Excellent service and a truly great experience with Ismail. I brought in my Tesla Model 3 because…read morethe passenger-side door was misaligned and would not close properly after the open door had struck an object. Ismail took a look right away and asked one of his mechanics to bring the car in for a closer inspection. Within about 15 minutes, they identified the issue as a simple misalignment, adjusted the door, and had it closing normally again. What impressed me most was the difference compared with a couple of other auto shops I had visited. They told me I would need to leave the car overnight just for an estimate, that the door might need to be removed, parts could need to be ordered, and the repair could take 10-15 days. Ismail was able to resolve the issue in less than 15 minutes without replacing any parts. I really appreciated his honesty, professionalism, efficiency, and willingness to help. It is refreshing to find someone who focuses on solving the problem instead of making the repair more complicated than it needs to be. I highly recommend Ismail and his shop. Five-star service all the way.

10 STARS! If you're…read morelooking for something more than just a business that will deal with you, but more like a family or friend that takes care of you and will hook you up specially treating you like it's personal, this place is what you want! I had a minor incident that left considerable scratches, markings, and a small dent or two on my 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander (not white). I dropped by just to get an estimate, and even though I didn't make an appointment, Elias was cool & considerate enough to still take me and checked it out. Where one collision repair shop in Fruitvale estimated $1800 (to take the whole panel off and work it), and another in Hayward estimated over $500, Elias hooked me up with the MOST unbelievable subtracting discount! I think & imagine I would only see something reserved to be offered in that degree given to a business owners' personal family or friends! To add to the exceptional, he and his guy offered to take care of me right there and then even though it was the late in the day (and it's not like I didn't see other cars being worked on too). I waited with him in his office, and we were just shooting the breeze. Elias is just the coolest, chillest, most laid back, most personable guy. A guy that's eager to do you a favor, do what he can for you; completely why you can see how I described him/them as an establishment/person that will treat & take care of you like a family or friend. And if you are big dog lover like I am, there's a bonus with his office/business, and I loved hanging out with him and his dog (I think his name was Jake). That dog is just a big teddy bear that just wants your attention and to play with you. In the end, for what he offered to do it for and considering it was just what they were able to fit in late in the day, I would say it got back to 98% there (so much so I even offered to give more $, which he wouldn't take [would only accept this Yelp review and pets to the dog]). To the extent that when I very apprehensively/fearfully showed it to my very scrutinizing-type wife, she accepted it and even took to it without having me take it back and get any more work done (to complete it by the last 2 percent; get it to the full 100%)! This goes to show that this place is as surprisingly impressive and proficient as I was surprised by my very scrutinizing wife's acceptance & approval. Couple notes about this place -- try not to park in the back, they do work there with cars coming in & out (it's not just for temporarily placing cars like I thought haha); just park in front of the garage opening (he prefers it right outside his office to see what has to be done). Also, as mentioned before, it's best to make an appointment even for an estimate. Elias (and Jake[?]) and his guy (I really wish I got his name; because I highly doubt I would've gotten such an awesome outcome if he wasn't willing as well) are the best! I can't imagine finding a cooler, most considerate guy in this. He/They did it with such quality work (look at my other estimates & what it would take) where I'm off the hook with my rather scrutinizing wife, and he/they did me the hugest favor with what he/they offered to do it for (that I imagine like only reserved for family or friends), I'm sure he'd treat & do the same for you or anybody.

I used yelp's "Get Pricing" quote tabs is collect some quotes. Most shops responded by telling me to come in, so they could give me an estimate. Not even a ball park figure. Um, why did I go to all the trouble of taking 5 clear shots of all the work I needed and including a concise description of exactly what I wanted to be done only to still have to come in for the quote? I mean why offer the quote option at all? So only a few places actually sent me quotes. Those are the only ones I engaged. Thankfully, one of them was Bay Colors Refinishing. Their quote of $3000 was the lowest, tied with another shop. The others were $3500 and above. I decided that it would be between Bay Colors and the other shop since they offered the same price and both averaged 5 star reviews. So I took it to both of them to get estimates based on actual visuals. Really, who has the time and trunkloads of gas money to go to all these other quote-less guys? I went to Bay Colors first. Kathy who handled communication was great. Always prompt and friendly. When I got there, the owner, Tri (like in tree) was under a car doing work, but soon stopped just so that I could get the estimate quickly. He said he would honor the quote of $3000. I was pleasantly surprised he was actually willing to straight honor the quote! I drove to the other place. The guy making the assessment quoted $4700! I almost laughed, but bit my tongue to be nice because at least he had let me use their restroom. As I was quietly and hastily side-stepping back to my car, he saw I was trying to escape, and quickly said, 'How much were you looking for?" Me: "Um, $3000..." Him: Silence. I would've burned rubber out if there, but didn't want to push the Honda's older engine. I also wanted to rush home to check the mirror to see if my smile was somehow seriously betraying a gullible-fool face. I mean how do you hike it up $1,700?? Even if you were thinking you were willing to come down half of that during bargaining, do you really believe I would accept $850 over the online quote?? Not to self: Adjust smile to look more intimidating and less moronic. (If you want to know the name of the shop, message me. I didn't actually use their services, so I don't feel like calling them out.) Another thing I also appreciated about Bay Colors is that after bringing my car in, Tri did find things that could have legitimately hiked up the price. But he said even with the extra work, he would stick to the quote. I got the sense that he truly wanted to help take care of me and my car, not just rack up a quick buck. So I chose Bay Colors and eventually dropped the car off there. When I was about to leave Kathy asked me how I was getting back home. I told her I would be BARTing back to Oakland. They ended up calling and paying for an uber to take me to the BART station! One of the best customer service experiences of any kind I've ever had. After a few days, I went to pick up the car and it looked great! I did notice that the hood still didn't completely close all the way as I had mentioned when I first brought it in and pointed it out to Tri again. He soon went to work on it quickly, and made sure it closed right. On top of that they had even meticulously vacuumed the interior! I'm really glad I chose Bay Colors. Even though it's in Hayward, and I had to BART down from Oakland, it was definitely worth the trip!

