6/26/21 -Placed order at 2pm - got food at 2:45pm. Long line in drive thru. Seemed to have inexperienced staff. Staff seemed busy with the drive thru service .Food delivery to the dining room seemed to be backed up. When I asked for our food, they got it from food waiting area. If I had not asked how long would it have been? Burgers and Fries tasted as good as always but not hot, on the cool side, Went back and ordered turtle sundaes, the cashier said to wait at the end of the counter and someone would make them. Waited a bit and he came and made them. Wished I got a receipt so I could acknowledge his good service. Always always check you order before you leave, for my last three trips in a row an item has been missing. If you try and call the store right now they won't pickup. Once I was able to reach the manager who said they'd send me a voucher in the mail, which never came. The food is great a cut above most other fast food. The lemon ice is amazing. Do be aware the custard melts very fast if you have a trip home more than 10 minutes be aware of melting. read more

If I need something close to fast food Culver's does the job great beef great service and fresh vegetables on their burgers. I prefer the burgers with no bun this makes them very low in carbohydrates, but very high flavor. I also like the fact that covers supports the community and tries to purchase local. Thus culvers provided me with the best service that I've ever had at a culvers ot quick dinning restaurant. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the very pleasant cashier Maria. She was just so friendly and went into details when I asked for recommendations. We placed our order and went back to the dinning area. A young gentleman named Dezman was cleaning and commented on my Lions shirt. We talked about sports for a good 30 minutes and he is an expert of all things Detroit sports. Really good guy. When our food comes out, it was hot, fresh and delicious. The gentleman that brought it out went back twice to give us additional condiments and made sure everything was perfect. So I went on a tipping spree and turns out the gentleman that brought us the food was the owner. We continued to to talk, Jeffery displayed how caring and passionate he is about his business, customers and employees. Great organization and everyone takes pride in what they do. BAD EXPERIENCE- Ordered the fish and chips dinner ($13) with extra tartar sauce. When I arrived home there were 3 cocktail sauces and three steak sauce. I don't feel there was any intention to give me tartar sauce. Worst meal ever. Called the number on the receipt. Manager told me I could drive back for tartar sauce or return the food. Service wasn't poor, but the food was cold. Are in the parking lot and it was cold. The soda also tasted off... my guess is not only did they not remember to keep the food warm, they also never clean the soft drink machine. I reported an incident that had happened at Culver's of an employee throwing food at other employees. One of the girls who was hit by whatever he was throwing said what's wrong with him and another employee said he's drunk. I reported this to Culver's corporate they said they would have the owner give me a call. Instead I received a call from the manager who was very rude and told me it could not have happened because all of their employees are only 15 and 16 years old. So she basically called me a liar in my opinion. I told her I'm only reporting what I heard and observed. When my husband suggested this place i thought he was joking. He said that he had one of their burgers and it was the best. I'm not a burger person because every place I've tried a burger, I always have complaints. To keep it quite simple, I can eat a Wendy's cheeseburger and be ok. Well he made me try a kids meal burger for starters. I must say it was a delicious burger!! The burger is thin and the toppings were perfect!!! The onion rings were great as well. We decided to eat there, and I must say it was a nice clean atmosphere. It's a nice place to take the family for a reasonable meal. The customer service was great as well!!! This Culver's was a massive disappointment. I have been to many Culver's in Michigan and never been in one that the employees didn't seem to care. All others have been very customer oriented, Not This One!!!! After I informed the young girl at the register that I have a gluten and dairy allergy I placed and order for a double hamburger, no onions, gluten free bun, lettuce, tomato, pickles, mayo and bacon. I waited for 20 minutes, watching others that had come after me get their orders. Just as I was going to ask when I might get my order I was brought only 2 meat patties and a little bit of lettuce between them. I was asked if that is what I ordered and told her no, it was missing what was on the order ticket. The 2 patties were taken back and then the items I had originally ordered were brought back and the young lad bringing it asked me if this is what I ordered and then said here and put the plater down hard and slid it towards me and walked off. So now that I had to wait about 30 minutes to have this dropped back to me and having to leave to make it to an appointment I had scheduled I contacted the manager and informed her what had happened and how surprised I was at the treatment here in Roseville, Mi that was never displayed anywhere else. She apologized and I was given a slip for a free Value basket, but most of that contains gluten and dairy so I am unable to use it. Fortunately for me I am not in that area often so I will avoid this Culver's but sure will let others I talk with know what happened here. read more

