The rate was increased to $178/month only 6 months later, a 34% increase in only 6 months of having the unit. I understand it a month-to-month agreement, but that is a ridiculous increase. I call it price gouging because you move all your stuff in and they know it's a pain to relocate everything to a new facility - you feel stuck. It's unethical at least. I will be looking for a new company to work with.

I personally feel this is a perfectly reasonable and secure place to store belongings. If there's a place out there that can promise complete protection at all times, I'd love to know where it is--because I'd like to store my things there too. Also expecting them to be in control of something such as city issues overlooks the limitations most private businesses face when relying on municipal response.

I only used the unit for about half a year but had a great overall experience, and would recommend to others. At time of usage, prices for their standard large units probably range from $400-500/monthly. (Your mileage may vary, as property in this area continues to go up up up) One great perk about these facilities is that they have power outlets (which is rare for a storage unit) and internal lighting.
