It ended up being one of the best spontaneous decisions we've made in a while. From the moment we stepped in, the vibe was welcoming, upbeat, and full of personality. The shop itself is clean, well organized, and has that classic tattoo parlor energy without feeling intimidating. You can tell right away that the artists here take pride in both their craft and the experience they create for their clients. We were lucky enough to work with Homer, and he absolutely made the experience. He brought such a fun, lively spirit to the whole process and immediately made us feel comfortable. The conversation flowed easily, the energy was light, and he somehow balanced being entertaining while still being completely focused and professional with his work. Most importantly, his talent speaks for itself. The lines are crisp, the detail is clean, and you can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of what he puts on someone's skin. It's the kind of work that makes you already start thinking about what you might come back for next. What started as a spontaneous stop after brunch turned into a really memorable experience. Great energy, great artistry, and a genuinely fun environment. If you're looking for a place where the artists are skilled, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the whole experience feels like part of the adventure, 713 Tattoo Parlour is definitely worth checking out. And if you get the chance to book with Homer, you're in very good hands.

On my second appointment, I arrived 15-20 minutes beforehand because there are many strict rules on the website about no shows, cancellations, and appointment deposits. To my surprise, the door was locked. How odd. Most businesses clearly state that they keep their doors open during business hours. I waited 5-10 minutes before emailing and trying to call to get an explanation. I checked my emails and text messages, there was no notice that my appointment was canceled or the provider was unavailable. With my card on file, I definitely was worried they would somehow charge as a no show. Another patron arrived only to see the door was locked too. We waited a few more minutes before she went back to her car to wait. After 20-25 minutes, the provider opened the door, as if it was no big deal and gave no explanation. She invited me to sit in the chair and began the eyebrow lamination process. After applying the lamination cream to my eyebrows, she stepped away for 15 minutes to provide an eyebrow wax service to another customer and cash them out. The lamination cream is only meant to go on for 7-10 minutes, so it felt irresponsible to leave the cream for 15+ minutes. After the cream was removed, she then began to wax my eyebrows. Rather than apply the wax selectively to where it was needed, she was doing broad lines across the entire eyebrow which inevitably meant waxing skin with no hair. It was painful as she ripped the sheets of wax off in a single go. It was only once I got home, and I looked into the mirror that I realized how ripped my skin was. Now, I am 3 days away from the photoshoot knowing that I am going to have to use makeup to cover up where my skin is irritated and ripped from the eye brow service. In hindsight, it is better to do threading than waxing to avoid the risk of skin ripping as a result of eyebrow waxing.

I was referred to Jackie from a friend who has experience in having microblading treatment done on their eyebrows, they promised me that Jackie was the best and that I wouldn't regret it. She was damn right! The microblading wasn't for me, it was a gift for my mother who had been wanting to have such a service done for a little while. Microblading appointments cannot be done online so make sure you give the salon a call to book your spot. Deposit of $200 is required to reserve your spot and final full payment is done at the appointment. My mother has never really had full eyebrows, and so for most of her life she has drawn them in with an eyebrow pencil. Those days are officially over, Jackie did an amazing job with my mother. After their session my mom was practically in tears because of how happy she was with the end result. Aftercare is properly explained and in about 4-5 weeks one must return for a quick touch up and after that it's about a year before you need another touch up. Aside from microblading, standard eyebrow waxing is also available if that is something you're looking to get done ($33), tinting ($38), and other services.

The staff is super talented and detailed oriented. I've had a few sets done there and have always liked my nails. Ive never had a set get chipped or a design scratch off. It does take a long time- almost 2 hours. A lot of this is cuticle work-not of it is painful. I had a first time client discount I secured from Instagram, but my second set was more expensive (I also picked a more intricate design). I wish it was a little cheaper. The only other thing I don't like about this location is you can't walk in and say you want to add on services (eyebrows, toenails). I book my appointment weeks in advance and they don't have a lot of flexibility. They will also charge to remove nails that aren't their own work- which I've seen people get pretty upset about. Overall, I probably won't be able to afford coming here forever, but I love the femininity of how these nails look on me. Parking is also very accessible.

