During my last visits, I dealt with scheduling issues, including overbooking, which led to being asked to choose a more time-efficient style or potentially have my appointment interrupted due to another client being scheduled during my time slot. When I raised my concerns, I ultimately felt dismissed and later canceled as a client. I also experienced continued messages after requesting no further contact. I shared my experience publicly because I believe clients should be able to speak honestly about their service experiences. After being given the job, she was shown how to correctly wash hair & assumed to work on other skills she had learned at school per her hiring instructions. She had worked there since September and that was the only skill she worked on (besides washing towel, cleaning the salon, mopping, etc.). After Christmas break she was very sick, but does not call off. She was going to high school and holding 2 jobs (her own choice). She received a text message from the owner asking to meet with her after school her next shift, so she went to work and waited to speak with Kellie, the Owner. She was told she was being let go because the boss could tell she was "whooped" after a long day at school. NO WARNING, NO STRIKE 1, just YOUR FIRED. Her other job cannot rave about her hard work enough for her age. She rarely calls off & has a positive attitude at work. As a business owner myself, these are not practices I live by nor would I recommend treating staff this way. My daughter was crushed when I reached out and was told she was basically lazy. She is 16, it was your job to give her guidance and explain how things work in the salon. After speaking with many stylist friends, owners, teachers, we are appalled at how this was handled. Not a great way to shape the minds of our children's futures.

My hair was quite long, one length. I showed her a picture and left with a cut I NEVER wanted or asked for. She cut my hair in a what I can only describe as a cross between a mullet and a shag. The length was chopped to 5inches on top of my head. The crown and sides are heavily layered and layers on top dont match the layers on the sides. The back barely touched. The bottom was shaped in a "v". Thats it. It was a long thin strip of hair I refer to as the tail. That was the ONLY bit of length she left. I can't wear it pulled back or in a ponytail. Its too short. I texted Tammy and her only resolution was that she offered to "teach" me how to style it. It can not be styled any other way than how it is cut! Its been so heavily layered, it appears thin. I cant hide a 12inch tail in the back under the 5inches she left me with on top. I have since had the "tail" cut off and it left me with short hair I hate, never wanted or asked for . The lack of professionalism, responsibility and the fact she can not even respond is beyond me. I am left with a haircut I NEVER would have asked for and now I will have to wait a year and a half before its long enough to do something else with. I wouldnt have given 1 star but had to in order to leave the review. Do not go here if you value your hair or have any oponion about how you should look. You will get the look she wants you to have.
