They added carrots and potatoes for 75 cents (really cheap) but it looked like they put one tablespoon of diced carrots and potatoes (why add them at all?). Husband rated the dish 6/10. MIL got the katsu donburi which was a total let down. Flavor was not there. Would not order this again. The waiter was really nice but like a nice scripted robot. The digital menus were taking forever to load so when he came by to check on us, we told him we were still waiting for the menus to load. Having eating Japanese Curry for several years, the curry was good, but had a strange floral overtone i didn't like but my spouse lived (he can't smell and I'm a bloodhound lol). Since it was still early we were able to make it for the lunch special for only $13.50 which came with a small curry with your choice of protein and a side of either gyoza (3), takoyaki (3), or a side salad. Me and my cousin decided to check this place out when we were craving some curry! Located in a strip mall, parking is relatively easy to find and it's right next a very busy AYCE sushi spot. Our waiter told us to sit anywhere which we did find a table. The restaurant itself is pretty small so seating bigger parties could be a hassle. The menu is pretty small but I opted to get some fried squid legs along with a small size curry plate with pork belly. I added carrots and potatoes for an additional $3. Food came out pretty quick! The squid legs came out first and these were delicious! Fried to a crisp with some spicy mayo served on the side. The curry came out next and it was good! I think it needed a little more spice than how it comes which had no spice on it. There was a generous amount of curry but they do kind of skimp out on the meat. Overall though it was a delicious meal and paid around $25 altogether for it. If I could add more recommendations it's probably the portion sizes of the meat. Some more meat wouldn't hurt but it's still a good price for the amount of food you get. If youre in the area, definitely get your curry fix here!
