I just had a horrible experience with Curry Honda, and I will never attempt to buy a car from them again. Just before New Year's I went to Curry Honda looking for a used car for my teen-aged daughter. Our budget is very tight, and I was very upfront about that. I test-drove a Toyota Camry, and was ready to buy. I was ready to pay for the car (cash purchase), and we agreed on a price. The salesperson, Glenn Price, said that Curry Honda would clean it up, repaint a scratch on the front bumper and I could come back on Monday to buy the car. He told me specifically that his manager had agreed to the price I wanted to pay. I woudl have been happy to sign a contract or pay for the car and come back to pick it up when it was ready, but those options were not presented to me. I called Monday, New Year's Eve, to say I was ready to come buy the car. He said there was a problem with the Camry's brakes, and to call on Wednesday. I did as he instructed, and he said it would be ready Friday. I called Friday, and he said the service department was backed up and the car would be ready Monday or Tuesday. I called and spoke with Glenn Price 4 separate times yesterday. Each time he said he was "going to check to see if the car was ready." Finally at 3:30 yesterday afternoon he told me the car would be ready the following day at noon. I reconfirmed the price we had agreed upon at the outset, and he said again that his manager had agreed to the price. This morning slightly after 10:30 he called and said that the sales manager had reneged on the price, that they had had to do too many repairs to the car. Now I had only ever heard about the brakes and the paint scratch, and Glenn didn't detail any of these other so-called repairs. Frankly, I think Curry Honda deliberately led me down the primrose path, in an attempt to extract more money from me. I let them know my displeasure at their duplicitousness, and that I not only would not only not be buying the car, but that I would never buy a car from them ever. They clearly were not dealing with me in good faith. Mr. Price reminded me that we did not have a written agreement, and when I said I would have been happy to sign one, he turned around and said "they won't let us do that." Frankly, I don't believe any of this nonsense about a sales manager or repairs. Car salesmen have reputations for deceitfulness and underhanded tactics, and Glenn Price and Curry Honda are certainly an example of why such reputations are well-earned. read more

Curry Honda was recommended to me so I decided to use their services to buy a new Honda. I have never purchased a new vehicle before so I did not know everything to expect. I happened to be near the dealership before I was ready to buy but I still decided to stop in anyways. Jamie Ham greeted me as I exited my vehicle in the parking lot and asked if he could help me. I just told him that I was near and wanted to see some vehicles but wasn't ready to buy today. He didn't have any problem with that and asked me what I would like to see and drove me around the dealership in a golf cart to any vehicle I asked about. Jamie knew all of the specs of each vehicle and he was aware of the prices when it came to leases and purchasing, Originally. I was looking for a CIvic EX but when I saw the Accord and compared, the price difference was very close and the Accord had much more to offer. Jamie took my number and information and I returned a couple of days later. I called Jamie before I arrived to make sure he was working because I wanted to continue talking with him. So when I returned a couple of days later, I made my decisions to get the 2014 Accord LX. We then went into the dealership and started the process. Unfortunately, since I didn't have many lines of credit, I was denied the opportunity to lease the vehicle from Honda Finance; even if I offered to put any money down. My credit score is in the 700s but because I am young, I didn't have many opportunities to prove that I am a credible borrower. I was frustrated and almost left the dealership but Jamie and the Sales Manager pulled some numbers together and told me they could get me a 72 month loan which brought my monthly payments down to the budget I was looking for. That was very helpful on their part and I ended up purchasing the car with a 72 month loan. Another helpful benefit I received was from the finance department. Usually, the dealerships want you to purchase the vehicle from the manufacturer's financial services but he searched and searched and discovered that Capital One offered a lower APR that would save me money. All together I am extremely happy with my purchase experience and I will be using Curry again in the future. Thanks Curry! read more

