We were charged up front for services and when Dr Duenas finally noticed 11 teeth that needed to be removed first he went ahead and made the impressions anyway. I have requested a refund for $830 and they have been gaslighting me for two weeks. There is poor communication, sloppy assessments of the work that they are quoting and requesting payment for. They have verbally changed the course of the treatment three times but only verbally never in writing as I finally requested. I just don't recommend them. There's too many other good dentist in town.

We had a situation today where my fiancés appointment would not be covered by his insurance by a couple days but was scheduled and not informed. I suggest if there is a blast of confirmation texts being sent out/ courtesy calls a week prior, multiple parties should double check to see if a patient is due. The treatment coordinator was professional and offered to accommodate a late appointment since he had taken off work today. the office was not able to do courtesy X-rays or an exam. I would appreciate whoever is overlooking this office would give me a call and re assure me this mistake won't happen again, since I believe we are not the only ones that has gone through this.

Once there the receptionist who personally spoke with me on the phone took the time to check me in and made me feel comfortable. I have extreme anxiety and cart a lot of shame and embarrassment for my teeth. Once I was taken back each employee I interacted with were kind and did not make me feel bad for how I felt or why I was there. They explained everything and were very gentle. Once I met the dentist he took the time he did not have to explain a plan to me and sent me to home with a plan and some antibiotics. Like I said after years of shame and embarrassment due to previous dentist I had visited i was able to leave with hope and a little less fear of future dental appointments in the future. The office with clean, easy to get to, plenty of parking and very caring people.

I had many questions, and he took the time to answer every single one without making us feel rushed. The appointment was a long one and it was right before closing time, at the end of a busy workday, but Paul and the team continued to be professional, caring, and attentive. I truly appreciate the patience and compassion he showed my daughter. It made a stressful dental visit so much easier for both of us. Thank you, Paul, for taking such great care of her!

That immediately didn't sit right. When my wife asked simple, reasonable questions, she felt dismissed and was even asked if she needed a translator, despite speaking English the entire time. That came across as disrespectful and made it clear her concerns weren't being taken seriously. We got a second opinion, and another dentist told us that level of treatment is highly unusual for a child this age. That was a huge red flag. Some staff were kind, but the long wait and overall experience were disappointing. Parents -- trust your instincts, ask questions, and don't hesitate to get a second opinion when something feels off.

One of those wisdom teeth were sideways and near jaw muscles. Damn, thing bled for a minute, but it was because I had the gauze in the wrong spot! BUT, everyone there was great. Had great meds after and didn't even need more than one painkiller to help eat the first day! Take it from me and I've been under at least 4 times. Anesthesia was the perfect amount! Didn't wake up like I was back in college after a bender and didn't feel much the first night. His staff was great! Shout out to Evaristo, Luiza and Melissa! They were the great staff who got me through my extractions. They called the afternoon of my surgery and gave me suggestions to keep pain-free! Great team! Great doctor! I'd go again if I could, but won't need his services anymore!

I will never forget Brian Mudd…read more So, this is like 13 years late... but years ago, Dr Mudd extracted 6 teeth from me. He removed my wisdom teeth, and two broken molars. I was supposed to get bone grafts to later get implants. I'm super scared of dentists, so they put me under - which was awesome! Unfortunately, the beginning of the nightmare was waking up in the middle of surgery... anyway, once I woke up in recovery, Dr Mudd came in and said that I had the hardest jaw he's ever worked with and told me that they didn't do the grafts because of some complications. Okay, I guess... A week went by and I was in a TON of pain... I called the office and to see if it was normal to still be bleeding and also because my tongue, mouth, lips, were all numb! They said it was normal and keep up care; so I did. Another week or so went by, bleeding stopped and as I was eating lunch, I felt a scratch in my throat. When I coughed, I coughed up a broken piece of DENTAL BURR (later confirmed by a different dentist) that had been lodged in my throat! It looked like a tiny conical drill bit. At this point, I went to another surgeon for a second opinion. They conducted 360° x rays, and showed me that Dr Mudd actually broke my jaw and that the interior side of my mandible had sheered in two and was pinching my nerve... they also showed me that there were dozens of bone shards that were about to push their way through my gums (which they did)! Over the course of the next month, my new surgeon helped me extract the bone fragments and kept an eye on my healing... In the meantime, I was trying to build a case for malpractice, but every lawyer I spoke to told me that Dr Mudd is often used as an expert witness and they would only take my case if I could pay out of pocket because I would likely lose... one lawyer advised me to not speak to the Dr because he said they would likely build a case against me and I would "definitely lose"... as a broke 20-something, I kept on trying to find help, and eventually gave up because I didn't have the money that they told me it would cost to do anything... the one lawyer that actually said he could win was weirdly the lawyer from the band "Rancid"; he's a friend of a friend and said it was "negligence per se", BUT he was too busy and couldn't take my case... after that I was utterly defeated. Like I said, it's been about a decade since then and most of my pain has resolved, but my nerve is still damaged and my lip from about center to the right corner of my mouth is actually HYPER sensitive and always feels like it's asleep. I'm really only writing this in hopes that he sees it, and also because I just had an awesome dental experience and it reminded me of how horrible my last one was... Moral of the story...? I don't know... don't be a broke kid? Research your surgeon?

Everything seemed fine at first, but over time, I noticed my teeth were moving very slowly. At one point, my parents scheduled me for a cleaning at The Super Dentists across the street. Since I was a first-time patient there, they asked about my dental history. When I told them how long I had been wearing braces, they were surprised--by that point, my teeth should have made much more progress. My mom decided to have them take a closer look, and that's when we realized that Dr. Vazquez was a general dentist, not an orthodontist. Because of this, I had to get my braces completely removed and redone by an actual orthodontist, which meant I had to wear them for even longer than necessary. While Dr. Vazquez's general dental services were fine, this situation was frustrating and felt like a huge waste of time & MONEY If you're looking for routine dental care, he might be okay, but if you need orthodontic treatment, I highly recommend going to a specialist from the start.
