I just wanted to thank John and the rest of the team at Curb A Lawn for the wonderful experience I had with them. The quick response on my initial request for a quote set the tone for a fair, professional, and customer focused response. John took the time to listen to my needs and suggested a few things based on his experience. The job itself was done in a short time frame and looks fantastic. Overall I could not be happier and would recommend this business to others without hesitation. read more

Contacted John about a concrete curb for my backyard. He made an arrangement to come by the next morning. He was very thorough with his explanation and price for the job. At the time he said he was about 2 weeks out. I asked if there was anyway he could squeeze me in the same week. He ended up doing just that as their last job on a hot Friday afternoon. His son Drew and another helper actually did the work. They were totally professional and did a great job, the curb looks awesome! Very fair and nicely run family business. I would highly recommend them for curbing or artificial grass. I saw one of their jobs in progress and it was obvious to me they use top quality products and have professional installers! This was absolutely the smoothest contracted work I've ever experienced. From initial estimate, to coming out and talking with my spouse about options, to showing up on time, to doing amazing quality work and not leaving an unexpected mess behind, I'm incredibly satisfied with the experience. No surprises, no oopsies, just fantastic work at a reasonable rate. Couldn't have said it better myself, it's like putting a picture in a frame. Thank you!! This is the finishing touch to my yard that started as nothing but dirt in 2020. read more

Mario also assisted in the job - Thank you all!! read more

Just had a lawn curb installed and what an improvement!! Very efficient & superb work!!!

Curb-A-Lawn is a fantastic company. John, the owner, is a straight-talking individual. During or first meeting he described their synthetic lawn product and how they go about the installation, including the time line. I thought he was a bit overconfident, but he kept his word. The work was done professionally and finished ahead of schedule. This success was because of his crew. They are friendly, respectful, and competent. They work together like the proverbial well-oiled machine. Do not hesitate to use Curb-A-Lawn if you need their services. They're great at what they do: on-time, solid, and a beautiful result. Of course, we all fawn over new shiny things, so I'll post a follow-up to see how things hold up. But based on how the work was done, I doubt I'll be complaining. read more

The crew did a great job. Yard was done like we wanted it to look. I recommend Curb A Lawn read more

John, Drew and Alfredo are by far the most professional and genuinely great people to have in our area. They did an amazing job on our backyard in such a fast, friendly and timely manner. They were able to help us with the design as well to ensure it would and does look perfect. We also referred him to our sister and brother-in-law and again, another perfect job. We will definitely be happy to have them come back to do more work on our front yard as we know we can trust them with what needs to be done. They deliver top shelf quality and service for a very fair price. One of the best family owned businesses you can count on in San Joaquin County by far! Thanks guys! read more

My husband and I were very cautious when it came to selecting someone to intrust with yards. John from Curb-A-Lawn is the gentlemen that came out to quote for our mow strips. I felt like he was very trust worthy, and the price seemed reasonable compared to other companies. John and Son made everything go smoothly, always listened to any special requests I had and was eager to make sure it was done the way that I wanted. Believe me, I'm very picky. My yard was finished in 2 days I highly recommend John and his son they are an A+ in my book. Everything was done over and above anything I could have wanted. I would difinitely request John or his son in any future projects... I highly recommend Curb-A-Lawn are is as good as it gets. read more

We contacted John and he came out the next day and gave us a quote. We scheduled our project with them the next week. They came out on time and complete the job on time and on price. They did a great job on the tree ring mow strip and left our yard in a clean condition. I highly recommend Curb-A-Lawn for your mow strip projects. read more

This is a two fold review the guys that did the actual job did great but it wasn't what we asked for. The guy who came and gave us the estimate said they could put a strip right next to our fence, needed it to stop the dogs digging under. After he left checked on the workers and the curb was still 3 to 8 inches away from the fence and the workers couldn't run their machine next to the fence. read more

Just excellent! Beautiful work. We had artificial turf installed plus pavers and it turned out perfect. He responded immediately when we had questions and addressed any concerns we had. Can absolutely be trusted to do what he says which means a lot these days. Would definitely use again. It has been a while since they did my last yard but it was great work. Clean and fast. Had them for 2 years with 0 issues. Now we are in a new home and was hoping to get them to do another 150' and maybe some other work but they didn't return my calls or messages so I took away two stars for bad customer service. read more

Curb A Lawn is the best. My wife and I wanted to do artificial turf in part of our backyard, but weren't sure the best way to do it. They came in, gave us a good estimate, and made our backyard beautiful. It was a mess before and now I just love looking at it. They did the install 4 months ago, but it still looks brand new. John, who is the owner of Curb A Lawn, was quick to set up an appointment to view my project and give me an estimate on the spot. He is professional and low key. No pressure, just a very clear description of what to expect. We were able to schedule the work in a reasonable amount of time. John and his crew arrived on time and got right to work. We went over the project, he marked it out and then checked with us again before starting. They went right to work and were very respectful of our property. They thoroughly cleaned up when they were done. John then went over instructions for the care of the concrete and left saying to call him if we had any questions or problems. It was truly a positive experience and a great product. I highly recommend Curb A Lawn. read more

