I called Underwater Enviornments and they carry a sedative they use for koi fish. I was able to euthanize my fish with minimal distress to him. While we were at the shop, we admired their fish. The fish are healthy and lively. The water is clean and they are all given sufficient dpace to swim. There are some really gorgeous coloration and varieties. I though the pricing for these fish was much more affordable compared to pricing I've seen elsewhere for this quality. Also, despite being winter, the pond plants were lush and beautiful. They carry some uncommon aquatic plants that others sometimes carry but the size of these plants and health is way higher.

(Though we do bring our own supplies but nice to have backup from the store.) There 4 stations and they are constantly cleaning/sanitizing after each use (so far what I saw). They've been there for me when something mechanical needed work. And they've cared for my koi when one would need help. At the yearly koi show in Del Mar, my koi from Koiland took many first placements in their classes. A visit to their ponds is a relaxing experience. They're very happy to discuss the points about any of the fish you might be interested in. A few years ago I sold my property with the koi ponds and needed to rehome my koi. James of Koiland accepted back my koi. I knew they'd be in good hands with them. As sad as I was that I had to give them up, I was relieved that Koiland had them. When you step inside, you are surrounded by all kinds of healthy natural treats, a wide array of dog food choices, and cute apparel for your pups! What really blew me away was how responsive Rob the groomer was. He met with me, discussed grooming options, and was transparent about pricing, which was super fair. When it came time to bring in my girls, he did an incredible job washing them, cutting their nails, brushing their teeth, and giving my labradoodle the exact cut I had wanted for her. I was impressed by Rob's friendliness and expertise. Jazzed by his amazing work, I set up a second grooming appointment. I knew I had to do it in advance, because Rob can get pretty booked up! About a week before bringing my pups in, my labradoodle had terrible diarrhea and made a mess of herself (and my place). I reached out to Rob, and he told me was totally inundated with appointments, but would fit her in just to bathe her. Later that day, I dropped off my very dirty and soiled labradoodle. When I came to pick her up, she was a vision! She was sparkly white and looked like she had a Brazilian blowout! The amount of compassion and level of attention he still managed to give her on a very crazy day brought tears to my eyes. Today was both my pups' appointment day. I got to meet the owner Andrew, and he is super engaging and passionate about his space. I was again completely dazzled by how clean and well cared for my dogs were. I am grateful to Andrew, Rob, and this place of business for being so fantastic! It is no wonder Top Dog was suggested repeatedly to me, and now I highly recommend them, too!
