Chicken Tikka Masala ( Medium "12")
    Jetrina M.

I was visiting a friend in Utah and we decided to come here for dinner. It was pretty empty when we arrived but was filling up by the time we left! The inside is incredibly cute and decorated. We ordered the cheese paneer samosas and the medium sized chicken tikka masala pizza. They don't allow you to try two flavors on the pizza. The food came out pretty quickly after ordering. The samosas were delicious and filling. The pizza had a very thin crust and was cooked well. Free parking in the shared lot in front.

We always love coming to this place. Staff is so nice and helpful and the food is fantastic! The Honey Curry pizza is our favorite. We get it every time. The traditional Indian food is also excellent. I've never had a bad meal here!

I liked this place. I went with my siblings on a Wednesday night and we were pleasantly surprised when this artist started playing live music half way through our meal. The singer passed out a list of songs and paper to take requests. Go on a Wednesday night! The food was really good. Don't be fooled by the name, they don't just serve pizza! They have curry dishes & garlic naan that come out piping hot w/wonderful fragrances. We all got different curries and shared them; the mango korma was my favorite! the butter chicken was a close second. The servers working our table were super attentive. They gave good recommendations and our beverages were never empty; they were very polite as well.

I am from California and came to Utah to visit family. I was super excited to try this restaurant and see what all the hype was about. Let me tell you I was not disappointed!! This was the best Indian food I have ever had. The food was full of flavor and everything was fresh. The Bhinda Special pizza is a must if you come here, it was delicious. We also tried the butter chicken that was so creamy and absolutely the best. The garlic Naan was full of flavor I couldn't stop eating it. The veggie Samosa had the perfect crunch and delicious flavor. I tried mango chicken korma for the first time and it was probably my favorite dish! I am so happy I had the opportunity to eat here before heading back to California. Everyone was super friendly and the service was excellent!! My only wish is they open a restaurant in California !

Chicken Tikka, Saag Paneer, and Baigan Bangan Bhartha

My office is located nearby. The aroma of delicious Indian Food was so strong that we had to change our lunch plans. We ordered the Chicken Tikka, Saag Paneer, and Baigan Bhartha. The first two were excellent. The Baigan Bhartha was just so, so. The ambiance inside feels a little dark and they still have all of the equipment for a buffet. The owner should either offer a buffet of declutter the dining area. I have had the pizza in the past and it is excellent as well.

So this restaurant came recommended to us by native Rachel and thank god we had a chance to dine here at least one while we were here. If we stayed just a few days more beyond the 2 week window, for sure we would've headed back. We had dinner here on a Thursday night and we were given suggestions on what to order and for the most part we stayed on course. The big takeaway was everything we ordered was fresh and delicious!! We started off with the vegetable Samosa's and what I liked about this was it had less dough that usual samosas. Then we did the Garlic Naan which was super garlicky and super amazing!! It had a wonderful buttery taste to it! Then we split two dishes with the first being the Chicken Tikka Masala with mozzarella, bell peppers, tomatoes, green onions, jalapeños, cilantro & house seasoning on tikka masala curry! I mean I had something like this in KC and this was a much better experience than that time 10 years ago. That crust was so light and thin, perfection!!! Not shown we also ordered the Biryani Paneer which was sooo good! I wish this place was in Chicago - please expand!!!

This was my first time dining in at Curry Pizza Kitchen and it made me love this place even more! The food was outstanding!! We chose to get a new pizza and try an appetizer and neither disappointed us. I've tried almost every curry pizza on the menu and I love them all. The best part? I think these pizzas taste even better the next day. And the samosas were some of the best I've ever had. They were HUGE! But made very well. Next time you're in the mood for pizza, make it Curry Pizza.

Very poor, I would not recommend. Chicken was chunks of meat that were tough and had little taste. Was a complete waste of time and money.

This was my family's first trip to Jalwa since it used to be the former Aroma Indian restaurant…read morethat we have patronized for years. The new interior refresh is nice, modern, and inviting...and a pleasant departure from the typical Indian restaurant... Although I think some modern cultural artwork, paintings, and decorations would be very fitting as an add-on to the Jalwa restaurant. Our waiter was very pleasant (although he spoke in hushed tones...and it was difficult to hear him.) He also got a little confused as to what we were looking for with respect to just wanting the papadums with chutney (which is a standard appetizer at most Indian restaurants that we've patronized,) but instead we got vegetable pakora with chutney and just plain papadums on the side. Hmmmm. Nevertheless, it was all delicious. My wife's main entree was the butter chicken, and we both shared a saag aloo. I had my go-to chicken vindaloo, and it was delicious. The portion sizes are humongous, which is a nice departure from the typical Indian restaurant where you pay $15 and get maybe half the bowl that Jalwa provides. Overall, an excellent experience and will be back to patronize more often. Oh, and they're newly updated and revised menu is awesome! Dozens and dozens of options. It took us at least 10 minutes to get through it all to figure out what we wanted! Four stars for good food (and plenty of it), good service, and a nice new atmosphere as compared to Aroma. Absolutely recommend!

Service: Quick and friendly. Food: Got the Sesame Crispy Potato, garlic potatoes, and the chicken tikka masala. Everything was pretty good tbh and they definitely do not skimp on the spice when you ask for it which was a pleasant surprise! The tikka masala was a bit sweeter than I'd like and I ran out of meat way before I ran out of the curry, but it was good. Overall, decent Indian place. Nothing amazing, but it's got everything you need.

What? An AYCE Buffet that actually cares about quality? Amazing…read more Just about everything I ate was very good. I had mash potatoes and beef gravy, battered shrimp, coconut shrimp, salmon, fried chicken, roast beef, roast chicken, ham, scone (with honey butter, yum), roll (with cinnamon hone butter, yum), clam chowder, horchata. All were enjoyable. Well, the roast beef was a bit dry and a tad tough, the salmon was slightly overcooked (as expected) but was acceptable and a nice addition to their menu. The apple crisp was good as was the lava cake and rice pudding. Even the fries were good. I am impressed how good everything was. The service was very nice. They clear your table of dirty dishes and offer to get you refills of drinks. When you pay at the beginning, ask for some cash to tip them. If you forget, you can run your card again and get some cash to leave a tip on the table. They were very pleasant and even when passing you by, they smile. It was a nice restaurant, very comfortable. I had a booth. The tables are nice and conducive to large parties. My favorite AYCE restaurant so far! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
