My advice to future customers: do not use Curry Honda for repairs. The long story is below. First, I emailed it to a number of people at Curry; the operations manager called me, made excuses, and promised an unspecified refund--that never showed up. My usual mechanic told me that the power steering problem on my Honda Fit had to be repaired at a dealership. I have used Curry Honda before with decent results, but, overall, this experience was disastrous. There were a few positive elements, including an Uber ride home at no extra itemized cost, a couple of polite and prompt employees, at least nine apologies, and an accurate completion date (the fourth time). There were three elements that were a mix of positive and negative: a rental car was offered, the details were provided when I asked, and it was possible to add days to the rental, beyond the estimated date the repair would be finished. However, the rental was not offered until nine days had passed, and it wasn't available until the eleventh day because Enterprise is only open a half day on weekends. The additional days were available "if needed," but I had already said I needed them, and I never learned if they were actually authorized or not. There were many negative elements. The worst was the price. In addition to being a very expensive repair, and all of the problems that went along with it, I was given what any customer can get on Curry's website: a 10% discount. A mystery charge called "shop supplies" offset the discount on labor. The same Honda part is more expensive at Curry that at a nearby dealership (Gwinnett Place), and much, much higher than prices at non-Honda online sources (which might or might not be a fair comparison). The first three promised completion dates were wrong. Responses to my text messages took a long time, or were not answered at all. The ETA of the part was off by more than 48 hours--and when it arrived on the seventh or eighth day, they discovered that they ordered the wrong part. When I asked for an updated completion date, I was told the part was in Georgia. I asked for a breakdown of prices for parts, labor, etc. but did not receive an answer until I picked up the car and saw the invoice. It seems that the service advisor assigned to a customer is the only one who can tell the customer the status of a car in the service department. The service advisor assigned to me said "they did give us a eta of 3-5 days" at about noon on the fifth day, and he said he did not know about a service bulletin or any problem with power steering on Honda Fits, which I found easily after a web search. One Curry Honda employee interacted with customers without wearing a mask, and a couple of other employees wore masks below their noses. When I picked up my car, two of the items I store in the car were on the driver's side floorboard, including a device that had been plugged in to the data port under the steering column, and Curry Honda papers giving the car a number were left on the seat. Presumably, the battery was disconnected at some point, resulting in a "code error" display on the radio/clock/CD player, but no one entered the code in, offered to look up the code, or even let me know that the radio needed attention. Ironically, after all this, I was asked (via an automated text message) if I would rate the service as excellent. I repeat my advice to future customers: do not use Curry Honda for repairs. If you have to, tell them you want to use all the coupons that are available on their website. Ask for the estimated completion date in writing. Ask ahead of time about rental car options. Keep in mind that they use Enterprise, which closes at noon on Saturday and is closed on Sunday. Ask if customers can provide their own parts. If not, ask whether the part is in stock or needs to be ordered. If it needs to be ordered, ask if the delivery will take two days or a week. Ask for an experienced service advisor. Ask for a back-up service advisor who will also know about your repair. Ask for the cost of the part and the estimate for labor. Ask what the charge for "shop supplies" is. Ask them what a reasonable time frame is for responses to text messages and voicemail messages. Ask if a supervisor monitors the use of masks by employees. Ask if someone looks over the car at the end, if workers leave the car in good condition, and if workers dispose of Curry's internal papers like car repair numbers. read more

I have never had a worse experience from a dealership. The service representative was extremely rude and unprofessional. I went in for a simple battery change on my lunch break and he said it would take an hour and 15 minutes, which was longer than I thought, but that was fine. I had to go back to work so I lyfted there and 30 minutes after I left I got a call saying it was ready. This was frustrating bc I had been told it would take more than twice as long as that. If I had known I would have stayed and waited, saved myself 2 Lyft trips to get my car. The worst part is that when I did come to get my car that night after work, my service representative gave me my keys without telling me where my car was and when I asked he told me it should be just "out back" which happened to be in the parking lot behind the service center which is not lit. So they sent me to go get my car in a dark parking lot at night. At other dealerships my car has always been brought around for me. I don't mind getting my car, but this felt like a safety concern. I will never go back to this Curry Honda dealership and would actually prefer to drive an hour out of my way to go to the Lou Sobh Honda instead. read more

