I have a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer. I take care of my car. I brought my car to Stankovich shop on October 28, 2025, to have the hood painted. The paint job was spot on. The match was perfect. I would recommend his service to anyone. He told me to drop it off on Monday or Tuesday and he would have it ready by Thursday. The only hold up was the compound he needed to use on the car. I did see it on Thursday, and it looked great!!! He just needed to finish with the buffing of the hood and give it to me. True to form, the car was ready for Thursday but needed to wait until Friday to pick it up. NICE JOB!!! read more

Amazing Experience with Outstanding Work! My daughter recently had her first car accident, and the front bumper, hood, light, and a few other things needed repairs. This shop was highly recommended, and they truly lived up to the praise! Bobby & Robert were incredible, they provided a solid estimate, kept me informed every step of the way, and the workmanship was beyond outstanding. THE MANAGER DOES NOT RESPECT WOMEN! THE WAY THE MANAGER TREATED ME IS DISPICABLE! I decided to fix my car at this auto shop because of my dad's acquaintance's recommendation. The first time I was informed my vehicle was "ready," it was not. This shop should have inspected my car properly before claiming it was ready. I took my car home, and parts of my bumper were coming off, and the fenders were not properly placed. Most importantly, my headlights and tail lights were not functioning correctly. Their work is sloppy! I went first thing in the morning and informed him of their mistakes on my vehicle. The parts needed to have my car back to normal were taking forever, and he recommended I take my car back home and bring it back when the pieces came in. I informed him that I could not keep my vehicle under these unsafe conditions because I am a student who drives to school at night, and I also work. I need a safe, functioning car. I do not comprehend how this shop calls itself a business! The second time I was called in to pick up my vehicle, I was accompanied to verify that my car was safe to drive. The manager was muttering under his breath (that I was looking for something to complain about) and insisted that my vehicle was acceptable because the manufacturers' service center claimed that everything was functioning. What's it to him if I check my car not once but twice? I had a terrible accident in which I couldn't walk for the first few days and missed a few work days. So, I was receiving checks from the insurance company. This shop later filed a supplement for my headlights and other parts. The check was sent to my address. I was unaware that this check was for the auto shop because before they serviced my vehicle, I signed a document that any payments from the insurance would be directed to them. The manager inquired about the check, and I told him that I had deposited the check in my bank account. He proceeded to CALL ME INDECENT FOR NOT INFORMING HIM THAT I HAD RECEIVED THIS CHECK! ALLUDING THAT I WAS A THIEF! I don't know who this man thinks he is, but he did not regard his tone with me. I do not understand how this auto shop conducts business and falsely accuses customers of indecency. I am a full-time student, work, and have to go to therapy three times a week. My schedule is hectic, and I informed him that I would drop off the check the following week and, hell, let loose. I DID NOT refuse to renounce the check. All I asked was to be provided with an extension until the next week, and he DID NOT CEASE his arrogance toward me and was very condescending. The insurance provided this auto shop with thousands of dollars to provide a vehicle up to the standards of their motto, " ​LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED!". They indeed failed to meet the standards of their motto. I do not understand why I was still treated like this. I am young and do not like to vilify individuals but I had to share my experience. A minivan stopped short in front of me on 3/31/18. In trying to avoid hitting it, I swerved to the left and bounced off the guard rail a bit before regaining control of my car. As a result the front driver side bumper was damaged and dangling off. Hood bashed in a bit. Light broken and there was also some bending near the axle (?) and a few other things. It wasn't what I would call a major accident, but not something I could leave as is. I had to involve my insurance. They came out and deemed it a total loss. Not sure if it was due to the age (9yrs), mileage (130+) or because Saturn's are no longer being made. I'm sure the price they quoted to repair it of around $5k was a major part of it. I was due to go abroad for what was to likely be a stressful week in the UK and the following week and the last thing I needed was to have to deal with car issues. A co-worker recommended Stankovich. It's close to my office so I went on my lunch break and explained my situation to Mr. Stankovich. He was so very nice, told me not to worry and assured me that he would take care of me at a fair price. I left my car there while I was away. Came back a week later to it looking like new. I couldn't even tell where the damage was. I had some dings and paint off on my door that had nothing to do with the accident and he even fixed those! They weren't even included in the quote he had given me! I made sure to wait a few months before posting this review to really be able to speak on the quality of the work. It's been 5 mths and my car is still running as before the accident. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with this auto body shop. It's right on Rte 27 and while the outside may not have any curb appeal, do NOT let that stop you from going inside. I am 100% satisfied and while I hope to never get into another accident, if I do, this is the ONLY place I'll bring my car. I highly recommend Stankovich Auto Body to any and everyone. Well, I want to tell ANYONE who needs auto body work done on their car in the Somerset area to please go to Stankovich Auto Body shop at 901 Somerset Street, Somerset. Please Tell Greg, the manager, I sent you. This is the second time I needed some help with my car. Greg and his team are THE BEST! He was so kind, so fair, the guys did excellent work, he had the car ready in no time. He offered me a ride home while I had to leave the car to get fixed. He called me a few times to let me know the progress. And after I came home and saw a mark I couldn't get off he said bring it back to me as soon as you can. They fixed that. I could not be happier with my experience at stankovich auto body. someone backed into the front of my car and broke the fog light out of the bumper. I had my front bumper replaced and new fog light installed. The owner, Anthony, was so nice and so honest. the estimate he gave me was extremely reasonable, and they also replaced a burnt out fog light on the opposite side for no extra charge. I had a terrific experience at Stankovich Auto Body. My car was scratched and dented down the entire passenger's side. I had gotten several estimates from auto body shops in the area, and saved hundreds of dollars by going to Stankovich. His guys did an AMAZING job. My car looks brand new again. The staff are all very courtesy and helpful. The owner is experienced and extremely helpful. Knowing that it's not my fault that my front and rear bumper and my trunk got hit in a 4 or 5-car accident when the 2nd car from the front, after the red right, made a left turn and slowed down, he went out of his way to drop me to my dealership ca. 6 miles away to pick up a rental car. In addition, when my car was ready, he picked me up from my home 5 miles away, so I could then drive my car (looks brand new) home. read more
