The staff was very friendly and provided suggestions on other stops to make in the area. You can walk to the boardwalk that is against the canal and read some of the signboards and markers.

Several other random knocks occurred and one woke me up very late at night. The sink stopper was broken, so they fixed it. They removed it by request and it worked better. I stayed during the week and left on Friday. They charge about 3x the normal rate on Friday and Saturday. They would not give me a late checkout.

Upon checking in, Brody was very kind and welcoming, offering us the bikes to cruise around while our room was cleaned. The room is specious and nicely appointed and had all the amenities of home. It is right around the corner from Corolla Village, the coffee shop, ice cream shop and beach. The beach is easily accessible via their golf cart and a 5 min ride.
