This place is quaint, and when I popped in it was pretty busy with a small tournament and it had a positive atmosphere even though that's not my thing. The place was pretty full, and consists of a comic/inventory wall, a countertop, a couple of stands, and a bunch of foIding tables. I would guess it is ideal for Dungeon and Dragons fans for supplies and tournaments and not much beyond except a small inventory of graphic novels that are reasonably priced. This shop does not have a lot of things such as a vast array of comics, or a wide variety of titles, but for a guy, this is worth a pop in, but keep expectations low. The giant man behind the counter was courteous but a bit peculiar too, but I kept it moving. The place isn't flashy, but rather seems sort of a "industrial suite" that wasn't completed, and was filled with comics, and is sort of empty and isn't really for kids but rather man-children/nerds/enthusiasts, and I would ESPECIALLY AVOID THE BATHROOM if you're a FEMALE. You've been warned. Got my son some comics and my daughter some Pokémon cards here, and will likely return.

I found some of the Dragonball figures but I thought they were price high so I didn't buy anything. They also sell ramen noodles and candy as well. They have a notice about China product that the expiration date might not be accurate. I saw some nice shirts design and other figures as well. The store is a decent size and has a lot of products.

What will cause me to stop shopping here is that I recently ran in to pick up a pot of Citadel Nikolakh Oxide. It runs $4.50 on GW's site, $4.50 at other nearby stores. Green Tower charged me $7.80. It was a rainy day, and I wanted to save to drive to Geeky Teas, so I bought it. However, I won't shop here again. UPDATE: Thanks to the owner for the refund. Of course the best time to go to make sure they have it in stock are Wednesdays. VIntage comics can be found in bins, the wall, or the front case near the register. CGC slabs are also on hand. Prices are usually on par with the market. Just ask Paul and the rest of the crew for anything you need, they're pretty knowledgeable and willing to help. Comic supplies are also available for those in need. Parking is limited to street parking and the surrounding residential area, but it's never too far a walk. Highly recommended comic shop in the Burbank area.

This is a really middle of the road shop for a couple reasons. To begin with positives, the…read moreselection of back issues is great. They have some stuff that other shops in the valley don't even know about. The selection of new books is great, too. They are well organized, probably the best organization i've seen in a long time at a comic shop. The negatives: prices are way too high for what are basically reader copies, and the presence of the cats in the shop negates the concept of these being "pet free books". Many of the back issues are clearly a bed for the cats, complete with destroyed bags and boards, where the very cute cats have shredded them. Despite this shop having a good stock, the asking prices on every back issue are 2-3$ higher than what I believe is fair. In addition to that, the employees are not terribly welcoming. The gentleman running the counter was downright dismissive, I didn't even get a hello when I walked in the door and made eye contact. I didn't get a single word as I browsed the stacks for at least twenty minutes. The lady working here had a conversation with my wife about the cats, and even talked to my wife about her clothes, but neither employee engaged with me whatsoever. It felt like they thought i was there to cause trouble, even when making a purchase. In addition, this shop is guilty of one of my biggest pet peeves on the planet: not selling displayed merchandise. On the front counter, two small statues were displayed, but when I asked if they were for sale, I was told they still needed to be researched. Man, do it right now, i'm holding the money in my hand for them. In a store with no other customers, and nothing pressing happening, why would you not take two minutes to check the item price on ebay, or even better yet, decide for yourself what seems like a fair price instead of turning away a paying customer? If the item isn't for sale, take it off the sales floor. Stock is excellent, organization is excellent, prices are not good, and customer service is decidedly bad. It feels like the male employee is either suspicious of everything, or gatekeeping the hobby for some reason. I did not feel welcome here.

Excellent bookstore! They have a wide selection of books including new releases and back issues all…read morein excellent condition! It's one of the larger comic bookstores in the San Fernando Valley. You can sometimes find a 2-3 month old raw book still at cover price on the stands. You can tell this shop is run by people who truly care about comics and their clients. Highly recommend for both casual readers and serious collectors. The prices are very reasonable.