After my original review, where I listed the lies Curry told me in detail, Curry reached out to me and asked me to come in and talk about my experience. I was glad to hear they're interested in making things right. I came in, only to be told the lady I was meeting with was unavailable (in a meeting). When I explained the reason I was there to the service manager, she became visibly upset and defensive. She immediately checked my transmission fluid and tried to tell me, face to face, that the pink fluid on the paper towel needed changing. She didn't care about me at all and didn't want to hear about my experience. I couldn't believe it. I thought Curry couldn't be worse or waste more of my time, but they were and did. If the next-closest Honda mechanic were on top of a mountain of broken glass, I would walk there in bare feet just to avoid Curry. I've helped several of my friends avoid the scum at Curry and will continue to do so. Came on October because wiper blade started streaking and my 2017 Gearshift knob broke to pieces. *known issues for CRV. Got a free oil change card/survey hence my review here, Curry honda refused to replace the wiper blades saying i only need to clean it and everything is performing well. 1 mile after driving from Curry honda, it started streaking again after they say everything is performing as supposed to. While I've had a great experience with Sales and Service, unfortunately my experience with the collision center was far from stellar. I went to pick up my car on a Saturday after being told it was ready the day before. I arrived 45 mins before they were scheduled to close and the shop was already closed up and everyone gone. Besides inconvenience, it cost me 2 extra days of rental car services as I had to wait till Monday to try and pick up my car again. When I complained on Monday, the representative said she was sorry no one was there on Saturday but there was nothing she could do about it. I went into this location doing some research to buy a new vehicle. When the sales associate greeted me I made it clear that I was not looking to buy today, but I was interested in buying within the next week or so. I just wanted to do a test drive so when i came in, I knew exactly what I wanted. The sales associate herself was very kind, polite and helpful. She decided to get me a quote just to have, and then the sales manager showed up. This is when things turn a major turn and why I am giving this place only 1 Star. The sales manager was very pushy to the point where he was trying to strong-arm me into signing a purchase agreement. Now I expect a certain amount of sales shtick from car salesmen. I know its their job, but the manager and senior sales guy were very pushy. 1) They quoted the MSRP as the "best price I will find" (I already had gotten quotes from other dealers for much less). 2) They then mocked me when I said I didn't want to buy today and said "I obviously didn't want to save money". 3) Asked if I was looking at other makes and when I said I was, said that that other make was for "everyday drivers" and Honda was for "Car enthusiasts " (they knew I currently owned a car from that "every-day driver" company) When I was dealing with the first sales associate, I had planned on coming back and getting the car as long as i could haggle down the price some, but the sales manager killed it. Upon my arrival to the dealership a gentleman that was at another vehicle asked how I could be helped and I asked to see the 2019 Honda Civic coupe . He called over another salesman who was standing outside the entryway of the dealership as another salesman approached me saying I was out here first . The first gentleman completely ignored him and continued to call over the other salesman . I let him know that I didn't even need to be there , that I could just go online and I didn't want to be in the middle of whatever they had going on. No apology , nothing! I decided to go inside the dealership in hopes to see vehicles inside but asked the customer service agent for help finding a salesman who wasn't in the middle of whatever was going on with the other salesmen outside. If I hadn't scheduled this into my day I would have left but SM Rezaul Haque , Sales consultant listened , and showed my the car I wanted to see as well as options . What started out as a poor decision to visit this dealership ended up to be a positive informative visit . Just because people have poor behavior at this time doesn't mean that everyone should be like that . Human beings still want excellent customer service . People won't buy from you or recommend you just because . It still matters ! Take your personal problems out of Customers view and deal with it behind closed doors. read more

