I went to Curaleaf on Central 3 days ago and bought their "in-house blend" 1/2oz which was buy one get one free. I was hyped because the person who talked me in to buying this assured me it was a good batch. When I came home and opened the bag, the cannabis was brown and soggy, as if it had been sitting for a while. I tried rolling a couple of joints to find that it was old weed we were smoking. Today, I went in to Curaleaf to exchange the medicine since you know, I paid for it, but I had tossed my receipt and it was trash day, however, I've been there a few times and they should have a profile for me, WRONG. Come to find out they did not have a profile for me and could not do an exchange or refund. I went to talk to the manager and showed him the cannabis which is brown and felt soggy, and his response was "that's what you get with discount weed", and said he wasn't going to do anything. I was ok at this point until he started yelling at me to get out because I told him they should retrain if they are not doing the profiles, he threatened to call the cops, and he started treating me as if I had stolen something and was very loud. The manager would not give me his name but he was wearing all black with glasses and a white had, he had a really long beard. How conveniente that they would not have my account on file when I went to exchange expired medicine. I am so disgusted by their actions towards a regular paying customer. I drove down to this dispensary in South Phoenix because they claimed to have a cannabis product that I like. And it was supposedly $33 cheaper than the other Culaleaf dispensaries that I normally deal with. I ordered online, & called twice to confirm the order. For those of you not familiar with the neighborhood this place is in, it's dangerous. That being said, I made the trip to pick up my stash. Upon entering I showed the woman at the desk my driver's license which she scanned only to inform me that it was expired and couldn't be accepted. That was a shock to me, as I used it 30+ times at Curaleaf dispensaries in Phoenix before tonight. I asked her if I could show her other ID and she said no. Now this isn't about age restrictions. I'm over 65, and would not be mistaken for being under 21. I have to assume she was just being a jerk. So I drove back home and immediately checked my driver's license info online and of course found it to be current until 2029. So the moral of this story is that I'll never patronize this Curaleaf store on 3333 South Central Ave, Phoenix again. And I strongly recommend that you don't either. Why put an online order if you still have to wait 10-15 minutes in line with the walk-ins, who sometimes get served first. Not a very good experience today and their check in system is easy, but not very well organized and coordinated well as far as handling the customers. Don't waste your time placing an online order, because you will still have to wait in line for a while in the back. The staff is Blah, but at least they are not rude. The customer service here is not great but it's not bad, either. The guy at the from was super nice but once inside? It took forever for me (3rd in line) to get to the front and once there, the person helping wasn't very customer servicy which would be fine for some but it triggered my social anxiety especially after being in line for what was too long. I also didn't appreciate that their online price or THC % wasn't what they had in store, it's the first time this ever happens at a dispensary to me, only reason I continued with my purchase was because it's by my house and i didn't want to drive 20 minutes away to the next place but obviously its what i will be doing moving forward. I did a pick up order because I am short on time. I have been to this location multiple times and always had a wonderful experience, everybody is friendly, and I was excited to come back pick up my order today. I was surprised when I got here and I didn't really notice anybody in the front checking people in because the girl was dressed in her pajamas so she did not appear to be on shift. So I walked up to the usual pick up window and asked if the pick up was still at the window. What am assuming is a manager behind the glass told me that I needed to check in, was very rude, and told me that there was a reason they had a process the way they did. I stated I was just asking a simple question. Probably the least welcoming experience I have had at the store. Then they told us we needed to just go to the back because pick up policies had changed, so now I'm standing in a line, watching the same manager it was rude to me kind of walk around and do nothing not offering to help us out faster. I'm confused and disappointed. Perhaps some coaching from other Curaleaf managers and increased professionalism would help. I recommend going to any other location. Curaleaf is awesome. Thieves, i bought 3.5 grams today and decided to weight it to make sure i wasn't being robbed and just as I thought. It was half a gram light. I took pictures aswell. Before the takeover by Curaleaf this used to be a great dispensary. The bud tenders knew your name, always tried to help you with the best selections, and honestly seemed to care about you as a patient and a person. Today this is no longer the case. Most of the best bud tenders have left for companies that values the people first. Leaving behind a group of zombies that know next to nothing about the product they sell and see patients as nothing but dollar signs. This past visit is officially my last. The theft of 16g off of my allotment is unforgivable. I would not recommend anyone to try this dispensary. With the wide array of shops to choose from you have plenty of options.
