2 lunch specials...

Stopped with my wife and we both got the Lunch Specials... cam back the next day for dinner. I great spot, flavor is excellent, I hope to eat here a couple more time before we leave. 5 stars...

Words can't describe the feeling you get after eating at this establishment. I have probably been here over 20 times this year alone, and notably have never had a single complaint. The food is seasoned with spices that should be in a damn museum. Not only is the food incredible, but it comes out within 10 minutes max. The workers are amazing, and will give recommendations. After my most recent visit, as I thought curry and kebab couldn't satisfy anymore, my favorite song started playing. It was a religious experience, and I will forever return.

This used to be my go too spot when I sold beer up in Boulder like 6 years ago. Sadly I don't often find myself in boulder anymore so when my husband suggested meeting me for lunch here last week it was a no brainer. The food here really is phenomenal! Menu is small which allows them to really perfect the options they offer. Great value as you get a ton of naan, a lot of rice, a huge portion of whatever you select and a crispy onion app. They also recently just started allowing you to choose two options which is even better. I love getting a meat and veggie so this was perfection. I really love Curry n Kebab and should make a point of driving up to boulder more often so I can keep supporting them. If anyone is worth it they are!

I gave Curry n Kebob a 4 star review before but I have to say, after having the lunch special here again ($11), I have to bump it up to 5 stars. Is it the most amazing Indian food you'll have? No. But for the price, I'd be surprised if one can find a better deal. Just a tip for spicy food lovers, the hot spice level here did not strike me as spicy at all. Very hot is the way to go!

Chana Masala special.

Stopped in while visiting family in Boulder. Great menu with plenty of vegetarian options and the staff are very knowledgeable on what is vegetarian and what is vegan. We split a bunch of dishes to include Chana Masala, bindi masala and some tofu saag. All were outstanding with the few we ordered hot arriving with a good amount of heat, perfect. Great depth of flavor. The naan was well above average and our specials arrived with some samplers of dahl and some sweet cut up pineapple. Plenty of food, we ordered apps but it wasn't necessary. I do wish I could have had a beer with dinner but they don't serve.

Looooved our brunch at The Kitchen! We walked in with no reservation at around 11:30 and were able…read moreto snag a table right away. The space is cozy and bright. I loved the big chandeliers and brick wall. Our server, Skylar, was fantastic. She was personable, welcoming, and enhanced the entire dining experience. My friend and I started with the churro donuts to share. These were the perfect sweet treat (because who can have brunch without something sweet for the table?) It comes with a dulce de leche and a coffee anglaise that was so delicious. For my main I went with the fireside eggs. This was exceptional! Flavourful shakshuka with perfectly poached eggs, avocado and feta served alongside naan bread. This meal was comforting and delicious without being overly filling. I can't recommend The Kitchen enough! If I'm ever back in Boulder I will definitely be back. I would love to try the lunch or dinner menu!

What started as a promising dinner turned into a disappointing experience, especially considering…read morethe restaurant's premium pricing. We were seated promptly for our 7:45 p.m. reservation. The service was excellent, and the drinks and appetizers (carrots, beets, arancini, and gnocchi) were all very good and arrived surprisingly quickly. At 8:30 p.m., we were told that our ribeye, ordered medium rare, had been overcooked to medium well. The manager apologized and said they would prepare another one. She also offered complimentary garlic fries ( very tasty) and desserts, which we appreciated. At 9:08 p.m., the replacement steak finally, but this time it was rare, possibly even blue rare. We sent it back again. At 9:15 p.m., it returned mostly medium rare, although several pieces were still noticeably undercooked. To make matters worse, the butter sauce was so overpowering that it completely masked the flavor of the beef. By this point, we were tired and declined the offer of free dessert. And more frustratingly, despite two failed attempts to properly cook their signature entree, the $155 steak, and a lengthy delay, no adjustment was offered. I politely asked if something could be done, and they removed the carrots from our bill - comping an order of carrots after mishandling a $155 steak twice seemed like a pretty weak gesture. I've dined at many excellent restaurants in my hometown of Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, and internationally. Mistakes happen, but what separates a great restaurant from an average one is how it handles them. When your prices are 10-15% higher than comparable restaurants, expectations are understandably higher as well. Would I return? Possibly. The service was excellent, and the appetizers were good enough to warrant another visit. But I would definitely think twice before ordering another steak. Overall, a disappointing experience where both the kitchen's execution and management's response should have been considerably better.

Our fave Mediterranean sit down restaurant is in Denver so we were hoping this would become our local go to. Located conveniently just off of 28th street we easily found parking. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We were delighted by all the pastries (various baklava and more), grab and go breads and dips, grocery offerings as well as the huge menu for food. I went for a chicken plate while my partner went for a gyro plate. Our meals were cooked expertly and ready within minutes & we ate right in the market. Our plates were so inviting with fresh salad, feta, tzatziki, olives and fresh warm soft bread. Everything tasted so great we didn't even take a picture. We also indulged in a couple pistachio baklava pastries - yum. Recommending to all our friends and can't wait to go back.

Even the gyro was pretty decent flavor wise, just a touch on the small side for the money IMO. Biggest issue and why I have to rate it low is biting right into a toothpick and thought I chipped my tooth...Not sure if quality control or what but shouldn't happen and quite the disappoint. I was already too far to go back.

I rarely eat Indian cuisine as many of the sauces and spices include ingredients that I am…read moresensitive to (not in a good way) even when they smell delicious. This is one of the local restaurants I have gone to in the past with friends who adored it. The same is true of another local favorite. It is not them, it is me. Recently, at the Yelp Camp Colorado event, I spotted the mango lassi drink samples at one end of the food truck display and the food (bites) were at the other end. Since the table of cups was monitored but easy to grab, with no line like the food bites, I enjoyed a sample. Best flavor Mango lassi I had ever had. Wanting another such drink today, I looked online for that food truck and it was noted that they were associated with Taj Indian Cuisine here in Boulder and in a shopping center quite close to my house. So my husband and I took off to get some to have with some items at home, for lunch. The sign for the Food Truck Tuk Took Bites was still in their window but has some sections crossed off in marker. Not knowing the full story we went in to get our drinks. The place is still beautifully decorated, clean and with lunch diners already eating well before noon. We were approached immediately and made our order. I asked about the Tuk Took Bites connection and was told it had been cancelled 2 years ago. When he delivered our drinks they were darker than the ones at the event and asked if they both used the same recipe. He said no. We took them anyway and drank them, but though they were perfectly adequate, they were quite different. They were a deeper, sharper taste of Mango and I had preferred the lighter, sweeter version I had last weekend. You may prefer either one and I am hoping that Tuk Took Bites Truck will find themselves in Boulder again some time soon. Thanks to Taj for your drinks (well priced and fresh) today. But not quite the flavor profile I was looking for.