I took my Civic in to deal with a problem covered by a Warranty Extention. I was told it would take 2 to 3 hours. After 3 hours of waiting there, I checked in with my service technicion and he told me they hadn't been able to find the problem yet. Really? Where was there compenence and consideration of my time invested waiting? I had no more time to stay (waste?) and needed to leave, so he said I needed to bring it back and leave it for a whole day. It was a problem that had history, the extended warranty had been issued for a specific reason. Again, where is the competency and consideration for my time to fix a Honda problem? I went to Curry Honda recently to get routine maintenance on my car. They did a good job however they lacked in one area. Listening to the customer. I told my representative that my automatic windshield wipers were not working since I had my windshield wipers replaced. He chalked it up to possible driver error but he said he would give it a look. Well when I came back for my car a few hours later he told me he checked the windshield wipers and everything was fine. Of course I went to my car and found alas my windshield wipers were still not working. I was persistent so I requested to speak to a manager. A specialist came out instead. He really took his time looking at the issue and discovered indeed something was wrong and it there was an easy fix. He even showed me some additional cool features I wasnt maximizing. He provided real customer service. So I give 3 stars. Sad that the rep didn't want to listen to the customer but that they redeemed themselves with the specialist coming and really providing the customer service I'm paying for. read more

Went to buy a new car at this dealer since I had a TrueCar price quote, before going I also received a seperate price quote from one of their own sales associates. Needless to say the TrueCar price was lower than the dealer price quote. Before going to the dealership I got in contact with the sales person who I had been dealing with and mentioned the TrueCar price quote and she told me that they would honor that price. Unfortunately, when I started talking price with the sales person, the price she gave me was higher than their own price quote I had received via email and it was also a lot higher that the TrueCar price quote. I reminded her about the TrueCar price and her saying that they would honor the price, but after she talked with the Sales Manager he said they could not honor the TrueCar price or their own price they had emailed me. They were not willing to work with me on their own price they had given me the day before. He even went as far as saying that the price I showed him from TrueCar was not for his dealership, even though it had the name and address of the dealership. Not wanting to honor a price is one thing, but lying to someone's face about verified information is another. I will never do business with this dealership and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. If I could I would give it no stars. read more

The only pro is its location. Cons: 1) They give woefully inaccurate estimates on time, then leave you in the waiting room for hours. After waiting six hours for an oil change and service that was estimated 1-1.5, the service manager eventually comped my service. She also said that their volume and position as the only Honda dealer ITP meant they could do whatever they wanted and didn't care about customer service and retention. Awesome. 2) There is always someone flipping out about being ripped off. Which leads me to number 3... 3) They rip you off. Or try to. Our vehicle was in for a recall service (I wanted to take it to another dealer after the Oil Change From Hell, but my husband made the appointment and dropped it off). We asked for an estimate on a known issue. They found two unrelated issues that were Extreme Safety Concerns, totaling $2K in work. We were endangering our children by driving around with these things, y'all! We told them not to do anything and took it to an independent place, who confirmed our suspicions. One of the two was not really an issue and could be fixed at some point in the future when it was time to replace the shocks. The other, which would have been unusual given the vehicle's mileage, was not damaged or leaking or needing to be replaced AT ALL. (Oh, and the independent garage fixed the known issue for $125 less than Curry's quote. 33% up charge at the dealer.) One of the easiest dealerships to work with for service appointments and repair work. I've never have a problem getting an appointment, regardless of when I call. They have excellent customer service, a state of the art facility that provides all the creature comforts to customers who have to wait on the service or repairs for their vehicles. I have utilized the shuttle service they provide when I have been in a situation where I could not wait. I truly appreciate the all friendly and helpful staff who work there. Brought my wife's car to replace the airbags that were recalled with a 7am appointment today. We've been driving around with exploding face bags for 8 years before Honda found the problem and were prepared to fix it. I drove an hour to the dealership and was told that it would take 5 hours to fix even though the flyer I got from Honda stated 45 minutes to an hour. Fine. 7 hours later I'm told it will be 2 more hours. I ask my assigned Service Advisor if anything can be done. He asked, "what do you want _me_ to do?" They gave me a rental car and now I will spend two more hours driving up and back tomorrow. Or it could be tomorrow plus 5 hours. Or another day. Who's to say? Not my assigned Service Advisor. I went in last Sunday to the dealership on Peachtree Industrial - I live in Atlanta not San Francisco (August 27th) to look at Honda CRV's. I was greeted by a salesman named Carroll. He was nice but talked almost the entire time. I made it very clear from the the get go that I was not financing a vehicle and would be paying cash. He immediately stated, "Oh, they aren't going to be happy with that." A turn off from the beginning as it implied, they weren't interested in my business unless I was financing a vehicle. He brought up financing THREE times. Clearly not listening or just didn't care. After driving the vehicle I asked for the walk out cash price. He proceeded to write down numbers on the back of a piece of paper - not explaining any of the fees in addition to the MSRP. I left and texted him for a trade in value on my car and then later asked 2 specific questions. What is the market adjustment fee and what is the accessory fee. He only answered one of my questions. The next morning I decided to reach out to Gwinnett Place Honda. Wow.. what a completely different experience. I asked for a walk out price on the SAME car. Leo, the internet salesperson, emailed me over a very professional quote (not scribbled on a piece of paper) of which there was no "market adjustment fee" and the car was about $5k less. I told Leo I was paying cash and not once did he, or the finance department mention financing to me. I walked in with a cashiers check 1 hour later. Test drove the car and Leo got me in and out with zero pushback and was very appreciative of my business. Wouldn't go back to Honda Carland on Peachtree Industrial ever again. read more

