They have brochures for places all over the state and some for Virginia as well. There was a note to limit yourself to 7 but I was provided with a bag and encouraged to take more as I gathered ideas for future trips. The staff was very friendly and provided suggestions on other stops to make in the area. You can walk to the boardwalk that is against the canal and read some of the signboards and markers.

The cinnamon bun they always served are still full of southern sweetness. Great breakfast after my morning bike ride. The pool remains to be the highlight of my stay. I can't swim, but walking in it for couple hours is great for my arthritis knees. The gym is small. A bike, treadmill, an elliptical. Each piece of equipment has its own tv. Which on the bike the TV did not work. Nor was the TV on the wall working. There's was no sanitizing wipes available. The room was not vacuumed or dusted. The elevators are not being wiped down daily. Adv easy as this would be to be wiped down and it looking bad that you want a napkin simply to hit the floor button. Not good at all. Definitely all this place needs is a caring staff. A manager that wants his hotel to be the best hotel. I hope they get it back to the standards that made me want to return.

My king room was spacious, and included a sofa, desk, microfridge, hdtv, and a strong wifi signal. Bed was comfortable, everything was clean. The road facing rooms are close enough to the highway that you will hear every 18 wheel truck that goes by. I have traveled and stayed in many hotels for years, but this is the first one every that one required a $2 KEY DEPOSIT for its card keys. Of course they will give it back to you when you check out. I stood there stunned when the desk clerk asked for the deposit. The hotel's reasoning is too many of the cards where not being returned. I know Plymouth is a small town, but I bet they could find a restaurant willing to advertise on the key cards!

Unlike many similar properties, the management and staff understand their mission and their purpose. When you arrive, expect to be greeted and treated like a welcome guest. The common areas are clean and very functional. There's only one elevator, so be patient. The rooms are cleaned to the highest standards, and you'll never find yourself in a room that isn't ready for you with maintenance issues. If for some reason you do have a problem, you'll find a friendly staff ready to ensure you are satisfied and happy. Be prepared to be treated well and appreciated.
