Highly recommend! I usually get my services done at the dealership but after being quoted $400+ for a brake fluid flush that is recommended every 30k miles my car just hit 37k so I guess it was overdue. I decided to see if I could find a cheaper place, since it wasn't anything major, and I found that The Bimmer Guys was in the area with amazing reviews and half the price of the dealership. I made an appointment and was late, per usual, but they didn't mind. Got me in and out in 30 minutes. Professional and efficient. No complaints. I will be back read more

Great service and excellent rates. Just took my car for an annual oil change. My son had mentioned Jiffy Lube, they quoted me $175 . I went to Daniel when I first bought the car and immediately thought Good Vibes here. The owner worked as a mechanic at BMW for 15 years. The oil and filter change was $143! read more

I'm very glad I found this trustworthy place. No more getting robbed at the BMW dealership!!

I normally come to Bimmer Guys but took my X5 M50i to an unnamed dealer service department in the East Bay for an oil change due to scheduling constraints. I got there and had to endure the typical upsell tactics before they did the oil change and looked me in the eye and insisted my front differential was leaking. Despite not being able to answer all my questions on how they knew for certain, they quoted me 5 figures to replace. No lie. So I brought my car back to Bimmer Guys. They took a look at it on the rack and drove the car around. They explained that it looked like old residue from a previous oil change and they saw no sign of leaking. He cleaned it off, set an appointment a month later to see if the leak stains reappear. I came back 30 days later and the differential is still clean despite driving it around. I'm sure there are a lot of good mechanics out there but Bimmer guys are legit, professional, honest, and transparent. They have proven on multiple occasions that they are genuinely in business to help people and not get over or scam you. They have earned my trust and as long as I'm in a BMW, I will continue to use them to service and repair my vehicle. I highly recommend them if you're looking for an honest mechanic and tired of the dealership service experience. read more

I am not the kind of person that leaves reviews but I have to say this shop does excellent work, excellent customer service and very knowledgeable staff especially Daniel the owner. Very reasonable prices and can't stop thanking them, if you need a shop this is the one ! Thanks Daniel. read more

Brought my BMW to The Bimmer Guys for a handful of things--diff input shaft seal replacement, diff fluid and engine oil change, and they also helped me order an exhaust actuator harness through them. From the start, everything was super smooth. They were great about communication--fast to respond, quick with quotes, and really clear about what needed to be done. Pricing was very fair, especially for a BMW-specialized shop. What I really appreciated, though, was that when I brought up some concerns about my car that I wasn't even sure were valid, they didn't brush me off or make me feel crazy. They listened, inspected the car and found the issue. Work was done on time, no surprises, and the car's been running great since. I'll definitely be bringing it back here next time I need something done. Hard to find a shop that's this professional and easy to work with. read more

The Bimmer Guys - Rear diff seal replaced, diff fluid & oil change, - Auto Repair Near Me - Hayward, California

This team is awesome! Came in for a complete clutch and flywheel replacement and welded that pesky oil pump nut I've been hearing horror stories about. Daniel and his co-pilot were super professional, gave helpful feedback, and very communicative throughout the process I.e. part delays, troubleshooting, and ETAs. I really like the CRM they use to track communication, previous history, and general organization to make the best decisions / recs for your car. Oil light flicker gone! New clutch replacement completely transformed the driving experience. My car is an old e36 that needs a lot of tlc and very happy to have found the Bimmer Guys as my go-to place. Will come back and hopefully for upgrades! read more

We have an aging x3 that we love that needs more and more attention over time. After our coverage expired, we tried a few other local supposed BMW specialists in the neighborhood, but weren't happy with the service and didn't come away with confidence in the work being done. We finally stumbled across Bimmer Guys when they were still at their previous location, and their painless and flexible communication options (we can go through website or email or text or even yelp to request work) were the first sign that we were going to be happier here. We've had to have some major work done, some of which could be pretty pricey especially for an early 2000s vehicle, but the guys will always give us a variety of options, not always pressuring us to choose the most expensive choice. They explain the problems and work required in a very understandable way, despite us not being very knowledgeable about cars. They always seem to be earnest in trying to find the best solution to our problems, explaining commonly seen issues as well as things unique to our car (sometimes due to the poor life we've given it! ). They seem very honest and hardworking and knowledgeable -- they always remember the work done in the past and make sure to build upon it or investigate any unexpected failures if we continue to see the same problems, never 'accidentally' suggesting we perform the same maintenance when unnecessary. We're so glad we found these guys and will definitely be bringing any future BMWs to this shop! read more

The Bimmer Guys are legit. High-quality, no-BS service from people who actually know what they're doing. I had my brakes done at another shop and immediately started having issues. Brought the car to Daniel, he diagnosed it right away, swapped in better pads, and the problem was solved instantly. Super knowledgeable, honest, and efficient. This is where I'll be taking my BMW from now on. read more

The Bimmer Guys were great! Definitely people you can trust to take a look at your car! Highly recommend!