Was originally offered a final price on a CRV EXL And willing to put down deposit for pick up the fallowing week, the manager told us we have the deal and no need. But a week later the sales woman called us and said the sales price has gone up another $500. And 2 weeks later they wanted a total of $1500 more for the car !!! I'm usually one to pick at customer service and I see a lot of negative reviews on Curry. I'm also not a fan of the Atlanta area and much of the businesses here in the city-that being said, I was COMPLETELY satisfied with the service and work I got from Curry on both of my Honda Elements. Let me explain.. I recently moved to Atlanta with my brother and I'm a loyal Honda owner-had them since I could drive. I'm a disabled veteran and before that was public safety, so my back is shot-I have to be careful with car seats as even short rides can be quite painful. The one car I've found so far with the greatest seats (wide and flat) is the Honda Element, which they don't make anymore. To show how loyal I am, I had a 2010 I bought new and finally was pried off of at 211K miles (which Curry did the last big service on) when I found a 2008 with 69K and appeared to be garage kept. Well, looks can be deceiving. I ended up having to put in about 2 grand worth of work to the vehicle to get it up to snuff and fix all the leaks. The service adviser was awesome. She even made a list as to what needed to be fixed immediately and what was up and coming. Did you know if you're a Costco member you can get a coupon to save on service? I didn't until she saw my card in my wallet. Wow! Anyhow, car finally gets out of the shop, I take it out and CLUNK-TAT-TAT-TAT-TAT...something breaks off underneath. I'm now panicking-what's next? Did I buy a lemon? I take it back in and the service adviser calls to let me know there was an error with the car service and that they would fix it. Incredible!!!! I see there are a lot of negative reviews about the service provision here, but I can say without a doubt, I'm very satisfied with what I got from Curry Honda....I'll be keeping this Element for another 10 years hopefully!!! read more

I took my truck to Curry Honda today to have a wiper blade adjustment due to it hitting the driver side pillar. I also noticed a piece of the windshield trim was loose. Thomas Brown was my service advisor and told me he would have someone take care of it. Shortly after Thomas Brown calls me and asked if my truck had recent body work, I told him yes. I said the damage was mainly to the drivers side and Honda replaced the body side moldings. Thomas then suggests that because of the cost of the repairs that the windshield issue must be related. I explained to him that the wiper has had this problem months prior to my accident, and it was unrelated. He then says "well how do I know that" suggesting that I'm lying about why my wiper blade needs to be adjusted. I reiterated the fact that the two were unrelated and he began talking over me reading off all of the parts and repairs that were made to my truck from the accident. He then proceeded to tell me I needed to come pick up my truck because they weren't going to fix it. I told him he needed to fix the problem with the wiper and while I was still speaking he hung the phone up in my face! When I came to his desk he gave me a look of disdain that you wouldn't believe. You would think I had just murdered someone. He spoke to me as if I were a criminal and I don't appreciate that! I have a very high level of integrity and to be treated as if I would lie about something as minuscule as a wiper blade adjustment made me furious! What gives him the right to judge me? I had done nothing to give him the impression that I was a dishonest person. I'm in the process of escalating this issue to corporate to make my point crystal clear that IT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO TREAT CUSTOMERS THIS WAY!!! read more