Food is great IF they get your order correct. Staff hustles but seems overwhelmed & frequently confused. Ordered 2 WI Pub burger one with Mayo, one without Mayo. I asked if I could have the Mayo on the side. It was a special roasted garlic mayo. Didn't seem like a challenging order. Both came swimming in the roasted garlic mayo. When I brought it up & explained to the same woman who took my order, she looked annoyed. She took the burger & requested a new one, (which I waited for at the counter instead of anyone offering to bring it to my seat. Onion rings getting cold.) When my burger finally came up, I had to ask someone to get it for me, no roasted garlic mayo on the side. So I asked if I could have it & this same woman threw packets of regular mayo at me. Did White Castle grow up? I stopped here on the way to Lexington a few days back and honestly had no idea what this place was or why they are popping up all over Michigan. I pulled into the drive thru and asked the person to order what their specialty is for me. I got some sort of cheeseburger, crinkle fries, and drink for 4-5 bucks. I unwrapped the burger and had 3:00 a.m. college flashbacks. The burger was extremely greasy but in a I've just had a 12 pack and shots and really need this sort of way. The burger was actually pretty good for fast food. I'd put it somewhere between Hardees and 5 guys, leaning more toward Hardees. The fries were good-hot and crispy and who doesn't love crinkles? Overall not a bad place. I don't think I'd make a habit of coming here but I would have no problem coming back. read more

I'm not a fan of fast food, but as Craig said in his review, to call Culver's "fast food" is to do it a disservice. Yes, they have a drive thru and they have "value meals," but everything is cooked to order (except for the fries). The ingredients are fresh. For example, I ordered a deluxe double cheeseburger today - the beef was hot, I had a choice of cheese (I chose cheddar), lettuce, red onion(!), & tomato were flavorful, and pickles were thick cut. I've had their butterburgers, too. Yes, they're delicious - I mean a cheeseburger on a buttered bun, obviously awesome - but they are pretty rich. The sides are decent, too. The fried cheese curds are wonderful. Little salty, chewy, crunchy bits of goodness. Crinkle cut fries are hit or miss. If you get a fresh batch, their pretty awesome - unsalted, which I like. But if you get an old batch, they can be soggy and lukewarm, which is good for nobody. I understand the custard, ice cream, and shakes are supposed to be good, but I have not indulged. I'll be back to try those. Culver's is a solid choice for a quick burger. If you're close to Roseville, check it out - much better than the other fast food choices. read more

Went for their pumpkin shake which in the past has been amazing! So thick you actually had to let it warm up a bit before you could get it through the straw. Something has definitely changed. The shake was water thin and tasted off. The cup it came in was flimsy. The onion rings saved the day and gave this review the 3 stars. Was not worth the $8.00, since the shake went down the sink. WIMPY BURGER -- RIP OFF! Culver's put's the mini in their burgers and "meat loaf" sandwiches. And they are way too expensive. Their combination meal is a complete rip off for over $8. You get the usual 3 items, in minature size...IE: The Culver burger, which is a SLIDER-SIZED, wimpy burger, a regular fry (their fries are yummy) and a soda pop. And they call this a "meal". Huh? There is no way that this is could be considered a fair price...we left hungry that day, and very disappointed. The only plus...Their cold deserts...However, Mom made the mistake of ordering a small Shake with her combination meal, and Culver up-charged us another buck. read more

Fast, fresh and friendly. They don't have many vegetarian options however the staff was very nice and helpful when assisting me with my selections. The root beer float was delicious. I stop by here often when driving through the area, usually about once every week or two. Service is standard for a fast food restaurant but the foot here is good. I have not received bad food from here yet. Whatever you do, don't go to the Cracker Barrel next door though, they have the slowest and worst service ever. I've always had a great experience at this Culver's location. They have become my favorite burger joint! The butter burgers are awesome, I know they will eventually give me a heart attack, but well worth it. I also really like the custard there, it has a great smooth taste. It's nice they let you make your concrete or sundae with whichever toppings you like. The service has always been good at this location. I have seen better service at other Culver locations, but as fast food employees go, there trained well. I also tried the fish platter once, it was good, but I think I'll stick to the burger and fries when I go there. read more

Culvers is no Five Guys, but if you're in the area it is definitely the best place to get a good burger. Their butter burgers are sinfully delicious. The meat is thick and juicy, the fries are thick, hot and salty and the dessert and ice cream shakes are thick, creamy and flavorful. I guess everything about this place is thick, which is a good thing when it comes to a burger joint. The burgers are cooked to order, and they have a wide variety, including fish and other seafood choices. I usually opt for a butter burger or the patty melt. If I'm going to a burger joint I'm going to do it up since I rarely eat red meat. You can't pass up the cheese curds, either. After living in Minneapolis for a while I began to take places like Culver's for granted. Having moved back to NC I found my stop into Culver's here in the Detroit area a nice treat. Enjoyed a double mushroom and swiss butter burger and some cheese curds with ranch. Although not the best I've ever had, their curds are a nice quick fix and take me back to my time in Minny. Their burger are solid and a little messy - that's part of what makes them great. Just be sure to grab a couple extra napkins. Service was good and employees were polite. read more
