I called Underwater Enviornments and they carry a sedative they use for koi fish. I was able to euthanize my fish with minimal distress to him. While we were at the shop, we admired their fish. The fish are healthy and lively. The water is clean and they are all given sufficient dpace to swim. There are some really gorgeous coloration and varieties. I though the pricing for these fish was much more affordable compared to pricing I've seen elsewhere for this quality. Also, despite being winter, the pond plants were lush and beautiful. They carry some uncommon aquatic plants that others sometimes carry but the size of these plants and health is way higher.

She opened up the box and confirmed everything was out. She went away to grab the supplies and refilled. The self serve dog wash at petco was supposed to be a convenient place with all supplies provided, and a clean area. It was the complete opposite. I do not recommend. Ed (or Eddie) helped me with my return quickly and graciously, even without tags or a receipt. When I went to look at collars, another employee (whose name I sadly missed) kindly pointed out that the ones I had chosen might be too big for my Frenchie. She took the time to explain how to check fit--making sure you can only slip two fingers under the collar so the dog can't wiggle out. Her expertise and kindness really stood out. At checkout, Marti helped me with my purchase. On my way up I accidentally knocked over a display, but she didn't hesitate to pick everything up and still treated me kindly and patiently. She even guided me through fixing my card in the reader when I inserted it wrong. Even though I was frazzled and in a rush, she treated me with the same professionalism and friendliness as the customer before me. I just want to say thank you to the whole team at this location. They are consistently hands-on, knowledgeable, and kind. Today was no exception--I left feeling truly grateful for the help and care they showed me. Hank and Honey love their new harnesses.

They've been there for me when something mechanical needed work. And they've cared for my koi when one would need help. At the yearly koi show in Del Mar, my koi from Koiland took many first placements in their classes. A visit to their ponds is a relaxing experience. They're very happy to discuss the points about any of the fish you might be interested in. A few years ago I sold my property with the koi ponds and needed to rehome my koi. James of Koiland accepted back my koi. I knew they'd be in good hands with them. As sad as I was that I had to give them up, I was relieved that Koiland had them.