I have never experienced such a terrible customer service. I purchased my first car ever in July and the paperwork was done wrong. Regardless of the situation and their lack of communication between each other - it was their mistake. I called multiple times and left voicemails and it took about 1 month before someone called me back to say "hey you have to get this fixed through the registration/tag office- paperwork was submitted and there is nothing we can do" . Went to the tag office and registration multiple times- and all they said it was the dealerships fault and they need to redo the paperwork. All in all- no matter how many calls i made- they still did not call me me back after leaving brief detailed messages of the URGENCY of the matter. It took 5 months to finally solve my problem and YES it was their fault all along. LAZY staff, with lack of consideration for their clients! Not even the manager could call me back either. I literally had to call Honda head quarters for them help me out and tell the dealership to fix it! I bought a used SUV from this dealership and didn't get the extended warranty w/the purchase. I did buy an extended warranty from another company after getting home a day later. After purchasing it, driving a few days and getting it home I started to notice a skip/jump in the vehicle. I called my sales person and left several msgs for him but didn't receive a call back. I then scheduled a service appt. but when I got there they said they couldn't service it because it wasn't a Honda vehicle and for me to contact my sales person. The guy I spoke w/at the service area was very understanding, nice and said I needed to talk to my service guy since I just purchased the vehicle and it should be doing what I said it was doing. I then walked down to the sales area to speak w/my sale guy and he tried to act all surprised that something was wrong w/the vehicle. In my opinion, I think they already knew it was a problem w/the vehicle and just didn't want to have it fixed themselves and hoping the next buyer didn't notice anything. Well, I didn't and the cost of getting it fixed fell upon me sadly to say in the amt of $2800.00. The extended warranty I purchased said it wouldn't pay because it was a pre-existing problem w/the vehicle upon doing an inspection. I will NOT be buying another vehicle from Curry Honda or telling anyone they should go there if this is the kind of used vehicles they are selling to people!!!! Such pushy sales tactics! I don't like fast talking car sales people so be aware that they have some here. Fast talkers scream dishonesty to me and I won't do business with them. Even if you say you're just looking, do a test drive and say you have other places to go, the sales people are trained to bring out all the stops and this includes their manager. I must have had a "I don't care" look on my face because they didn't try to make me stay beyond talking to the manager for a few minutes. I left and went to another dealership which is where I ended up buying a carro from. Their used Hondas are also overpriced even at the online price! Buyer beware; you'll need GAP insurance if you come in ignorant of the car's value and finance for more than it's worth! read more

Absolutely horrible. Came in for an oil change with an appointment. Was told 45 min so I went ahead and sat down. After over well over an hour, I went to check on the status of the car and the rep tries to claim my wait is an hour and 45 minutes. Instead of just checking on the status of the car, he chooses to argue with me on what was said. Then he calls the service guy and turns out the car is 5 minutes from being ready. I arrived at Curry Honda to get my car fixed. Made an appointment & everything. When I first got there I stood for a good five minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Kinda rude but anyway. I had brought my laptop to do some homework, as I knew it will be a while before I got my car back. Their Wi-Fi did not work & asked for them to re-set the network. Despite the reset the Wi-Fi still did not work. Very frustrating. Lastly the waiting room is really small & the chairs are in need of serious replacement. There are no desk to sit at. Now onto my car service. I had a coupon for a full-synthetic oil change. For some apparent nonsense reason the rep would not accept it. His whole reasoning sounded suspect. Anyway, the service was okay. You are not told what exactly was done to the car, or if there were any major issues. Maybe in my case there were not any concerns. Update: This review does not reflect the maintenance team. They were spectacular at helping, after I emailed 30 different people. Under no circumstance should you buy a used car from these crooks. They promised a vehicle that had been thoroughly inspected but my mechanic noticed a strange thing: the back door had been repainted. when i asked them about it, they said "oh, these things happen, everything is fine with the vehicle, we promise." When we actually tried to use the door, to load something we noticed that the door DOESNT OPEN. Now, yes we should have checked the doors, but I had assumed that something simple as the door working would have been covered under the "everythings fine with the car, we inspected it thoroughly". Even my mechanic didnt think to open it... My wife called our salesperson and he said, sure, you can bring it in but we dont know how much its going to cost you. I called back telling them that they will be hearing from the Honda corp execs because my next steps in my battle to get justice for my car ($21k) is to contact them. The sales person, Felipe, said, that you should expect that something not work with it... AFTER he sold it... of course. Before he sold it, "Everything is great!" An absolute crook!