The bad news is that plastic deforms too much from a collision, you can't just massage it back to shape with a hair dryer. Also, who knows if anything else on the car behind the plastic is damaged or out of alignment. California Collision came to the rescue and was able to replace my bumper cover, have it painted, and then recalibration done for the various car sensors to eliminate fault codes. Even minor collisions can cause sensors to be faulty, so don't assume it's a cosmetic thing and try to cut corners and get your vehicle repaired properly. The job took a few hours one day to paint match, then a separate full day to install, recalibrate, and test drive the vehicle to ensure bo more fault codes. George was extremely friendly and transparent with the repair process. He even gave me a tour of his shop and explained the workflow. Its a family business as his son and daughter also work here. He obviously values work-life balance and is closed Friday-Sunday. Body Shops are not cheap but if you need a thorough repair and want things done right, I highly recommend California Collision. If paying out of pocket, use a debit card with a high spend limit to avoid credit card fees.

Don't do that. After I wisely had my car towed home instead, I took a deep breath, talked to my regular mechanic, and he recommend I send it to George at California Collisions. This was a very good choice. George and his staff did the grueling work of haggling with the insurance company, multiple times, over weeks. He also did an excellent job reconstructing my vehicle within the constraints of the insurance coverage. I got my adventure wagon back in good-as-new condition. Customer service and communication were excellent. About 15,000 miles later the rebuild has been tested and proven. Happy to support and rep this business.

Honest expectations, excellent blend, and bilingual, accommodating service…read more In early January 2026 I had the hood and right rear passenger door of my 2012 Toyota Corolla painted at Accurate Auto Body & Paint, and I'm genuinely impressed, especially for the price. I originally stopped in just to get an estimate, and Christian was polite, professional, and very accommodating. He's bilingual (Spanish and English), and I was able to speak with him in both, which I really appreciated. He also took the time to set expectations clearly: he said it might take 1 to 2 weeks and that they wouldn't guarantee the paint would blend perfectly with the rest of the car since I wasn't repainting the whole vehicle. I respected the honesty because my goal was simple, make the car look presentable again (it had ugly fading), and I wasn't chasing a showroom-perfect match. The estimate was right up my alley, so I dropped the car off that same day and walked home (I live nearby). About a week and a half later, the car was ready, and the results were even better than I expected. The paint blended so nicely that I honestly couldn't tell the difference between the newly painted panels and the older parts of the car. It looks clean, uniform, and way better than before. This is our family car and my daughter drives it, so I mainly wanted something presentable, and they delivered. If you want a shop that communicates clearly, is bilingual and easy to work with, and provides excellent value, I'd absolutely recommend Accurate Auto Body & Paint.

Safi, the owner, did a fatastic job from the quote through the repair and even paid for 4 days of my car rental due to Tesla being slow to ge t the parts for the repair. There was extensive damage to the front right with the bumber, headlight, sensors and under the car. Safi kept in constant communication letting me know the status of all stages of getting parts, repair and time lines. With his help the car insurance, from the accident, was able to pay more than I expected to get. Safi also answered all my questions and took away any doubt or fear regarding getting the car repaired. I have already recommended this shop to neighbors to save them time in looking for a great repair shop. If you are looking at repair shops, make sure you check out Auto Craft Body and Paint first. Simply Amazing! No…read moreone is happy when their vehicle is involved in an accident. It is a stressful experience. Add to that the insurance company making your life difficult. If you look through my reviews I initially went to a shop that my insurance company recommended and they gave an estimate that included replacing things that were not even an option on my vehicle and gave an estimate that made the insurance company declare my car a total loss. The damage was cosmetic but enough that I wanted it fixed. From the moment I met with Safi it was like a boulder was lifted from my shoulders. He was very patient and helpful. He explained the entire process of the reiregistration process and said he would help me navigate the paperwork and inspections that will be required. My car is 18 years old but I have taken good care of it so the engine should last a while longer. Imagine my surprise when I picked up my car and he looked better than he did before the accident? He looked like new! I can honestly say Safi treated me like a sibling making sure the car was the best it could be. He was very mindful of pricing and advised against getting things done that would cost too much and were not necessary. His staff even noted that one of my brake lights was out as I was leaving and he took care of that as well. He takes pride in his work and will not let you drive away if your car does not look like new. You don't find people who are so meticulous in their attention to detail and desire to provide a high quality outcome. I hope you never need a autobody shop, but if you do Safi is the only one you should trust your vehicle with. There is a reason why he has only 5 star reviews. He has earned it!
