEL you now have credit and would you like to use your credits....NO!!! Please... for the love of God CANCEL my membership...they say OK...sign this form. You think you are in the clear, but no...here come the charges again! This time they blame the old manager that is no longer there for reporting it correctly SO...you have to start all over again and in the mean time my charges have been coming at me since Mar23 $109.99, Apr23 #109.99, May23 $109.99 and Jun23 $109.99...i've now been charged an additional $439.96 once i've discovered they've been charging me again. Guess what....i've got more credits and no history that i've signed a CANCELLATION form. Joanna is going to call me back after she looks into this. Do you see the pattern??!! It is UNACCEPTABLE that they have a staff member doing lashes while she has the FLU!! I went in today and the tech did a very nice job. As she finishes one lash she coughs and says, "Sorry, I have the flu." I repeat what she said to be sure I heard her correctly. And she confirms that yes she has the flu. I immediately become enraged because she is literally six inches in my face breathing. In addition I'm SIX MONTHS PREGNANT and we all know pregnant women have a lower immune system. I am so sickened by what happened and am hoping and praying I do not contract the flu. This could put me in the hospital and cause me to lose wages as well. I wish I could give this location 0 stars. Let's start by the fact that I got a bacterial infection on my eye lid 24 hours after my appointment. Either the tweezers or the lashes were not sterile. This is on top of the hour and a half it took to receive a half ass, horrible fill. My lashes have never looked this bad. Let's just say my lashes only cover outwards to inner, 2/3 of my lid. The entire inner lashes were left off because the girl, while very sweet, must have learned to do this two days prior. I also stood up and looked in the mirror and had about 15 stray lashes she dropped on my face. I usually go to the one on Shepherd and I will never stray again. If I could put 0 as an option, I would. I noticed a monthly charge from my account and contacted the Meyerland facility to inquire. Spoke with Denise whom states that the charge was my monthly cost. I spoke with someone months prior to and cancelled the membership. She informed me that the account had not been cancelled. I inquired why is this charge coming out and nothing previously was taken. She informed me that the prior months were declined. Well, I have overdraft protection which would cover the cost but there have been no attempts to withdraw anything from the account nor have I received any calls from them to state the charges were declined. I was then informed I need to come in sign a form for cancellation. I inquired ok, after doing this will I be refunded? The response No- it will be placed on hold on your account. I asked why would you place it on hold on an account and service is cancelled? I said so if you won't refund me you are basically forcing me to come and have services I do not want to have? Well first off, their lashes aren't very well done but that's not my biggest issue. My biggest complaint is how they handled my contract. They claimed to freeze my account and inform me when it would be activated. They never contacted me and just started removing payments. They refuse to refund the charges. Basically, they convinced me to freeze instead of cancel and said they would be in communication with me. They never were. They have the ability to refund it and won't. Also, one visit I tipped $10 and they removed $25 from my account. I called and sent emails to dispute the charge and never received a response. They also had a woman's card info pulled up on their computer and charged her for MY LASHES on accident. They are careless with your credit card!!! read more

I only come to this location when I need a full set done last minute and usually, this location has openings the day before I am about to book which makes me wonder why because the past two times I've came here, my experience has been okay. The location I typically go to is always booked and I had always had a great experience. The first time I came here, I had a regular stylist I believe and I was very unimpressed. My lashes fell off so quickly and she was not able to give me full look. Also, laying there for almost 2.5 hours wasn't pleasant. I went back my second time and got a senior stylist instead hoping I would have a better experience. I definitely did but it wasn't up to par at the other location. I am glad that after 2.5 weeks, the lashes are still on. I just wish she made them look fuller. Lesson learned is that I should definitely stick to my original location and try not to book so last minute!