I really wish I could give Danielle 5 Stars, but I'm really disappointed how my brows turned out. I…read moredecided to give microblading a try since I've seen some amazing results first hand. I researched online and found Danielle. Her before and after photos looked beautiful, however, I really wish I would have researched about microblading a bit more before I pulled the trigger on this. Walking into the Brow Bar, I was impressed with how nice everyone is! Danielle herself is incredibly sweet and very thorough on making sure all your questions are answered. It really gave me a confidence boost to go forward and schedule an appointment. Fast forward to my appointment day, I agreed to a specific brow shape and color after she waxed some hairs. The numbing cream takes a while to kick in, and it also doesn't last that long. You will have some pain and discomfort during the process but it's tolerable. Once the procedure was done, I noticed that the thick part of my eyebrow was a tad lower and was a few millimeters closer to my nose than the other brow. It's very obvious if you look at the pictures I posted and compare where the brows extend from the corners of my eye. I texted Danielle about it and she assured me that those were issues that could be fixed at the touch up appointment. I also noticed that the lines were getting fatter and looked like the ink was blowing and turning a brownish grey. At that time, I figured it was probably just part of the scabbing process and it would eventually fall off. At my next appointment, I brought up to Danielle how it looked like my lines were blowing. She asked me if I was adhering to the post care and I assured her that I did. I kept them dry and applied the Vit E ointment that was given to me as instructed. She told me that the issue will be fixed on the touch up. After the touch up, it did look a lot better because I could see crisp lines again, but it still kind of looked like a cover up tattoo over blown lines. However, it only lasted a couples days and then the lines blew even worse than before and began to get ashy! I would be more upset if it weren't for the fact it's only noticeable if you look hard enough for it. My husband says it looks like I penciled in some brows with an off color. My only hope was that the color would eventually fade, but it's been 8 months now with no signs of fading. I joined a couple Microblade Groups on Facebook and found out a few things: 1: Microblading is a tattoo. It really shouldn't be labeled semi-permanent. It doesn't just disappear after a couple years. 2: The ink blew from a combined issue of the blades being tilted instead of inserted at 90 degrees. The blades were also inserted too deep and also the post care instructions for my skin type was incorrect. I have oily skin. I should not have been using ointment. Instead I should have been using a dry method of putting absolutely nothing on my brows after day 1. 3. Because of the ink brand used, the pigments turned ashy. 4. The hair strokes that were used were improperly placed going in the wrong direction towards the tails. At first I thought, maybe it was just because of the way my brows are shaped? Maybe that's why she decided to scratch every single hair all in the same direction. Hair strokes are suppose to tilt downward towards the tail almost like they come together in a feathery point. It creates a more natural look because that's how eyebrow hairs actually grow. I looked back at Danielle's portfolio and every single person had symmetrical upward hair strokes. You can google microblading hair stroke templates and see how making the strokes in the same direction is not the industry standard. I also wish she didn't wax my eyebrows before the procedure. I didn't initially notice but she waxed off a good amount near my Starts. After it grew back, the hairline didn't line up at all with the microblade lines. So at this point, I'm going to wait and see if they will eventually fade. If not then I'm going to have to fork out the cash to get them removed. If I had to do it all over again, I would have definitely researched more into microblading and looked harder for an artist who practices in the same techniques I learned to appreciate. Don't get me wrong, some people feel like Danielle does great work because obviously she has happy clients, but I do think for my face shape, skin type, and design I had in mind.... it just was a bad fit for me.

My revitalized brows have drawn a myriad of compliments referencing beauty, youth and good health to name a few. My friends and family members seem to think I look great, but aren't really aware of the change I've made. This is the best part of Danielle's work -- her artistry has brought forth a subtle yet definite transformation of my face. Not to mention the fact that I can wake up in the morning and look presentable with much less effort than it once took me to pencil in my sparse and fading 60-year-old eyebrows. Thank you, Danielle, for giving me my face back!!