We had curb a lawn out several months ago. We wanted the basic cement and they explain to us that if we added a little bit of color and stamping it would match our driveway and walkway. They were absolutely right, it looks beautiful. Reasonably priced and great quality work, I recommend them wholeheartedly read more

I had them do approx 150+ feet of curb in my front and back yard. Hands down the best company I will recommend them over and over again I had 6 quotes before them and they prices didn't even match anyone else. Also I needed the curb a lawn to be a bit higher due to the uneven patches they made that happen. So between the price and they amazing Attitudes and service they absolutely earned this 5 star review. I also plan to use them in the next few month for my grass! Thanks guys! read more

We were moving and had a sentimental piece of concrete with our names we wanted to take with us. We called a half dozen people, most said they couldn't recreate the particular type of lawn strip and one said he could rent it, but had it stolen after renting it (?) and ended up flaking out. Curb a lawn stepped in with very short notice and got the job done quickly and perfectly. Very nice guys who do high quality work. Highly recommended. read more

Curb A Lawn was a great company to work with. They did a great job on the concrete curbs I had laid in my front yard. There customer service was outstanding. I had called in the morning and the owner was out for the estimate that evening. They were on time, got the job done in a very timely manner and cleaned up as of they were never here. I'd recommend this company to anyone who needs curbs laid. read more

I rarely give contractors 5 stars. If they don't do an excellent job, I simply don't review them. I was so impressed by the professionalism and high standards of curb-a-lawn, I am adding them to my 5-star group. Curb-a-lawn installed about 340 linear feet of mowing strip in my front and back yard. Some of the strips were colored and stamped to give the appearance of a one-brick wall. It was all outstanding work. Several of my neighbors have remarked how nice the mowing strips look; one even contracted curb-a-lawn to put in mowing strips in their lawn after seeing what they did in mine. I am pretty careful when finding a contractor to ensure the cost of their estimate is reasonable. Curb-a-lawn uses an extruded concrete technique that keeps costs low. Compared to mowing strips installed using forms, the cost of mowing strips using this method is much less. John and his team (Drew and Andrew) arrived when they said they would, completed the work on time and delivered everything they promised. They were a pleasure to work with and were willing to add some additional work for a very reasonable additional cost. I would not hesitate to recommend this fine company to anyone considering having mowing strips installed. read more

Excellent people do deal with. The owner was very generous helping me decide which curb and options. Very professional from start to finish. Costs were more than fair. I would recommend Curb A Lawn to friends and would use them again in a minute. Thank you very much. read more

We did over 600 feet of curbing at our place. It came out really nice and brought out the curb appeal of our house. We got the 4" x 6" curbing. We called several companies and this was the most affordable. They are not just weekend curbing folks, this is what they do for a living. It was well done. read more

Great family business. Very friendly, affordable, and prompt. Everything one needs with a project.

I was referred to Curb A Lawn by two former customers. A neighbor of mine had used them a few years back and then a work colleague had used them earlier this year. Both spoke highly of the work and price. I called and left a message stating I had been referred by two people and would like to talk to them about an estimate. I never received a call back. Must be nice to be so busy you don't have to worry about calling potential customers back. read more

John and his team are terrific! They are very professional, timely and organized. I enjoyed my interaction with this company from start to finish! I had Curb A Lawn add a mow strip and border around a tree on my front lawn. John was very helpful and assisted us in coming up with a good layout for the strip design. We are very pleased with the results. John also wen t above and beyond when someone stepped on the freshly laid mow strip. John and his crew came back and repaired the area at no charge! I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of their services! read more

We needed 40' of specialized curbing around a new patio we were building. We called John Cowner, owner of Curb-A-Lawn in Escalon, CA. He was busy, and was going to schedule us in a week later. I emphasized that we had to have it done right away because our paver guys were stymied without the curb in place. John understood and immediately scheduled us for the following day: AWESOME! John and his crew showed up right on time the following day and within two hours had the curb in place. We were so grateful! ( A sidebar: we just bought this house and it had several hundred feet of custom curb already in place. Lo and behold! John is the one who had done them! We were so pleased. He was able to match the new curb to the existing ones he had done six or seven years earlier.) John's crew were polite, accommodating, and skilled. Each one knew his job and fulfilled it precisely. We were so impressed! If you are looking for a true professional to do a lawn curbing job for your home, don't miss this man and his crew! They are just beyond fabulous. Their telephone number is (209) 495-8035. Oh! and the price was just perfect. read more
