A clear plastic cup with caramel syrup drizzled inside, containing a light-colored beverage, held by a person with a background of a neutral indoor setting.

I like the coffee here; it's more than a tad bit different from the other places. This particular one is inside UMMC, and it's just as relaxing, unique, and pretty as the other Cups Espresso. The service is the same, too. Also, Cups has the best brownies and muffins. I know there is some kind of secret recipe. The pastries are just like the coffee; there's a difference, meaning more love and special ingredients go into everything they do, so that's why they will always be my first favorite.

I ordered a small cappuccino with two shots. I can't even taste the espresso, though it's definitely there. I can't even detect a coffee taste. Either the roast is extremely bland or the extraction is a failure. Also, the scone is on the doughy side, but tasted alright.

    Awesome place, awesome people!

The quality of the coffee is outstanding and the people who work here are truly wonderful. They are attentive to your likes and dislikes and become fast friends to those who are regulars.

Urban Foxes is a true gem in Belhaven Heights. Yes, the coffee is great--but this spot is much more…read morethan a coffee shop. The pastry case is stacked: a wide range of sweet and savory options, all baked in-house, plus a small rotating menu of heartier plates that make it easy to do either a light bite or a full breakfast/lunch. Bonus points for the strong vegetarian lineup and frequent vegan options--my go-tos are the black bean roll and the tomato pie. The baristas are friendly, service is quick and efficient, and the space itself is incredibly comfortable. Set in an old house with thoughtful decor, it has classic coffeehouse vibes (no cold, industrial feel here), making it equally good for meeting friends or settling in to get work done. There's also plenty of outdoor seating and a great backyard. On top of all that, Urban Foxes serves a solid selection of local craft beers and hard seltzers and really leans into community--regular pop-ups, art markets, and music shows ranging from punk to hip hop. Pro tip: grab a free zine on your way in. This place does a lot, and it does it well.

Just what they made that day. Everything we had was delicious. Mixed berry pie, cinnamon coffee cake, peanut butter pie. Chai latte and a couple lattes. Fun interior. Great service. Exceptionally friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend. I am glad I finally made it in!

I also saw covered outdoor seating. In fact, there were multiple options for seating. I especially admired the design-flow which allowed the customer line to be separated from the seating areas so that the customers don't have to be in the way of those that are seated. The shop is bright and bright the element of outdoors into the interior in a subtle way with its plants and large windows. I'm such a sucker for pleasant greetings and warm hospitality! "You had me at 'Hello! How are you?'" The world could certainly use more kindness and genuine southern hospitality. Now, here's what really wowed the coffee enthusiast/hobbyist in me! Espresso shots were being pulled meticulously with attention to detail, including the use of a scale, which provides for consistency! The flavorings/syrups were not pumped haphazardly from the familiar brand-name syrup bottles. Rather, for my latte, an in-house syrup was carefully measured for the perfect taste! My delicious, honey-cinnamon latte was made with care, attention to detail, quality ingredients, and finesse! Loved it! If I'm ever in Jackson, this will definitely be my go-to spot!

Ordered at counter and the person taking order seemed to care less if I was there. Food was good. It always has been solid. But this visit, it was nothing special. My friend loves the classic New York style. I've also had KingCake here! It was so good and fresh. I'm typically picky about King Cake, but I definitely recommend. They also have cookies, muffins, scones, and more. Food - Breakfast OMG! So many choices - Biscuits & gravy, omlettes, low carb bowls with plenty of protein and veggies, avocado toast, breakfast burrito, etc. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong. Atmosphere - It's chill depending on when you come. Just know the weekends are super busy, so make sure you get there early. You can post inside the cafe, on the patio, or in tables throughout Banner Hall which houses Lumeria book store and some other boutique shops. Prices on food are reasonable. One slice of cheesecake is a little pricey, but it's a large slice and honestly worth it. Overall, this is my favorite place to get breakfast in Jackson!
