This office is so calm, and has such kind and efficient staff. I went in to get invisalign (clear, plastic braces) as a senior in college, they were so accommodating to my long-distance situation. They even took the time to take the invisalign off a couple days before graduation so I could have a clear smile for pictures, and put them back on the day after. If you have found Dr. McRae's office consider yourself lucky! That is how I feel having discovered this extraordinary dentist and office staff. I was looking for a new dentist and a local endodontist (Dr. Sherman) recommended Dr. McRae. The recommendation was very high and so I gave it a try. During the first call to the office the accommodating and warm receptionist made it clear that this medical group was outstanding, organized and valued each patient, even new ones like me. They worked around my work schedule and got me in for my initial first visit. Since that time almost three years ago, I have grown to know and rely on Dr. McRae and his staff for both my routine and more challenging dental needs. I have had my basic dental cleanings done with great attention and care since becoming a patient. But where this office stands apart is in addressing my more complicated dental issues. Dr. McRae and all of the office member took such great care of me in a collaborative effort to help me with a full set of veneers. One year prior to coming to Dr. McRae, I had a brand new set of porcelain veneers put on to replace a set that I had for twenty years. Unfortunately, the veneers were not a good fit and were causing me so many problems. I was so upset and sad about my situation and was so afraid to get another, third set. We decided to start the process of replacing the problematic veneers and I'd like to describe the care and attention that went into my treatment. Each phase was planned out meticulously over six months. Dr. McRae gave so much thought, time and attention to creating an experience and outcome that was easy for me. He took many photos and consulted with me patiently on each and every tooth. Not one time ever did he waiver from his steadfast attention and care. He is an artist and cared so much about how I felt with my new teeth. The thing that I am most grateful for is Dr. McRae always considered the overall aesthetic look of my teeth while including me, listening to my preferences and gently nudging me towards the best outcome. I am so appreciative of this quality in a cosmetic dentist, and he is just outstanding. I love my new smile! And while Dr. McRae is an superb practitioner, he is supported by a very gentle and caring dental assistant staff. They each share the same care and concern that can be consistently felt at each visit for any treatment. The office manager Holly, and coordinator Ana are a huge part of the collaborative team that make this office outstanding. Holly assisted me tirelessly throughout my veneer replacement treatment and I relied on her to help me schedule and navigate insurance. After many horrible experiences with different corporate dental offices (due to my employers insurance) I was introduced to Dr. Mcrae after getting married and put on my husbands dental insurance. It was a total 180 degree difference! Dr. McRae and his staff are honest, trustworthy, and have really friendly customer service - it feels like you're seeing old friends every time you come back for a cleaning/ check up. I prefer Wendy for my cleanings because not only is she great at what she does but it's always fun to catch up on what's going on with our kids etc but my husband goes to Rene (because of his work schedule) and likes her very much as well. Wendy now is my kids hygienist (ages 8 ,6 and 3) and she's so great with them, making them feel comfortable and actually gets them to sit still for a whole cleaning. The few times I've.had to get a cavity filled or any other dental work done, Dr. Mcrae and his assistants have always been really good at making it as efficient and comfortable as possible. Anna and Holly manage the billing/ insurance and they both are great at explaining all of the out of pocket costs and I've always felt the costs were very fair compared to the previous dental practices I've been to . I was a patient of Dr. McRae for many years until a change in insurance forced me to switch. Fast forward 12 years: Thankfully my insurance has changed again and I was able to go back. I had a cleaning & X-rays a few weeks ago - all was efficient, friendly, and courteous. The doc still has a great staff, from the front desk to the hygienist. Today I went to get 2 fillings. Wah! I hate being in the chair. But he's really good at doing the shots so they don't hurt too much and yet made things thoroughly numb. Shots were the hardest part yet not bad at all. They finished 2 fillings in under an hour, and tonight Dr. McRae (just like he did 12 years ago) called me personally to see how I was doing. "I'm doing great! Thank you!" He and his staff are personable, compassionate, skilled, and efficient. Like most, I don't like going to the dentist, but these great folks make it easier. I have never had a more pleasant dental experience than what I discovered at Dr. McRae's. I felt welcomed from the moment I first stepped into the waiting room.
