I don't normally eat Indian food a lot but the variety of options on the buffet allowed me to be a bit more adventurous that I would be if I were to only order one dish. Fantastic food!!! I am so excited to have a local place that serves Indian cuisine. The atmosphere was bright, and yet intimate. My husband and I ordered chick-pea pakoras with tamarind and mint-chutney dipping sauces and a green salad for starters. The pakoras were light and crispy and very delicious with the pair of dipping sauces. The salad, surprisingly was the spiciest item we ordered, but it wasn't too spicy. It too was served with a pair of sauces - the mint chutney and a creamy dressing. We had tandoori chicken with jasmine rice and buttered naan for our main dish. The tomato-cream sauce and tender chicken over the fluffy rice was exactly what we craved on a chilly autumn evening - warmed us from the inside. The buttered naan was the best way to get every last drop of the sauce from the chicken. It was plenty for two, and the total bill with tip came to $35 (we both drank water which brought down the cost). This is a wonderful, family-run restaurant that I highly recommend supporting. I have been going to Curries for a while now almost two or three times a week for about one year! The owner is a friendly guy and he goes out of his way to make sure the quality of the food is high and quite fresh. I find their curries palatable, quite delicious actually so much so, you can say that is the only place in Everett I go for Indian these days. They have the variety and are the friendliest people around. The owner and our small engineering team are well acquainted (he actually knows us by name) and are constantly having chats about worldly stuff and he is an intelligent guy. I always feel at home there and he has become like family. I have just ordered some Chicken Tikka and Garlic Naan as we speak. I had no idea what to expect when a friend suggested we try this place out, but I was in for a pleasant surprise. Every curry I've tried here is absolutely fantastic, and the naan is hot and tasty. I was introduced to Indian food when I was very young and always chased that flavor when the cravings set in. Because of this, I've tried so many different restaurants (good and bad) and never really felt satisfied.... until I found Curries. I frequented this business ever since it opened on Casino Rd. It was small, but the food was sublime. It's no surprise they became more successful and relocated on Evergreen Way to open up a larger restaurant. This is the BEST Indian food I've ever had. The quality is incredible and obviously fresh. With the new location they have vastly expanded the menu. I'm always excited to try new things on the menu when I get that curry craving. Everything was stellar, including the service. The owner is active in communicating with guests and very friendly. It's refreshing to see such care and attention in an establishment like this. 10/5. I love going here with my boyfriend they always greet you and as soon as you sit down they ask you what you would like to drink and if you are ready to order the food comes out pretty quick and it is very delicious I highly recommend for anyone to go here and definitely try their mango smoothie drink. read more

These guys are AMAZING. Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING here is absolutely outstanding! Samosas, Naan Bread, Lamb Vindaloo, various kinds of curries, it doesn't matter, they ALL taste like HEAVEN. Yes, there are other Indian restaurants in the area, but not many. This one is VERY convenient though, a little less "sit down", a little more "on the go" (though you can certainly dine in), but it is QUITE healthy as well! They have vegetarian, gluten-free, and traditional options. You'd be hard pressed to find better, healthier food (with a similar quality/similar kinds of foods) at cheaper prices. After all, we are talking about LAMB here... Most importantly, their customer service is pretty much the best around. We went to their Sunday lunch buffet. They have a small spread of some very delicious dishes available for the buffet. I've had a lot of Indian food in the past but this place is by far the best. Lots of flavor and not overly salted. My favorite was the goat curry, the meat was so tender and just full of flavor. My husband couldn't stop eating. The owners are very friendly & welcoming. Their food is amazing! We had papri chaat and samosa chaat, Palak paneer, veg biryani and naan. All dishes were excellent and were cooked with very less oil and similar to home cooked food. All the chutnies smelled of fresh spices and the food was not very spicy - my 15 month kids also enjoyed some of it. Wish this was located on the east side where we reside!! There are no words to explain the experience we just had here. The clay pit is usually our go too, but NO more. This is a little home in the wall mom and pop shop. I unfortunately got there during am the lunch menu, but I explained that my fiance has bronchial phemona and wanted certain things. Boy did the accommodate us! The food was beyond fantastic. We ordered the butter chicken, the special lamb curry and the korma lamb. I was blown away by the customer service and made to feel right at home. This is our official Indian food place now! Uberlicious! A quaint culinary experience awaits....My husband and I came here over the summer of 2014 on the recommendation of Yelp. We were so pleased. I have not eaten much in the way of Indian food, whereas my hubby has more exposure. It surpassed both of our expectations. First, we asked for the waiter to choose our dishes. We wanted to be surprised. He brought us some delicate Samosas, deliciously seasoned and fried. Also a fruit smoothy sort of thing...can't remember the name but it was sweet, thick and creamy. Next, he asked his father, the owner, to come and get our flavor preferences and so the father chose our dishes: Onion Naan, Lentils, Tandoori Lamb, Curry Okra, and of course the quintessential Basmati rice. My favorites were the Lentils, Lamb, and Naan but the Okra was the most surprising. It was baby Okra, flash fried and seasoned. No slimy texture at all. Oh! And you have to try the chutney. It's a luscious green color, made with a variery of herbs and spices. It is addictive and it wonderfully paired with the Naan and Lamb. Our dinner was everything we hoped for and more. Don't let the strip mall location dissuade you from making a trip into Curries. This is by far the best Indian food that I've found. Even better than the best Seattle has to offer. The flavors are like a firework show for the palate! It's family owner and operated which makes me love them even more. We mostly do take out but, I've been in for dinner with the hubby and the service is top notch. The only thing that Curries lacks is ambiance. I, however, am not eating a table cloth or decor.
