1 broken driver window, $8,700 and 38 labor hours later and I'm still wondering what I actually paid for. The quality of what was fixed looks fine, but a lot was left to be desired. They say "transparency is our priority," but I never knew what was actually being done. They even removed my rear bumper and I still have no idea why. The shop claims they can only repair things that were officially reported, but they still went ahead and fixed other items I never mentioned. So it felt like cherry picking... they took care of the easy, high ticket stuff, but ignored dents and scratches right next to the areas they worked on. The new trim already had swirl marks(from last minute buffing?), and I found glass still sitting in the center console. That could have easily cut someone's hand. For nearly $9K and weeks without my car, I expected better attention to detail and a more complete job. This was insurance work. These shops thrive off insurance claims because they know insurance usually won't fight back. I will not be returning. Next time I'll take my car somewhere local that actually values quality and accountability. Until then, if you read this review, take your car somewhere else. I'll talk to San Leandro Honda and tell them to stop recommending this shop. read more

Had to pay another visit to SCR Collision after I ran into a huge pothole in my 2011 Honda Pilot that was completely unsafe to drive afterwards on a Sunday. Just my luck since SCR Collision is close on a Sunday but I still wanted to test my luck again by reaching out to the owner of the shop Abraham Alonzo who guided me through the process and even helped me open up a claim through my insurance. He responded immediately and even arranged for my vehicle to be towed his repair facility all on a Sunday. In my past experience with inconveniences happening to my vehicle, no shop has ever offered me any assistance with opening a claim or even sending out a tow, if that does not speak quality I do not know what to tell you. It was completely effortless I tell you. The staff even went as far as calling my insurance to get me set up for a rental vehicle however I did not have that coverage on my policy. The day after Drew Torres, one of the estimators at the shop reached out to me notifying me that my vehicle inspected and an estimate was submitted over to my insurance company State Farm. A couple of days passed, Drew notifies me that State Farm has yet to reach out to the after after SCR attempted multiple times to get in contacted State Farm. He asked if I could reach out to apply pressure on my insurance company because they were being unresponsive. I was completely appalled that State Farm was dragging their feet on my claim because my family and I have been a customer of theirs for well over a decade! Long story short it took over two weeks for them to review SCR's estimate after SCR and I reached out to them multiple times. Throughout this entire time Drew was in contact with me the entire time and never once left me in a grey area! Anyways my vehicle ended up totaling out out because the amount of the repairs exceeded the value of my car. It was a bummer that it took my insurance two weeks to determine that since I was out of a vehicle the entire time. To sum up my rambling review, SCR has once again exceeded my expectations with another insurance claim and I cannot thank them enough for making this process as simple as it can be. I will 100% recommend coming into this repair facility for all of your collision needs. read more

I got into a hit and run a month after I bought my vehicle. This was my first ever accident and I wasn't sure on how the process with insurance and repairs would be. came here as my dealership told me they used them and I took my car in and they quoted 1-2 weeks it took the whole two weeks.....but.....they did a great job I think my car looked better than when it came in except for a small issue which they said they'd address so it still ended up being a positive experience overall. This was my second visit to SCR. My first visit was to have paint damage repaired on my rear door. They did an amazing job blending the panels. It was repaired back to manufacturers spec. This time around it was thankfully just for a full detail. They did an amazing job. My car looked like it did when I bought it! And they had quite job ahead of them. I have two large dogs and a 7 year old. But they managed to get all the dog hair out of the carpeted trunk area. But what really sets this place apart for me is the customer service. Brought my truck in here after someone in a Costco parking lot scratched my bumper about 6 inches long with a cart. They were super friendly. Super quick and actually fixed it right then.
