One of the guys told me the previous mechanic "cross threaded the lug nuts and to replace them is $360" which is unfortunate but I also heard them tell two other people the same thing during my wait which I found sort of suspicious. It took them 30 minutes from the time they told me they needed to be replaced to the car being done and that labor fee was $254...... Without this absurd labor fee for a less then 30 minute job my review would be much higher. I usually take my car to No Limit but since it was my moms car I thought they'd be fine, and they were very nice but I wish I woulda went to no limit and saved time and money. Dave efficiently removed the nail-free of charge! However, the tire lost air pressure, which required me to purchase a new tire. I walked into the business (without scheduling an appointment) and met Dave again. He clearly and thoroughly explained the service to be done on my vehicle. He sat down next to me, showing me a detailed report of the business's courtesy vehicle inspection. I was impressed by how friendly/intimate the conversation was. Then, the manager asked the reason for my arrival-after a 10-minute wait. I told the manager why I was there, explaining I required a "ride-share inspection". The manager acted confused, saying he would perform a "courtesy inspection". I emphasized that this was a "ride-share inspection" scheduled through an app (CarAdvise). The manager became defensive, interrupting my sentences. He refused to take responsibility for the appointment, suggesting I "call CarAdvise". He proceeded to sit down, go on his phone, and ignore my presence for at least 20 minutes. (I am writing this review as I am in the shop.) I would not recommend this location because of the disrespect and lack of professionalism from its manager.

I went into the shop a couple of weeks before and paid around $500 for my brakes to be looked and and completed. I was told at the time that the brakes were good but in the next couple of months I would need to possibly replace the brakes and rotors which I understood. As soon as I left off the lot and got home I was backing up and heard a squeeking noise. I called the shop and informed them I would be bringing it back in. I took the vehicle in and was informed that the tech was gone for the day due to him being in overtime and my brakes would not be able to be looked at which irritated me because that was not told to me when I scheduled the appointment. I then spoke with Leo who stated he was the manager and that my vehicle was making the noise because I don't drive a lot. Leo informed me that he took the vehicle for a drive sped and braked real fast and the noise went away. I left to go home and began hearing the noise again I am just very disappointed in the service I received, and I have never experienced this before which is why I went back. The hard part was trying to find a dealer that would do the work for a manageable price. This is where Midas came in. After speaking with Steve (manager) throughout the week, he assured that I could just leave the car and the part would be installed. Couple of hours later after dropping the car off, Steve called me and told me the good news: the car was complete! Steve told me that my old flex pipe was pretty much destroyed, which I had figured already. One month later after the new flex pipe was installed, my car is still running smooth. No aftereffects, no mechanical problems, no bull. All for $100 (well, $106 if you include tax). Excellent job, Midas.

They really worked with you and put recommendations for service on the receipt, no pressure. The focus is fixing the most urgent matters first. His prices are reasonable. Car care isn't cheap and I am willing to pay for quality. I don't go elsewhere because I know Glen won't rip me off. I am grateful to have an honest mechanic in Glen.
