I had worked with Mike before when he painted some custom parts for my Corvette, and in the past, I always had a good experience... especially when dealing with Karen, who was always a pleasure to work with. That's why I was shocked by how things went this time around. When I asked Mike about doing some new custom paint work, he cut me off immediately and said, "I'm not f***ing doing it." I tried to keep it professional and asked if he could at least recommend someone else who might be able to take on the job, but he flat-out refused that too... just said "Nope," and walked off. The whole thing was rude, unprofessional, and completely out of line, especially toward a returning customer. I've never been treated like that by a business I've supported before. It's disappointing, because my past experiences... particularly when Karen was involved... were always great. But after this, I won't be going back. read more

The couple that runs this spot is the best. They did incredible work on my Jeep and were adorable and sweet and on top of things even more so than I was. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing body work. I enjoyed chatting with the owners and I really really enjoyed getting my car back beautiful and in one piece. Wonderful work, wonderful team! I'd put off fixing pretty significant damage after a rear-end hit-and-run, then a family member sent me to CAB. They finished in time for me to drive my beautiful new car home for the holiday, and it looks and runs great. (I was trying to point out a bad scratch on my door to see if it could be polished out next, and the CAB guy said, "I took that out when I was doing the rear panel. He wanted his work to look good!) I really appreciated their hard work, friendly service - they picked me up from the train station at the end of the day - and the price was thousands less (yes, THOUSANDS) than the place my dealer had recommended. I knew that place was trying to scam me, but I was so lucky to be sent to CAB. They charged pretty much what my insurance quote was, and I was on my way. I was dealing with Karen who was a pleasure to deal with to buy a van that custom auto body is selling for their neighbor who went out of business. Mike the owner whom walks in with a nasty attitude tells me to come back when I have all the money that he refused to take a down pay. I had seen the Vans a week before with Karen and I was out in New Jersey to see another van which I did not like so I figured I would stop by custom Auto body to tell them I wanted one of their vans and I can leave a deposit . Then I said if I bring all the money and a dealer plate could I drive the van off the lot and mike responded he had told me that wasn't an option and he kicked me out. I thought he was joking and he said I'm not going to tell you again, I now told you twice to leave. As a business owner I would never treat anybody like this. read more

Excellent workmanship and customer service seems to be their motto. I brought my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee to Custom Auto Body (CAB) after a recent accident which damaged the right front fender and bumper. CAB's price to repair the damage was the same amount as the insurance estimate. They replaced the fender and bumper and the paint matching was so perfect I am unable to detect that the car was in an accident. In addition, I noticed that CAB repaired some scratches in the left fender, which were not related to the accident. The work was completed on time and the office staff are very pleasant. from start to finish... it was a fantastic experience. Besides doing an excellent job and a timely repair on my van, Custom Auto Body helped me through the insurance process and took all the worry away. They set up a rental for me and kept me informed on the progress of my car. Being in an accident (especially when it is not your fault) is traumatizing enough, but having to deal with the insurance company and making sure the right parts are approved by the insurance company is not for the faint of heart consumer. The attention to detail in the initial inspection of the vehicle and then again when it was taken apart was outstanding. .The day I went to pick up my car it was washed and sparkling clean. The color was perfect. Bridget and Michael of Custom Auto Body took care of everything.You would never be able to tell that my van was in an accident.