I purchased a used vehicle from Honda Curry less than a year ago for approximately $25,000. Since that purchase, I have already been forced to replace the main car battery, both key fob batteries, and I am now being told that all four tires must be replaced. as well of many other maintenance issues. This has resulted in well over $1,000 in unexpected expenses in under a year of ownership. This is not normal, acceptable, or reasonable for a vehicle sold at this price point by a dealership of your size and reputation. Frankly, this is the type of experience I would expect from a "buy here, pay here" lot -- not a Honda dealership that claims to stand behind the quality of its used vehicles. My recent service visit was the final straw. I had a scheduled oil change appointment and was forced to wait over three hours. I was informed this delay was due to a thorough inspection of my vehicle. If your dealership had inspected the vehicle with even a fraction of that scrutiny prior to selling it, many of these issues would have been identified and addressed before I ever drove it off your lot. As a result of this experience, you have permanently lost my business. I nearly purchased another vehicle yesterday and intentionally chose not to do so because of how poorly I have been treated by your dealership. I will also be making sure that everyone I know is aware of my experience so they do not have to through it. I expected far better from Honda Curry, and this experience has been extremely disappointing. I will not be returning and will not recommend your dealership to anyone. Another stellar performance by Curry Honda. I have bought several automobiles at Curry. This time I purchased a Honda cross tour 2013. I chose the four-cylinder EXL model. Every department at Curry Honda has treated me with integrity and respect.James Ballard my salesman, has always been patient listens to my needs and has been able to work out a deal that is good both for himself and for me. The service department at Curry is efficient and gets the job done on time. The bodyshop as well has integrity ,is efficient and does an excellent job.I would like to commend the people at Curry who have been more than helpful. James Ballard my salesman who has always worked with me in a friendly and kind manner. Josh, our technician in the body shop, has also always given excellent advice and does a superb job at reconstructing a car that has had issues with an accident.He is especially helpful navigating issues with insurance.I work with Chris Besser and Cory wright in the service department. They have always been helpful and charge what they say they're going to charge and finish on time.Even the owner Adam Zuckerman has been involved in the deals that I have been asking for. He has been receptive and has allowed me to purchase the car that I am interested in.A note on the Honda cross tour that I purchased. I know that in consumer reports it did not get a great evaluation. I find that this car is probably the nicest Honda and the nicest car that I have owned. The four-cylinder is peppy, the seats are extremely comfortable, and this is the quietest Honda that I have ever owned. As a matter fact it's the quietest car I have ever owned. It has several safety features like blind spot recognition on the right,warning when you are getting out of your lane, and warning when you're getting too close to the car in front of you, that is excellent.If you're looking for great cars and great service go to Curry Honda on Peachtree industrial Boulevard and you will be pleased. read more

This was one of the best new car buying experiences I've had. At the time I was really just doing some research and not considering a purchase, however the Sales Team at Curry went well out of their way to get me a great offer and I bought that same day. I did not experience the pressure to buy or the waiting game tactic that some dealers employ - I feel they were genuinely trying to make me happy and comfortable. I had an older European vehicle that, though in good mechanical condition and appearance, was beginning to exhibit occasional problems. Curry took that car and was able to greatly minimize the balance I still owed and even applied other discounts in order to get me into a new Civic SI with a payment I was comfortable with. In addition, the Sales Team worked out 0.9% on the loan and an extended warranty (there are a lot of electronic components nowadays - better safe than sorry). For me, it was worth a slightly higher monthly payment in order to not have the worry of unexpected, pricey repairs. I have always driven Honda cars until I strayed over into the European market but it feels good to be back with a reliable brand that I know and trust. To my knowledge, the model I have hasn't had any issues and the Service Department has always been available to answer any questions I have. My experience with maintenance has always been fast and hassle-free due to a very professional, knowledgeable team. One final note: During my research, I had checked out some other dealers in the area (OTP) and faced what could only be described as, for lack of a better word, discrimination - something that nobody should have to accept from any business. I'm happy to say that I never experienced anything remotely like that from the team at Curry Honda and would gladly work with them again when I'm ready for another purchase. read more

We bought our 2013 Honda Odyssey at Curry and had an excellent experience. We used USAA for their car buying services and for financing. David Kellam one of their Internet representatives made the process easy and almost fun. We arrived at the dealership on a Monday afternoon around 4 pm and were greeted immediately and taken to meet David who was finishing up with another customer. After a very short wait he took us to see the Odysseys they had in stock. We found just the car we were interested in and went back the office to finalize the deal. David presented us with a list of options, we picked out what we wanted and quickly agreed on a final price. The dealership needed to prep the car and install the options, so we decided to finish up on Tuesday afternoon. We arrived the next afternoon were met by David who told us the car was almost ready and took us to finish the paperwork with Nestor from the business office. in my experience this is usually the most difficult part of buying a car as these guys are usually just another salesman trying to sell you on their financing or leasing plan and of course their extended warranty. That was not the case with Nestor. He asked if we interested in an extended warranty, we declined and finished all the paperwork in less than 15 minutes. By then David had brought the car around for us to inspect and to answer any questions we had about the operation of the car. The only accessory that we had ordered that was not installed was the tow package that was not in stock and had to be ordered. My wife took the car in the following week for this work to be done. The service experience was very professional and the work was done promptly. I recently took my old Accord into Curry Honda's Service Center and had an excellent experience. Car repair situations have a way of getting stormy, but my service advisor had an umbrella. When I showed up at 7am for my appointment Sarah Stewart met me right on-time. Five minutes later my car was on its way back for alignment work. After a little while Sarah appeared and explained the work was complete but her team found two other issues. You never want to hear this from someone wearing a Honda logo. She explained the problems, how they may have been caused and what was required to fix them including costs and time (a part had to be sent from another location). She also explained the varying degrees of urgency of each issue and how long it would be until I would be forced to fix the problems. I didn't expect that; in the past dealership service staff tried to convince me every missing decal on my car threatened imminent and catastrophic engine failure. But she didn't push, only waited while I deliberated. Despite the time involved I decided to proceed. Sarah assured me the work would be done that afternoon and quoted me a time. Then she offered shuttle service or a loaner, but I chose to wait. Every so often she updated me on the progress of the work and when it was complete she walked me through the bill step-by-step, answered all my questions. The customer service experience at Curry Honda was the model of a great service experience. Sarah inspired confidence and when she had to tell me my car needed additional work (plus time and cost), she gave me all the information I needed and in no way pressured me to order additional work. And the best part, after all the work, my car runs great now! If you have a Honda, especially an old one like mine, take it up there, you won't be disappointed. read more