My 2016 320i was starting to overheat on a Thursday, found The Bimmer Guys on Google and decided to drop by the next morning since it was 2 miles away from me and had wonderful reviews. Although I didn't have an appointment, Daniel was able to take me in and replace my battery (which was also due) at that moment. We then tested the water pump afterwards and Daniel informed that it needed to be replaced. Although replacing a water pump is costly, I believe this place priced it very reasonably. Additionally, Daniel and his team were extremely informational and kind, which made me feel less intimidated as a woman going into an auto shop alone. The car was ready to go by Monday morning which I was super happy about the turnaround. I definitely recommend The Bimmer Guys as they are trustworthy, super knowledgeable and friendly people. Thank you Daniel and team!!! read more

Great start, middle and finish. I had a terrific experience with these guys. I came here because I knew I didn't want to pay the dealer $300 to "diagnose" my dead 12v battery. I also had some regular service items that needed tending to brake flush and oil change. I booked my appointment online and had my car towed to them. Their online tool to keep me appraised of the progress, to chat with me, to get approval for Repairs, etc. was super easy to use. Daniel was very responsive to my inquiries. He even ordered the battery in advance for me. He seems very knowledgeable about the i3's. The prices are reasonable and significantly lower than what the dealer would've charged. I also feel like I had a better customer service experience than the dealer. I will definitely be back. read more

1 year ago, my 2008 bmw 328i 95k miles was leaking oil from the oil pan. I contacted multiple shops that specialized in BMW repair in the area and decided to go with the Bimmer Guys based on the reviews, location and price. Daniel helped replace the oil pan gasket and bolts and engine mount. He did a fantastic job. Currently my car is at 100k and no leaks on the car. I will be back next time to service my BMW and will recommend others to come here for their BMW repairs. I will be back next time for my transmission fluid service. read more

I was referred to the bimmer guys by a friend who has had his cars serviced by them for a while now. Daniel was 100% true to my friend's description, straight shooter with no intention of up selling his services. I brought my M3 in for an oil leak and the rear subframe. He proceeded to explain to me where the leak was coming from and what the fix was, $300 fix vs a quote for $6k from a shop in Mountain View (previous owner's shop's quote). There was no up selling and no pressure to get anything done. If you're in the area, Daniel is definitely worth a visit. read more

Daniel and his team did a great job on my E90 M3. He gave me a very competitive price quote for rod bearing service and throttle actuator replacement and finished both jobs in a reasonable amount of time. Seems like a very honest and straightforward shop, excellent communication and didn't try to upsell me on anything. I plan on bringing my M3 back for future services, thanks guys! read more

Have been going to Daniel and crew for our e46 and e53 parts/needs. Phone calls and part orders are always met with assurance and assistance where needed - almost always same-day delivery for part sourcing. Recently brought in our old water pump with the fan clutch and pulley nearly welded on to the shaft (someone used blue loctite?!?!) and Daniel saved the day - was ZERO chance of us taking it off at home. Anyhow, regarding parts or work, I'd have no hesitation bringing in any work which I'm not able to do on my own to Bimmer Guys! Thanks again Daniel!!! 2004 e46 2006 e53 read more

These guys do great work and really know their stuff. Got an online quote to service my 20 year old car which was very reasonable. I have been taking my BMWs to Bimmer Guys for almost a decade now, and I will continue to keep doing so. If you can come to this dealership, do it, and you will not regret it. I 100% recommend this place, every time and would not go anywhere else for the quality of service, honesty, and value. Before I found them I was constantly being sold and persuaded to buying things for my car from tech advisors at dealerships that I didn't need. It was so hard to trust what anyone at a service dealership was telling me, because they were always trying to sell me something. However, Bimmer Guys is completely different. Daniel knows his BMWs, he has decades of experience, and does not try to sell you anything you don't need. His honesty is hard to find for BMW technicians and he is the best one around. With a quick call and explanation of what's wrong with your car, you will get an appointment. It is so easy, no drama, nothing extra. Pricing is reasonable, and I know that my car is getting the best of its care, with honest intention. read more

My son-in-law told me about this place, so I brought my 2001 Z3 in for an oil change, a new battery and some repairs. Daniel is real nice and so knowledgeable about BMW's. He called me with an estimate for everything and explained what was needed and why. He kept me current with progress and even ordered a trickle-charger for me at his cost, since I only drive this car in nice weather. I would recommend this shop to anybody who has a BMW and wants to keep it in good condition. Really impressive and positive experience. read more

This is the only BMW shop to go to in the Bay Area. I've been upsold and mislead by others in the past. I have been taking the 4-series to Daniel and his team for a few years now. Recently there was some thermal issues and Daniel informed me that the thermostat for my car was still under extended warranty from BMW. Instead of charging me for the labor and costs, he recommended I get it done for free through BMW, which is exactly what I did. I still had other work done through Bimmer Guys and they always have fair prices. Stay away from other shops that are dishonest and don't have your best interests at heart. read more

My Alpina B6 had some under carriage damage. Took it to BMW Fremont for quote - I thought, too expensive. Then found the Bimmer Guys on Internet, took B6 to get a quite. They did a full inspection (no cost), told AND then SHOWED me "all" the problems (includingany BMW Fremont missed), and prepared detailed estimate to fix. Expensive, but Alpina's R ALWAYS expensive. The "issues" BMW Fremont failed to disclose were of They type BMW Fremont would have "found" during their service, no doubt ranking up the bill from their original quote. I called this mechanic shop because I've seen it several times when dropping kids off and always wonder how they may be. I tried taking my vehicle there for a diagnosed since is in town, with no luck. The gentlemen who took my call advised me to go online and set an appointment even for topping off my fluids. I found this to be very inconvenient. If a light came on advising me to ad oil or coolant or brake fluids than I would not be able to take my car there for help and if I drove it it be at risk of causing damage to it. Not likely for me to call them in the future for these two reason, 1, having to set an appointment online and 2, not being able to get simple top off fluids to prevent ruining my vehicle! Overall experience?... not existent ‍ read more

I found Bimmer Guys on Yelp after being completely ripped off at BMW service department over and over. I have come here twice now and have been so impressed. I love being able to request service online, get a speedy response and get my car an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. Daniel is so nice, honest and upfront.
