Best body shop in San Leandro! If you're looking for quality work go hit up Nate over here at the shop. I was referred here by my buddy who does work for them too. I just needed "a" body shop just to get my car fixed and thought they were all the same. Why should I care when insurance is paying?? Later I found out other shops will half do the jobs and cut corners. This shop is not going to do that to you! Nate helped me out and told me insurance had to come out to see damage from the inside that they missed. Took about 3 weeks but that's because my insurance co took a while to see the damage and my door had to be special ordered which took another few days. Reasonable on delivery time and 3 weeks is fair. I'd rather get the job right. They told me exactly what's being done and kept updating me on progress. What great service. I got my car back which was cleaned up inside and outside!! Also Nate went out of his way to give me a ride which was helpful. Saved on my uber/lyft! I brought my car here for collision repair for my car after checking the reviews here. This is the first time I've ever had to check my car into the shop for collision repair and Nate walked me through the entire process. He even went out of his way to give me constant updates during the repair process which included giving me an update on the damage repair approval through my insurance, all the way to the end; each step of the way. The repair process was very fast compared to other shops that quoted me a wait time of 2-3 months. Nate and the team had my car finished in 2-3 weeks!!!! When I received my car after repair it was flawless, the paint matched the factory paint all the way down to the amount of flakes within the paint, and all lines on the car were as they should be which includes the gapping between the panels of the car's body. Needless to say, they pay great attention to detail and execute everything with precision and quality. The car was washed, waxed, and was good as new, maybe better!!! My car was struck by a hit and run driver and needed body repair. Fortunately I was able to find the driver later so I could use their insurance fix my car. I had been to the Garage before, and had an okay experience (I had to address some bubbles in the paint job and the interior of my car returned filthy). This was a MUCH better experience. They advocate for proper repair, beyond the insurance adjuster's assessment. The vehicle was repaired above and beyond expectations and returned clean and shiny. The reason I took one star off was that they kept my car for a few weeks before the work started, and it was drivable. I would have preferred having my car while waiting for repairs to start than having it locked up all that time. Our insurance didn't want to approve the headlights for our BMW to match the originals we had, but they pressed to bring our car back to its original state without any additional charge to us. I brought my car to their shop for a minor repair. After I stepped into the office, I notice the office is very messy, a lots of paper and repair quotation on the floor. The guy gave me a repair quotation for around $1000. After he talked to another person in the shop, they can do the repair for $500 if I pay by cash. The guy told me the car will take a day to repair and I told him I will drop the car on the next day. So, I went to their shop on the next day. When I walked into their office, the guy is not willing to do the repair and ask me to bring the car to the shop next week without provide any reason. I absolutely love this place, I'll never go to another shop. They have fixed what another body shop messed up. With my vehicle accident my car should of been totalled, but the last shop fixed it and charged the insurance almost as much as the car was worth (they were AAA associated). I still had problems with it and brought it back multiple times. Finally I said forget it. Then a friend recommended The Garage, and man ohh man I wish I would of taken my Car there in the first place. Nate took one look at my invoice and continued problems on the car and agreed it should of been totalled too. But the other place was just trying to make money. My frame was bent and yet they straighten it, front end was all smashed and they fixed the whole thing in a half ass way. Nate was able to make the insurance pay more for them to have the car fixed correctly. I'm sure the insurance wasn't too happy they ended out spending more than the car was worth by that time. But that's their fault. So it's been years since this happen, but since then I gone there for other minor hits, had both my sisters go there, when one was involved in a accident and other a hit a run. Also had my fiancé take his car and since I worked a auto repair shop (not body repair) told all my clients to go there when they needed work.