My wife and I recently purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from Curry Honda in Chamblee, GA. Having grown up in Chamblee and lived in the Atlanta area for most of my life, I knew of Curry Honda's good reputation. After a recent car accident we were in the market to purchase another vehicle. We stopped by Curry last Saturday just to "look" at their inventory. We were greeted by a wonderful, cheerful salesman named Charles Williams. Right away, Charles demonstrated his knowledge of the cars and what was available on their lot. He was low pressure and assured us he was there to help. We took a test drive and loved the 2011 Honda Civic that we ended up buying. The only glitch in our experience was the conflicting information that we received from two different finance managers. Jason Bryant, who eventually completed our paperwork with us, had told us a fairly firm interest rate to expect, but another finance manager came over after we had signed a contract to purchase the car. He suggested that we would likely pay a higher interest rate based on our credit score. We talked to Charles again and told him this was a deal breaker. He asked the pre-owned car manager, Bruce Smith, to speak to us and Bruce assured us we would get the lower rate. We still had to pay a slightly higher rate, but Bruce and Charles went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with our decision to buy from Curry. It paid off. Our finance adviser, Jason Bryant, was tremendous. He carefully explained all of the forms and made sure we understood the interest rate and terms. Jason also reminded us that we could pay down the principal and shorten the loan term. So, overall we are quite happy with our new car and the service we received at Curry Honda. I purchased my 2014 Accord EX-L in December from Curry Honda and could not have been happier with the experience! My credit union has a car finder service and called around to local Atlanta dealers find exactly what I wanted at the best possible deal. From start to finish the entire process could not have been easier or more pleasant while working with Ron Williams, Internet Sales Manager for the dealership. I knew exactly what the bottom line, no haggle price of the car was from day one and knew I was getting an exceptional deal. I went to the dealership to test drive the car and Ron already had it pulled up front waiting for me. I was expecting a high pressure, annoying "what will it take for you to walk out of here with this car today" sales tactic, but Ron simply answered the questions I had, asked what other brands I was considering, and confirmed all of the details of the deal that my credit union had communicated. I test drove a few other cars and decided that I wanted the Accord. I inquired about the price of a higher trim level than I was initially planning to get, and again, got the same no-nonsense, bottom line approach I had experienced a few weeks earlier. Brought in my car for an express oil change. Derek Wyche was my advisor and was very professional, honest, and timely. Knowing an inspection would be performed, I went in worried about the potential of getting taken advantage of and wracking up many costs for fixes or tune-ups in addition to the oil change I requested. However, Derek remained very level-headed and honest with me; upon initial inspection, he professionally outlined why and how my tires should be replaced during this servicing and pulled up my car's service history and mileage to help me understand as well. Understanding potential budget issues on my end, he was not pushy nor pressuring in regards to what product to purchase and even recommended a lower-cost tire set to accommodate my needs and wants. He ensured me that my car would be ready before they closed, and that promise was fulfilled. When I returned to pick up my car, I braced myself for the potential of a laundry list of services needed/recommended, but was so relieved to find that no obscure nor additional services were recommended. I felt like Derek truly respected and worked to fulfill my wishes and feel like I can trust him to do honest work on my car without pushing me towards spending money on unnecessary services. Lastly, Derek went out of his way to apply a discount to my overall charges as a way to provide thank you to me as an "essential worker" during this pandemic. I had a good, no pressure, experience purchasing a Curry Honda Pilot. Jonathan Garcia showed me several and let me test drive what ever I wanted. Bill made an offer for the vehicle I drove in with which matched a later instant offer from Kelly Blue Book. I left without making any commitment at all. Over the next week, I looked: at Expeditions (which I had previously preferred), Highlanders and 4 Runners, Durangos, Outbacks, and more. A major consideration was how easily my 90 year old mother could get in and out of it as well as how comfortable she was riding in it. Also, how much it could hold. When I decided to take a second look, Jonathan Garcia was working with another client but, had Jessy Li assist me. Jessy let me test drive on the interstate and it felt good. I brought my mother back to Curry Honda and Jonathan found a Pilot in the color and interior that worked for me. Mom was able to get in and out of it with ease. Jonathan and Jessy helped push the paperwork and preparation to minimize our waiting time. While we waited, Jessy (from her own, personal supply) fixed the best green tea mom has ever had . Jonathan got my phone connected with the Bluetooth, and we were on our way. As I had purchased a towing package, I had to return to have it installed. They supplied a rental car and did the job in a few hours. My service adviser, Jeremy Sanders, answered all my questions and I anticipate years of fast, friendly, fair, and quality service. Normally i would not write about a shopping experience. I take may car to Curry Honda to get the oil changed (fortunately there have been no other needs) and they do what is expected: take me on time, do the work required and get me out on time. The price for the unusual oil needed (0W30) is very competitive and i don't mind waiting for an hour while i read or use their internet access. Yes, i know other places may do it more quickly, but the price really is good. Overall a good experience but nothing exceptional. So, when i needed a light bulb for a tail light i went there to buy the bulb. And this is the real real reason i am writing. When i first walked into the service shop one representative walked right past me without even so much a an acknowledgement. Not a great start. But then someone greeted me and when I asked if someone could help change a tail light for me she says "sure". She asked me to go buy the bulb while she got someone from the service shop to take care of it. Wow, i was impressed. So, i go to buy the bulb and the guy at the parts counter asks is i need help replacing the bulb. i tell him that one of the service reps is getting someone and he says there is no need for that as he would take care of it for me. I pay for the bulb and go out with the person from the parts desk and the service shop guy already started the work. The parts guy finished replacing the bulb and i was out of there in 10 minutes, tops. No charge except for the bulb and all done with a smile. A very positive experience. I was in the market for a new car. I knew what I wanted I just didn't know where I'd find it. I was searching for a 2016 Honda Accord Sport w/ Manual transmission. I went into the local dealership and the sales person there was only interested in taking my information and showing me what was in stock. Complete waste of time. So I went online to Edmunds.com (something I've done in the past) and I sent a request for the specific car that I wanted i.e. 2016 Honda Accord Sport w/ Manual transmission. I got a couple of replies back, one which was Marva Thompson. Now I had already contacted another dealership to see what possibly they could do for me and they seemed unenthusiastic about assisting me. Marva on the other hand went searching all over Georgia (and possibly) the neighboring states for what seemed like a unicorn. Marva has so much charisma and energy she made the deal on her birthday to make sure that the car was still located at a local dealership and that it could be transferred to her the following day. I had almost run out of hope and I didn't expect to hear from Marva on her birthday. I had done some research on my own and a knew where I could go to purchase the vehicle. Turned out it was in the same county that I live, only a couple of towns over. However, the energy and the dedication the Marva displayed drew me into Curry Honda to make the deal. Marva was fair, open and honest with me about everything. With Marva's assistance I was able to ride out with my unicorn (as she called it). Thanks Marva! read more

Just recently bought a Honda Piolt from here, and my experience has been mostly great to ok. We had already test drove all around town and knew we wanted a Pilot. We wanted a 4WD and there are very few around town. Curry had one, so we stopped in because I wanted to hopefully do one final test drive on a 4WD. It didn't start off the greatest because we had to wait around for an hour to test drive a car, and we were switched to a different sales rep in the middle. The new sales rep, Chris, was very nice an informative but had to kind of play catch up from the previous rep. He finally got us on our way to the test drive though. I was happy and ready to make a deal. I always hate the negotiations. It wasn't great but not terrible either. I'm pretty neutral on this area of the process. Just glad it's over! We finished signing all the papers which I was happy they were not pushy on the extended warranties and got us out of there pretty quick. The next day I was having trouble setting up my blue tooth. I called in and the sales rep tried to help me, but decided it would be best to send me to someone more knowledgable. I ended up speaking to Cliff who was very nice. It was too hard to work on over the phone, so he asked if I would stop in. I did, and Cliff ended up figuring it out! He ws great and so was our sales rep Chris. I am overall very satisfied (so far). Let's hope they continue down the road in service! read more

In January 2020, my partner and I looked around at about seven dealerships (Honda, Kia, Toyota, Hyundai models). Curry Honda was definitely the best. George (manager) and Chuck (finance) were also great to work with making it a done deal! During pickup of our car Sook Hee provided a thorough review of the safety features and settings.
